Leo XV - January 18, 2008 06:58 AM (GMT)
Leo XV wandered around the large frigate on the cealing, deep in thought state. The fact there was another Geth, who was against the others, who had a more independant state of mind. And the fact there was that human who had geth implants and dared insulted him. He didn't realise he had wandered into the confrence room until he stopped to look around.

"Oh sorry" Leo XV said, hopping down onto the floor "By the way I belive I didn't welcome myself properly" he said "Im Leonite Xv Omega, or Leo XV" he introduced "may I request what your names are?"

Leo XV - January 18, 2008 09:33 AM (GMT)
Leo XV could sense some distrust from Sythe "If you dont trust me, just tell me" he said, then he looked at the Quarian 'may I request your name?" he asked, cocking his head to the side.

Leo XV - January 18, 2008 10:40 AM (GMT)
Leo looked at Sythe, something about him seemed familiar. Then as he scanned through his memory banks he found the peice of information he was looking for. He remembered that Sythe had been one of the thirteen councillers back when they served in the geth, and he had served under him. "Where are we going anyway" Leo XV asked cautiously, knowing that Sythe had been extremely ruthless back in those days.

Rasengod7 - January 18, 2008 06:00 PM (GMT)
Kaleb relaxed on his chair. He had requested this chair from his home planet. It was a specially designed hand woven chair. Kaleb was also excited that the mission began. So far things were progressing smoothly.

Kaleb accessed the command console and broadcasted a message. "I would like all of the ships to dock with each other. Everyone will meet in the Crimson's conference room. Its time I explain the details of this mission." Kaleb said over the transmission. Kaleb walked down to the conference room.

Tsunami - January 18, 2008 10:35 PM (GMT)
Luke got out of his ship and stepped onto the deck of the crimson, he had a data pad with him containing the entire set of schematics for his ship, weapons, shield capabilities, armaments and the like, in case they needed a full report on what they had to work with. After asking for directions, he came to the conference room. Luke nodded to eeveryone there and took a seat. "Evening Gentlemen.".

xp194 - January 18, 2008 11:26 PM (GMT)
The engines of the Independance flared for touchdown. About 10 metres off the ground of the hangar, they cut out unexpectedly, and it slammed into the groud. A few seconds later, a rather dazed xp194 popped the hatch, and crawled out. After a few minutes, he made his way to the conferance room.

"Sorry I'm late. I was interrogated by C-Sec, on my way off the Citadel. At least they listened to me this time. I owe you one," xp194 paused, slightly as his optics identified the geth infront of him, "Sythenus. What news have you?"

Leo XV - January 19, 2008 01:22 AM (GMT)
Leo XV's sensors detected another Geth precence, a friend of Sythe's by the looks of it "Excuse me" Leo XV said "But may I ask what your name is?" Leo XV asked.

xp194 - January 19, 2008 10:15 AM (GMT)
"My name is xp194. I gained indepenance after a freak accident on the world of Proximita."

Tsunami - January 19, 2008 03:24 PM (GMT)
Luke set his data pad on the table and pulled out a cord to attach it to the holodisplay he noticed at the centre. It would deffinetly make it easier for him. He decided to stand up "Gentlemen, allow me to introduce myself. I am Corporal Luke Helios. Alliance Military, and a friend of Sythenus. I hope we can all work together."

Leo XV - January 19, 2008 10:15 PM (GMT)
Leo looked at the two new arrivals that other Geth, his story sounds to rehersed he thougfht And that new one said hes a friend of Sythe, I better keep my optical veiwing point on them "I am Captin Leonite XV Omega, but for ease, just call me Leo XV" he said, pulling out his own data pad and attaching it to the holoprojector "Are we waiting for anyone else?" he asked.

Opium - January 19, 2008 11:43 PM (GMT)
Opium was listening to the whole conversation and watched all the people come in. She was sort of in a daze and couldn't get out of it, until now. She tried to remember all the things that they were saying. She remembered one thing. "My name is Opium Na'yari! I am very pleased to meet you all!" she abruptly shouted out so that everyone in ear shot can hear. Opium covered her mouth in surprise from her almost-random outburst. She looked around at each person, mentally jotting down all their names. She was quite good at remembering stuff.

