The Systems Alliance vessel, the SSV Fracture, orbited around a small uncharted world. On that world, was Fracture's CO, Nicholas Briggs and two other marines who served on the vessel, Serviceman 3rd Class, Brooke Harvet, and Service Chief, David McCrummen. They both carried a large mineral back to the M35 Mako, where Nicholas was standing. "Comm...ander...sir! We...fou...nd...this!" David said, struggling to hold the mineral since it was huge and abit heavy. Once they reached Nicholas, the mineral dropped down infront of them. Nicholas bent down as he ran his hand among the surface. His fingers took off some of the mineral as he held it close to his eyes.

"Hmm...." Nicholas pondered, "Can you identify it, sir?" Brooke asked. The Commander rolled his eyes as he growled abit, "Sulpur, already identified." The Commander stood as he walked toward the Mako. Placing his hand on his communication device he spoke, "Sarah, we're done here, bring the Fracture on my position." Sarah, the pilot of Fracture nodded her head to the message, "Aye, Commander, be there in 5." The Commander turned and looked to his crew. Brooke spoke, "All of these worlds seem dry." David responded, "Maybe we need to go behind this cluster." Sarah angrily looked at David, "And into where!? Geth territory?" David responded, "Well, it is better than here!"

The Commander looked to the sky, seeing Fracture coming. Looking back down to the two crew members he led, he growled, "Enough! Get inside the Mako and prepare to enter the hanger." Brooke and David nodded, "Yes sir...Commander." They done what they were told, and soon the Mako was back into the bay and the vessel ascended into space once more. Later on, Nicholas was on the computer in his bedroom until he heard Sarah on the comm..."Umm...Commander, we have a problem. It seems the Citadel is under attack." Nicholas's eyes looked directly to the intercom, "What kind of attack, Sarah!?" Sarah responded, "Well...it is unclear sir, want me to steer toward the Citadel?" Nicholas risen from his seat as he began to storm out of his room, "On the double, Sarah!" Sarah agreed.

Sarah, then steered toward the mass relay that led to the Serpent Nebula.

David had fallen asleep on the fairly long jump to whever they were, the man who was taking him to his new 'Cult' was still wide awake, playing around with the controls, once again to the dislike of David. David looked out of the window, he could see a planet he knew was in the Artamus Tao Cluster, why were they here?

The ship swerved left, the thrusters were still online, making them speed up as they headed toward a moon. David didn't know why they we're here, the base of operations for the Death's Children must have been somewere nearby. They avoided the moon, keeping to the side of the small rock compared to its giant planet. David immediatly knew why they we're here, a large ship was completly still, hiding behind the moon. It was barely noticable unless you we're up close. A perfect hiding place for a hidden cult. They decended towards it's docking bay, slowing down as they entered, the large bay doors closing behind them. The man brought the ship down softly and opened the cockpit, allowing David to walk out first. The ship was remarkably large for such a small cult, there couldn't of been over two hundred members, yet they could operate the ship with ease. The man jumped out of the cockpit and put his hand on David's shoulder, pulling him around to face him.

"Don't wander, stick with me. My names Jonas by the way."

David was pleased he finally knew the strange mans name, it was starting to annoy him.

"Ok, lead on."

David stood there waiting for the man to start moving, examining the large docking bay with strange ships landed all around them, some seriously armed for combat, others like his made for speed. They walked down the railing that leveled the docking bay with the rest of the ship, they came to a door wich slid open, revealing a fairly dark room. There we're two armed people inside, they both raised their guns at the site of David. Jonas put his hand up and they stood back against the wall, allowing them to pass through. They continued walking past guards and going through various doors until they came to a large room with people having the armour that everyone in this Cult wore being placed on them. Jonas stopped and walked over to a machine, he placed his hand on a panel and a hologram appeared listing various names. He put in David's name and it was added to the strange glowing list. Jonas turned around to speak.

"You need to get you're armour on, meet me through this next door once they are done putting it on."

Jonas walked out of the room and a Cult member took him over to a machine, David walked in. Wondering what the large thing did.

The machine door closed, it was hot inside. Mechanical arms inside the machine started moving and grabbing bits of armour. Two arms grabbed David's arms, pulling them up. David had left his jacket on a table outside, his normal clothes we're stil on him. Two more arms swooped over and placed hot metal armour on his skin, it seared like nothing he had felt before, it was as if the armour was inside his skin, burning the outside from in. The machine continued putting the armour on his body, keeping him still with the two mechanical arms holding him down. His legs and arms had been covered with the searing metal, it only burned when first touched by it though. David stood there, the last two arms came along and placed a large torso armour on his skin, it burned like always and then faded away into a numbing feeling on his skin. The last part of the armour was placed on his back, he stepped out of the machine, expecting to not be able to move. It was remarkably easy to move any part of his body, he looked at the shining black armour that was like a second skin. He stood straight and walked out of the room, leaving his jacket on the table.

Jonas was sitting at a table waitiing, he had the exact same armour on as David did. David felt like playing around with it a little, he pushed a button on the side of the armour, wich caused a helmet to flip up over his head and face, it was cool inside. Much cooler then the ship. He left it on, feeling the cool air on his face.

