Kane looked over the galaxy map in front of him, he looked over it watching the Geth vessels grow closer to the Citidel, "the time is near" he said to himself. He turned around and made his way towards a large wall, two guards were standing by, they looked up and stood up a held there guns up as he walked by, Kane stood in front of the large wall as it began to open up.

Inside was a long platform; on both sides were a large numbers of computers with people in black uniforms walking around the long walkway. At the end of the walkway was a round platform with a desk and a chair, behind it was a large computer screen.

Kane took a seat, he turned around and the computer screen lit up, on screen was the Citidel.

He rubbed his chin "my time is near".

Nero had gotten a call after his mission on Feros, he done well to get the data Kane needed. He made his way pass the large steel door and up to Kane's desk, he stood still in front of it, "you wanted to see me Kane?" he said.

"yes" said Kane as he turned back around, "I want you to look at this" Kane began to type on his computer that was laying on his desk, just then a news cast came on the large screen behind him, "this is the Terra Firma, they are a very Racist organization" said Kane as he turned his head towards the screen, "I'm sure you've heard of them."

"They believe that the humans need to stand alone if they are to remain strong" said Nero "but their just a bunch of Racist bastards"

"yes that may be" said Kane as he leaned on his desk "but they have been know to be very violent" Kane typed on his computer, on screen it showed to humans holding down a Turian kicking and punching him.

"I'll kill them for you" a look of anger came across Nero's face.

"wait, there is something I wanted to give you" said Kane, just as he finshed a large dark figure stood behind Nero, he quickly turned around and looked up at the six foot robot that was looking back at him with red eyes.

"This is RP7-92" said Kane "he was once your farthers personal guard"

Nero walked around the robot checking out the its massive size. "can he hold his own?" said Nero as he looked at the upgraded mining lazer on the robots arm

"statement: This one can hold his own, meatbag" said RP7

"oh yes, RP7 is a Synthetic being" Said Kane as he got up and walked over to Nero, "him and five of my best men will be joining you own this mission"

"well he's a smart ass one, I give him that" said Nero

"I just want you to known that the Alliance hired us for this mission as well as the New Dawn."

"Don't worry Kane, I will not fail you" said Nero

"Just remmeber that since we are helping the Alliance, they way think of us as an ally witch will grow me closer to getting a seat in the council" said Kane as Nero walked out the door.

Commander Isaac Shock paced back and forth inside of the Liandri Headquarters.

"The turian... Nero... seems agreeable enough to me, Coal," Isaac said to the worried soldier.

"Maybe he seems like it, but can you really trust him?" Jacob Coal asked, crossing his arms. "He's a spectre. Spectres are trouble. I've never met a spectre who wasn't a pain in humanity's ass."

"Humanity itself is a pain in the ass," Isaac told the soldier. "Some species think of us as bullies. I'd like to think I'm not like those damn kids I once grew up with in the neighborhood way back in the day. Just learn to trust other species."

"Race has nothing to do with it," Coal began. "It's his Spectre status I'm worried about."

Isaac shook his head. So much to learn... Isaac thought to himself. He could trust Nero, he knew that. Nero has done a lot of good things for Isaac, and deserved no mistrust whatsoever. He couldn't see what was worrying Coal so much.

"All right. Maybe we can trust the turian. But what about Kane?" Coal asked again, no sign of dimming his inquisitive nature down a bit.

"We have no choice but to trust him. He took us under his wing. Don't forget that." Isaac was losing his patience. He walked to his private quarters and decided it was time for a good night's sleep, hoping that the young Flame Trooper would leave him alone long enough to actually get some shut-eye.

Kane was watching the small conversation on his computer screen, "But what about Kane? no sign of dimming his inquisitive nature down a bit."

The door to Isaac's quarters opened, standing in the doorway was Kane. He looked over at Isaac sitting on his bed, "Isaac, its good to see your still awake" said Kane "do you mind if I ask you something?"

Isaac looked up at Kane with no hint of surprise whatsoever. He had a knack of knowing whenever something bad was going to happen.

"Go ahead, sir. What is it?" Isaac asked, polishing his visor.

Kane walked over to a window that was shaded to keep out the planets harsh rays, "Have you heard of the Terri Firma? They lead an attack on the Citidel" Kane put his hands behind his back and looked at Isaac

"I know you hate the Alliance, but right now they are allies and they need are help".

"Those assholes..." Isaac muttered, under his breath. "Yeah, I know them. A bunch of uptight humans who have turned to violence to get their 'point' across, correct?"

Isaac crossed his arms. "Please tell me you're sending me to hurt some of them... uh, sir."

"Oh good" said Kane out of suprise "because I am sending you to take care of terra Firma" Kane walked back towards the window "I'm sending you and your team to the Citidel, Nero and Dante are already there".

Kane contiuned to look out the window "but I am unsure about your friend"

"My friend?" Commander Isaac asked, scratching the top of his helmet. "Oh, you mean Coal? You heard us talk?" Isaac began to show concern with his voice.

"Coal's a little confused about this, but he'll get over it," Isaac began. "I have a pretty good influence over him. I'll try setting him straight, sir."

Isaac began to pace back and fourth inside of his quarters. "Kane... please trust me on this. Coal's a good soldier. He won't cause you any more problems."