She giggled coyly, but gracefully to cover-up her sudden occurrence.
She quickly grabbed a seat and sat there, smiling warmly.

Rasengod7 - January 20, 2008 02:22 AM (GMT)
"Okay good now that everyone is here lets begin. This mission is very important. This mission is also very dangerous. When we do succeed in this mission we will be known as heroes that is if we succeed. I will give all of you one last chance to back out. Your lives are on the line. I just want to make sure all of you are completely ready. I can't have anyone lose it in the middle of a battle." Kaleb said. Kaleb shifted nervously in his seat. He should have asked himself that question too. Was he really willing to bet his life on a geth that supposedly knows how to cure indoctrination? Of course he was.

Tsunami - January 20, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
Luke nodded. "Whether or not we can acomplish this isn't what's important. If I may say this and I believe it goes for everyone. We are here becuase we believe. In a hope for the future, in liberation for the geth from the reapers whther they join us or not, and most important is we believe in Sythenus. He has shown us that no matter the species, there is good in everyone organic or synthetic. And I for one will NOT back down in fear. I came here to help of my own free will and that is exactly what I plan to do." That was probably the most Luke had ever spoken at once. He meant every word of it.

Vasto Duval - January 20, 2008 03:32 AM (GMT)
Vasto, unlike most of the others was already onboard the Crimson but he somehow managed to be late for the mission briefing. A stupid thing to do but he had a few things to take care of before the mission began.

Pulling out his comlink, he fumbled with it for a bit, trying desperately to figure out what he should tell his crew. Of course, the mission was top secret so he couldn't tell them the truth. And not telling the truth? Well, that wasn't something many Turians could do to the ones they cared for. Vasto gave a deep sigh as he switched frequencies to the TSF Unification and turned the comlink on, "This is Staff Sergeant Duval. I regretfully announce that I must attend a family emergency on Palaven. I do not know why but I formally appologize for this inconvenience and I will contact you as soon as I can. Staff Sergeant Duval, out."

Vasto switched the comlink off and though, a family emergency? Now that was stupid as he knew full well that most of his crew had known that he had not been in contact with his family since boot camp. And knowing his crew, they would probably figure something out. What was done, was done though and Vasto would have to deal with it when he came back... if he came back. For now, he couldn't afford to worry about it as there was a crucial mission laid ahead of him that could possibly change the tide of the war. Vasto was willing to risk everything for that chance. It was his duty to do so.

Vasto set down his comlink on one of the medical bays bunks, his current place of residence for the mission, and headed out the door to make his way towards the conference room.

As Vasto entered into the conference room, there was unexpectedly a large number of fellow combatants from various races, including three Geth. He knew that there might be two, but three? Vasto would have a helluva time watching them, but mostly the other two that he had not met already. One of them was a Geth hopper of a distinct color and like Sythenus, he was black in color but had a golden XV on his back which was glowing and his photoreceptors were green. Vasto wondered if these distinct colors were meant to fool their enemies into thinking these Geth were different from the others just because of their colors. The third Geth was much like Sythenus in stature, but much smaller and looked much like a standard Geth Trooper in color despite the green photoreceptors.

Among this group was a male human, younger looking but definitely military, which was confirmed by his rank patch on the right side of his chest which said he was a corpral. The more companions that had military experience, the better it would be for all of them. Then of course there was the Quarian female whom he had seen earlier on the Presidum when had first met Sythenus. Naturally, Kaleb was there also, being that he was currently heading the mission.

Vasto noticed that the meeting had already started as the human finished talking about how willing he was to risk his life for same reason that he was on this mission for. And so, realizing that he was late, he approached the center of the room and addressed everyone while giving a slight nod in Sythenus' direction. "Please forgive me for being late for the mission briefing. I do not make a habit of doing such things but there were certain issues that had to be dealt with before I would go on a mission of great importance."

