Making the Citadel council is sorta a big deal shouldn't we all get a chance to go for the spots?

Yeah, and we all do. Like he said, anyone can take them, so long as you RP them in a way that makes sense, but really none of the characters everyone already has have a chance to take the spots.

How far ahead are we in the timeine anyway? besides humans are part of the council in one of the possible endings of the game...it would be possible the volus finally made their way into the council finally. If we can create a plethora of independant geth I can create a volus council member with the appropriate bio info.

I'd recommend reading the "Timeline" and the "Story So Far..." in the Story board.

To be a member of the Council you have to be able to supply military power, economic power and you need a stable government. The volus do not have military power. The humans are viable candidates, but everyone fears them.

ok well I suggest that we hold a little tourny in which a member enters a candidate for the citadel council to be used by everyone. That way we can get the best three that everyone can agree on. I feel that if we need to create these guys we might as well get the best we can with much more indepth information on these characters

I'm not seeing the problem here. Yarik created a council and there were no issues. I'm just making it known that there is a new Council for anyone to use.

And they're really just there for trials and such. Hell, we didn't even know the names of the original councilors in the game yet alone their background.

ya well I just think these guys are too important to just let anyone create a few guys then say its the council. plus in the game you couldn't control the council directly like we can do here.

Well I guess anyone can control them if we create a council.
So are we saying these "councils" are just temporary? not even going to last long? well I find that kinda rediculous we should create a permanent one...with a human in it for Deltas enjoyment, and maybe a volus one for my enjoyment because the volus like the japanese are economcally powerful not militarily but that can always change if they tried.

Damn I feel like an asshole arguing but I'm in a panic here. I think Katarn can go ahead with his council "member" but not all the members. I'd prefer the council be made on the entries of the people and then voted on by all the members then go with that and everyone will have access to that for temporary use and in that path I see everyone being happy.

Yeah, the council is to much of an influential force for one member to make. We should have the whole site help make the new council, and either make them controllable by everyone, or give the character to the best RPers

We need a mod to start a thread for entries and set a date for registry to close on this...and with the right bio and such yes delta we got a human council member. The idea is all viable as long as we're done here ;) .

I'm trying to make a story where Kane is trying to get a seat on the Council as the first human, but I should talk to Rasen about it.

Doubt that the Council would let a mercenary leader on the council....

Yea thats why I want to talk to Rasen about it, but it would be a cool idea to point the story in.

I doubt that would fly but I'd love to read a thread on him attempting to put his name in for a council spot his candidacy would be a political uproar.

What about the struggle of the Volus to gain a council seat? my character will probably be fighting for a spot sooner or later, either to stunning success or humorous defeat. either way, i think it would be entertaining.

Yeah. I understand your concerns, Dominion, but as Katarn said, this is a temporary Council anyways. We can do that when everything we've got going on is done. Just put something up in Plot Development about it so people can sign-up and whatnot.

We already have a new council, only Katarn doesnt get on often so our Turian one is not active. Athenas Asari counciler is a NPC now also. I have the Human Counciler, and Blitz has control of the Salarian Counciler