Isaac sighed. "I get to work with the Spectre?" He asked, seemingly forgetting about the Coal dilemma. "I think me and him will get along fine, sir... but what about this Dante guy? I don't know much about him..."

"No, Nero is on a mission with Dante near earth, Terra Firma has spread all over the system" Kane put his hands back behind his back "Instead I'm sending your team to help out Malcolm on the Citidel"

"Your ship will leave when your ready" said Kane "now if you excuse me I must be going"

"Okay, Kane," Isaac mumbled. "I'll take care of it, sir."

Isaac was anxious to leave the Liandri Headquarters. It felt like he was there for too long of a time. He quickly stormed out of his private quarters and headed into the Liandri fleet ship Deadly Serenity.

Where is everybody else? Isaac thought. Then, sure enough, the rest of his team marched formally into the ship.

"Oh yeah, it's time to SPLIT!" the bald marine with the goggles shouted, leaving Isaac confused and uncomfortable.

Jarulek just skulked by, not saying anything but a simple grunt while walking beside Isaac.

"Hey..." Coal began, in an uncertain voice. "Did that Kane tell you anything else besides the debriefing?"

"Stop being so paranoid..." Isaac told the worried marine. "Let's just get our mission over with. It's not like we're doing more than taking out some damn Terra Firma members."

Of course, he was wrong.

The Longsword made its way into dock, Issac and the rest of the team made their way out of the Longsword, "I don't like the idea of runing away like that" said Nero "I must go back and see if I can help"

"You can tell Kane about what happen, but I don't think he'll be pleased" Nero crossed his arms RP7 walked up behind him "RP7 will acompany you for now on Issac, it would be best if I went back alone"

"Statement: I don't like the idea of going with this meatbag....but if that is what you want"

Becareful out there Issac I hope we meet agin" Nero turned around and walked back to his ship.

"Farewell, Nero," Isaac said, saluting at his turian comrade. He then turned to RP7. "I understand you don't like us organics, but that won't get in the way of the mission, right?"

Cortez walked to the side of RP7 and crossed his arms. "He won't be a problem. Isn't that right, Tinman?" Cortez asked the synthetic soldier.

"Statement: If you say that one more time my metal boot will go straight up your ass," RP7 replied.

"Fair enough," Isaac said, nodding approvingly. "I still have business to take care of."

Isaac left the rest of his squad in the room and went into Kane's office. "Kane, sir? We couldn't get to the Terra Firma... we were attacked by the damn geth and had to evacuate. But the bad news doesn't stop there," Isaac paused.

"Cortez kinda crashed the Deadly Serenity, sir... and Jarulek is dead."

"I see" said Kane as he leaned forward in his chair, "I did get reports on Geth making their way towards the Citidel, but you were gone before I could tell you"

Isaac nodded solemnly. "I don't like soldiers dying on me, but I know that I still have orders that need to be carried out... What do I need to do now?" Isaac asked.

"Do what you wish from now" said Kane as he threw up his hand in carelessness "I'll call you when I need you" Kane then turned and looked at Dante "as for you Dante I'm sending you on a mission, I'll send you the data"

"Yes sir" Dante turned to Issac "It was great working with you commander" Dante then gave Issac a nod and walked out of the room.

Isaac nodded back in acknowledgment, and walked out of the room as well. He sat down on a bench next to his Omega squad mates and sighed. He wondered if this was a break or Kane just pointing out how worthless he is. He did abort the mission after all, although the geth had severely complicated things for all of the Liandri forces at the Citadel. He just figured that Kane wasn't the kind of guy who gave second chances.

But maybe he was wrong. He certainly hoped he was.

While he was lost in thought, his communicator began to go off. He held it to his ear, puzzled.

"Isaac? Isaac Shock?" the frantic voice on the other side said.

"Who is this, and what do you want?" Isaac shot back, coldly.

"We found out where you are..." the other voice said, in a tone that sounded of Hellish nature. "This is Rear Admiral Bryant. Are you going to come to us or are we going to come to you?"

Isaac's eyes widened in panic. He knew his actions in that Alliance base would come back to bite him on the ass. He quickly turned the receiver off and for the first time was grateful that his could rewind what the caller said into it. He swiftly stormed off into Kane's office and give him the communicator.

"Kane, you need to listen to this..."

"This is Rear Admiral Bryant. Are you going to come to us or are we going to come to you?" It said over the recored

"Ah" said Kane as he made a smile "it seems that the Alliance are after you Issac" Kane pushed a button on his desk "open a com channel on the Alliance Dreadnought" he said into the speaker, he turned back to Issac "you may want to get ready I'll contact you when I need you"

"Yes sir," Isaac nodded. He quickly ran out the office and into the room where all of his other squad mates were sitting.

"Men, you need to come with me. Some Alliance goons are out to get me, and me staying here endangers the whole Liandri team!" Isaac shouted, nervously.

"Understood!" Cortez and Coal shouted.

"Statement: Whatever," was RP7's response.

They all sprinted to the docking bay and boarded the Liandri ship Bishop before flying away, leaving Liandri HQ far behind them.

Isaac made sure that Cortez wasn't piloting this time.