Turning now towards Kaleb, he said, "We've been at war with the Reapers and the Geth, well, most of the Geth, for over thirteen years now. During these thirteen years, we have lost much ground as planet after planet is conquered by their overwhelming forces. The cure for the indoctrination that Sythenus has found gives us a chance to finally unite many species of the galaxy to stand against the Reapers and maybe then, the war can be won. So, I'm sure I speak for every man and women, every sentient being and sythentic here that we are more than willing to put our lives on the line for the chance of victory."

Opium - January 20, 2008 05:20 AM (GMT)
"Yes, I agree with the others. I couldn't have said anything better." Opium said after Vasto was finished. She glanced at everyone for a second and felt completely comfortable sitting there. She knew that no one would treat her unfairly durring this very important mission. She was happy to help all these different species and she will give her life to complete this mission.

Leo XV - January 20, 2008 11:04 AM (GMT)
"Wait Sythe" Leo Xv said, before Sythe had gotten out of the room "I'd just like to ask if I could bring one of my team along, hes a Krogan, but hed get suspicious if he wasnt taken on a mission like this"

Leo then looked around and said quietly, so only Sythe could hear him "And so I know your not leading us into a trap, counciller" he said, streaching out that last part.

Leo XV - January 20, 2008 11:48 AM (GMT)
Still unsure of the former counciller's true motives, Leo XV headed back to his ship to explain to Gen, shouldn't be too hard, the guy loved fighting Geth.

xp194 - January 20, 2008 06:19 PM (GMT)
xp194 fell in behind Syth, when he noticed the Quarian. Xp194 was one of the '2nd generation' geth, that is, those made after the Quarians were forced off their homeworld, so he hadn't taken part in the original war. However, like all geth, he knew of the 'betrayal'. This one wasn't trying to kill him, however, so he extended an appendage.

"Greetings. Looks like I'm working with you."

Rasengod7 - January 20, 2008 06:23 PM (GMT)
Kaleb went to the control console in the Crimson. He looked over the equipment they had this for this mission. They had several pulse rifles due to the three geth that were on this mission. Kaleb brought some spectre class weapons too. Kaleb also brought enough necessities to last them a while. The others brought their own weapons as well. "It should be enough for the duration of the mission." Kaleb thought.

He then checked on the three ship's schematics. He knew what the Crimson could do. The Crimson is the most agile ship in their makeshift battle group. The Crimson used rail guns as its main weapon. The VI on board the ship could pilot the ship alone.

Leo XV's ship is the Omega. The ship had a manta ray design. The ship was heavily armored and would prove useful in this mission.

Sythenus' ship is the Eventide. This ship was the fastest ship in their group. The ship also had stealth capabilities. This ship also had special properties that helped the ship even more.

Kaleb then checked on each of the members of this mission. He needed to know for sure, as a final precaution, that they could be trusted. Kaleb started with the quarian, Opium Na'yari. Opium was 22, still young. She was an experienced medic. The rest of her info was her personal life. In there it mentioned something about a disease. Kaleb looked more into that, but decided that it wasn't really a problem. Opium's medical skills would be vital to the success of this mission. Her inexperience in combat could be a problem though.

Leonite XV Omega was one of their three geths. He was a geth hopper and seemed to be a great sniper. He also had a great disdain for the reapers and anyone allied with them. Kaleb knew he didn't have to worry about this geth killing his own kind.

The second geth was xp194. This geth seemed to like humans a lot. xp's connection to the neural network was also cut off so he couldn't betray them even if he wanted to.

Vasto Duval seemed to be the most capable soldier on this mission. He has recieved many awards and also has been fighting the geth for years. Vasto didn't seem to have a problem with the geth on this mission, but Kaleb decided to keep a close eye on him.

Luke Helios is the only human on this mission. He was a little older than the quarian, but he was still young. He seems to be very loyal to their cause. At the same time he had a special ability that made his adrenaline shoot up.

Sythenus was the last of the geth on this mission. He was the one that started this mission and was Kaleb's second in command. When it came down to where they were going Sythe would be in charge, but when it came down to the actual operations Kaleb was in charge. Sythenus' history was not accessible to Kaleb so he couldn't really find information on him. All Kaleb knew was that for some reason he trusted Sythe. The others also seemed to trust him. Kaleb would have to put his faith on Sythe.

Kaleb saw his information on display too. He decided to see what he could contribute to this mission. Kaleb was the third youngest one in the group. He has had his hardships, but has gotten through them. Kaleb is the only Spectre in the group as well which made him leader. Kaleb also participated in some of the most violent wars. Kaleb's left arm was cut off by his father and now he has a prosthetic one that can use tech powers. The Council also placed Sythe under his watch. What Sythenus didn't know was that the Council felt that if this mission were to succeed it would be up to Kaleb to make Sythenus a Spectre. To Kaleb he was the one that should be under suspicion. He had his own agenda. He was using all of these 'people' to further his own goals. Kaleb didn't want to admit it, but everything in his life now revolved around his hate for his father, Dygnitas.

Kaleb finished his research. Kaleb sent a message for all teams to go to their respective ships. Kaleb waited for Luke to meet him in the Crimson. The teams were set. Kaleb and Luke would go on the Crimson. Leo XV and Vasto would go on Leo's ship, Omega. Finally Sythenus, Opium and xp194 would go on Sythenus' ship, the Eventide. Everything was ready. It was time to head to Estrire.

(Hope I got everything right :D )

Opium - January 20, 2008 08:50 PM (GMT)
"Greetings. Looks like I'm working with you."

Opium turned to the geth. "Oh, yes...xp194, right? I can hardly wait to get on with this mission! Imagine...we can help so many Organics and Synthetics! Wow....it's just so...so....amazing." she paused for a moment and smiled. "I think we should be heading to our assigned ships. Come on, let's go!"

Opium walked off into the direction where Sythe is.

Rasengod7 - January 20, 2008 08:59 PM (GMT)
All of the ships undocked with each other. They all began to move to towards the mass relay. All of the captains of each ship set their coordinates to Sentry Omega Cluster. The ships entered the relay and the next second ended up in the Sentry Omega Cluster. Now they were headed to Vox.

Tsunami - January 20, 2008 09:04 PM (GMT)
Luke sent a message to Sythenus. "I don't think I ever told you about my sister, did I?"

Leo XV - January 20, 2008 10:02 PM (GMT)
On Leo's ship Leo was handing equipment to Gen "I was able to get you a specter class shotgun and a pulse rifle, it should make it easier on this mission" he told Gen.
"So basicly at your signal, we start killing Geth?" Gen asked.
"Pretty much" Leo XV said.

xp194 - January 20, 2008 11:03 PM (GMT)
on board the Eventide, xp194 pulled out his Punisher sniper rifle, and tested the scope and reload, making sure everything was in working condition. He activated and ran a diagnostic on his Nexus omni-tool, and finally, checked his Avalanche pistol. After confirming everything was in working order, he swapped the barrels for ons constructed of frictionless materials, and changed the ammo to armour piercing rounds. When he had contented himself with their preformance, he returned them to their 'packed' forms, slung them on his back, and walked up to the cockpit. The Eventide was far more sophisticated then the Independance ever would be, seeing as it was a purpose built starship, rather than a pile of junk held together by duct-tape and quite a few prayers. Xp194 sat down in the co-pilots seat, placed his hand on the dash, and transferred his conciousness into the ships computer systems. After a while of observing, xp194 returned to his body.

"I'm impressed. This is one helluva ship."

Rasengod7 - January 21, 2008 05:51 PM (GMT)
The three ships finally reached Vox. The Crimson's VI began to scan each of the planets to see which one is Estrire. After another few seconds of searching Estrire was located. The ships moved towards the planet. The Crimson positioned itself somewhere out of range of scanners.

"The Crimson will stay back for this. The Crimson is not a stealth ship. I will have the Crimson give support. I'm sending Luke to the Omega for now. If you guys run into trouble I'll come in. Sythenus is the leader now. Good Luck!" Kaleb ordered.

Rasengod7 - January 21, 2008 06:47 PM (GMT)
Kaleb began to scan the system again. He checked for any signs of enemy ships. Kaleb detected one ship on the planet. From the readings the ship was a geth cruiser. He activated the Crimson's weapon systems. He wasn't going to foolishly attack the ship. He was preparing for the worst case scenario. If he was detected or any of the other ships were detected they would be screwed.

Kaleb tried to send a message to the others about the geth ship, but the geth seemed to have blocked any long range communications. He wouldn't be able to give them status reports. Kaleb began to pace. All of his experience had taught him not to panic. He had to think rationally. He could either attack the geth cruiser possibly getting killed in the process or he could go on the ground and try to alert the others. There was also the possibility of luring the geth cruiser.

Kaleb went to the controls and set the ship to manual control. He charged up the engines hoping to attract the cruiser. He wouldn't fight it, but he could get it away from the planet so that the others could complete their mission with less challenges.

Rasengod7 - January 21, 2008 07:28 PM (GMT)
The bait worked. The geth crusier left the planet to see what caused a disturbance. The Crimson went into another planet's atmosphere and stayed there. The geth cruiser was nearing that planet. The VI on board the ship came up with a plan. The Crimson would use the planet's gravitational forces to sling shot to another planet. If timed correctly Kaleb could drop off in a pod to Estrire. The Crimson would continue to sling shot hopefully distracting the geth cruiser long enough for the mission to be completed.

The geth cruiser got closer and eventually spotted the red ship. It fired several missiles and deployed a squadron of fighters. Due to the communications jammer the ship couldn't warn the geth on Estrire. The Crimson went around the planet and avoided the missiles. Kaleb got into the pod. The fighters closed in on the ship. The geth cruiser went in front of the Crimson. The ship was surrounded. The Crimson's engines flared and the ship began to accelerate. The gravitational forces began to accelerate the ship even more, but the ship was starting to burn up. The hull was beginning to melt. The Crimson narrowly avoided the geth cruiser. The ship went around for another turn. The Crimson fired its gardian lasers tearing apart several fighters. The remaining fighters returned fire. The geth cruiser tried to chase the Crimson.

The Crimson started to push away from the planet when it neared the end of its second turn. The ship completely pulled away and was flung towards the other side of the system. The geth cruiser began to follow along with the fighters.

A pod ejected from the Crimson when the ship passed near Estrire. The pod entered the atmosphere and eventually crashed in a river. Kaleb rushed out of the pod and made it ashore. He took a moment to catch his breath and then he started to search for the others.

xp194 - January 21, 2008 07:37 PM (GMT)
"Syth, I'm ready to go when you are!" called xp194. He kept thinking about airdefenses, and the fact that the longer they stayed in the air, the more likely it was they'd get shot down.

Ever since the accident, He hadn't heard the chattering of the neural network. Even now, with the geth so close, he didn't hear anything. Something was trying to get through, but was only getting through as a low static, as irritating as a fly buzzing around a room.

It was getting really irritating, so he initiated an emotional purge, the robotic equivelent of taking deep breaths.

"Syth? Why don't we use radar to find a landing zone. We're as good as sitting ducks here."

Leo XV - January 21, 2008 10:03 PM (GMT)
Leo XV heard xp's message, he was concerned, this was too easy so far.

Tsunami - January 21, 2008 10:36 PM (GMT)
Luke responded to the message "There's a shore, not to far from the base. I think Kaleb is over there so that's where I'm going to land." Luke flew to the shore he had spotted Kaleb and began to land.

Vasto Duval - January 22, 2008 01:03 AM (GMT)
As Vasti had taken a seat, Sythenus had stood up, taking his place before the projection platform at the center of the room and began his speech, essentially telling them everything they needed to know. The rather complex information Sythenus was giving to them on the cure for the indoctrination wasn't really what Vasto was concerned about though. The Dragon's Teeth was the one thing responsible for transforming both living and dead organics into mindless killing machines known as Husks. It never occured to him that these Dragon's Teeth would be so vital to curing the indoctrination and even though he had seen these on several different campaigns and missions, there was currently only one location known to them where this Geth technology would be. Naturally, it was on a Geth controlled planet, otherwise Vasto wouldn't be tagging along with such a group.

Sythenus then went on giving the mission details. There would be three teams and three ships with Vasto on Leo XV's ship but since he was the one with military experience and was highest ranked of them all, he would be leading the team down on the planet. Once on planet the three ground teams would rendezvous at a specified point.

Easier said than done, Vasto thought as the meeting was adjourned. When it came down to it though, this was the case for all operations of the sort. Yet there something more to this mission as Vasto had an uneasy feeling, the same uneasy feeling he had thirteen years ago back on Junthor when things turned to hell when nearly half the forces they brought there to take the system didn't survive.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Vasto had made his way quickly onboard Leo's ship to ensure he was well prepared for the mission to come and also to get a good feel for Leo's ship and his fair sized crew which consisted of many of the Citidel races, though only one of them would join him and Leo on Estrire to help secure the secrecy of the mission. This Krogan, Honus Gen, the crew member joining the mission, looked much younger than the majority of Krogan but Vasto knew better than to judge him based on his age. Any Krogan, with or without much combat experience was more than capable of holding their ground in a fight, if it ever came down to that during this mission. Relying on him for stealth, though? That was out of the question, but Vasto would need to work around that.

Making himself at home once again in the medical bay, Vasto laid out his weapons, armor and equipment, mostly cleaning and inspecting them. However, his helmets tactical display would need a little tweaking as not all Geth were enemies. Then unpacking his combat armor, the Silverback VIII model which offered a fairly balanced protection when it came to shielding and damage protection, he slipped it on and made sure it was all skin tight and everything was in place.

Lastly, his weapons, which all came from the same Alliance company, Rosenkov Materials, were laid out on the bed before him. Never had he not gone into a mission without all four of the weapons, the Kovalyov Assault Rifle, the Sokolov Shotgun, the Karpov Pistol, and the Volkov Sniper Rifle. This mission was no acception as each weapon would play a crucial role, hence why he decided to have extensive training in all armaments, though not exactly specializing in one particular weapons use.

By the time Vasto had fully equiped himself, the three ships had passed into the Vox System where they were nearing the surface of Estrire which turned out to be a planet covered by a vast jungle with a few large bodies of water here and there. The jungle itself made it all much easier the infiltrate this Geth base, but the closer they got to the base, the more patrols there would be.

Vasto made his way into the cockpit of the GSF Omega where he found both Leo XV and Honus. "Just a few things before we touch down on Estrire," he said, approaching them. "First, and most important, do not shoot unless you are shot at first or spotted. It's vital that we remain in hiding, otherwise the mission could be easily comprimised. Second, I want comm silence unless we are contacted by either Sythenus or Kaleb who we will be recieving further orders from. Finally, all that I require from you two is to follow my lead and stick together and be prepared for anything."

The Staff Sergeant went silent after that. He knew there really wasn't much else he could say that they hadn't already heard. All they needed to do now was to focus on the mission ahead of them.

Leo XV - January 22, 2008 02:00 AM (GMT)
"Yes sir" Leo XV said.
"You dont need to worry, I spent years hunting these things, shouldnt be to har to be stealthy" Gen said.

Opium - January 22, 2008 02:12 AM (GMT)
Opium looked out the window. "look at all that greenery!" she thought. She looked back at the other two geth. She wondered how they were feeling right at this moment.

She forgot, for a moment, that they were synthetics and don't have any feelings. So she asked them quickly, "Is anyone of you scared? I mean, what if we mess up? Uh...not that we will, but...It's still possible." Opium paused for a second. She looked at them for a while.

"I won't be scared if you two aren't. And don't worry. I'm still willing to do this!"