"Good. Now, lets start you're training."

David followed Jonas into a large, dark room. There we're alot of them on this ship.

David watched as two creatured we're let inside the room for Jonas to fight, he lifted his arm into the air and one of the creatures rose, it seemed to know what was going to happen. The Creature howled in pain and blood squirted from its limbs. It writhered and screamed until it was thrown into the wall at the back of the room. The other creature simply looked at the man, backing away slowly. It's fate was sealed, there was nothing it could do. The man lifted his arm once again and the creature stood on its two legs, still as stone. Jonas pulled out his pistol and fired three times at the creature as it stood still. Jonas lowed his pistol, looking at the beast as it fell to the floor bleeding out of three holes in its chest. David didn't know what had heppend, he had never even thought that Biotics like this existed, let alone we're trained in a cult. He stood up and walked over the first dead creature, he kicked its leg, watching the beast carefully unless it moved.

"It's Dead."

Jonas had called it out from the other side of the room as he walked towards David.

"I broke every bone in it's body with my hand. Wraw power. Simply power."

David didn't like this place, it was strange. He needed to leave, get out of this cult. It was too dark. Jonas walked up to David and placed his hand on his shoulder. David reacted quickly, it was his chance now. He grabbed the arm and twisted it sideways, Jonas pushed his hand into David's chest, causing him to fly backwards. David pulled out his pistol and fired at the man, who created a Biotic shield wich took the bullet. David sprinted at the man, who was still behind his shield. David lifted his hand and pulled the man towards him, sending him through the air with Biotic Pull. Jonas hit the ground at David's feet and started getting up, David kicked the man in the face, drawing his pistol at the same time. The man was trying to get up, blood dripping out of his nose. David rushed over and pushed him down to the ground, placing the gun to the side of the mans head.

"Get me out of here. Now."

David looked at the man, smiling. He was suddenly pushed backwards, flying through the air until he had slammed into the wall. He had been hit by Biotic Push. David got up and pushed his hand into the air, causing the man to rise into the air with Biotic Lift, he kept his hand there. Slowly clenching his fingers.. the man pifted his own hand, causing David to feel a sharp pain in his leg. He clenched his fist, causing Jonas to howl in pain. David threw his fist left, sending the man into the nearby wall. Jonas fell to the floor, blood pouring out the top of his head. He had to be dead.

David got up on his sore leg, limping to the door. He place his hand on the control panel, opening the door and walked out into the hallway, two guards came walking down and raised their weapons at David drawn one. He sent a Biotic Shield infront of him and kneeled down behind it, firing at the guards as they took cover behind corners at the end of the hallway. A bullet shot through one of the guards legs, causing him to drop to the floor, still firing. David fired another shot, it ripped into the downed guards chest, killing him instantly. He pointed his weapon at the next Guard, who had an Assult Rifle out. He fired once, sending a bullet through the mans head, spraying blood all over the wall next to him. David got up, still limping. He pulled his hand up as two more Guards walked around the corner, pushing them back into a wall, taking them both unconcious. Three more guards came from the other direction. David put down another Biotic Shield and shot over the top, he killed one man with a single bullet, right through the neck. He reached down into his belt and grabbed a grenaid, throwing it in the direction of the two guards left. It exploded, sending them down the next hallway in a ball of fire. He got up and wlaked down the next hallway, hoping that that was all of the bastards.

David limped in pain, it was just barable.. he needed to get out of this place. Now. He heard running and ducked left, into another hallway, he stood there, not breathing, leaning against the wall to ease the burden on his leg. Two guards came rushing past, David could feel the air speeding off them and hitting his sweaty face. It was cool. He moved towards the way the guards had come from, he turned around, someone was standing there.. staring at him. He pulled up his pistol, only to have it sent out of his hands. He lifted his hand, trying to push the figure away, it simply lifted its own hand and absorbed the biotics. David stood there, watching as the figure slowly moved towards him, his heart seemed to stop, he couldn't move. He lifted his hand, looking at the figure that was still walking towards him, bare feet and raggy clothing, long black hair covering its face. He couldn't make out who or what it was. He lifted his arm and clenched his fist, sending a shockwave towards the figure, it looked up, red eyes were staring back at David, his spine tingled as shivers flew down his back. He was completly stunned in fear, he didn't know why.. he couldn't move no matter what he did. The figure moved towards him, gripped his neck and sent him flying into a wall behind him. He opened his eyes, he was on the floor, blood dripping out of his nose. His pistol was beside him, he grabbed it and stood up, looking around the corridore for the figure, it was gone. He walked down the hallway slowly, checking each corridore for the figure. It was as if it had dissapeared completly. He continued on his route back to his ship. He came to the docking bay, there were two bodies on the floor and the lights were flickering, David loaded his pistol and walked towards his ship.. it was ere, nothing was moving, nothing was making any noise besides his feet. He felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder, blood squirted out of the hole that was now inside his arm, he turned around and fired blankly, sending the bullet towards a man standing there with his pistol raised, the mans hand flew up a little as another loud crack erupted from the hole, speeding towards david and slamming into his heart, he dropped to the floor as his blood spewed out onto his armour. He looked up, the man was standing there. It was Jonas.

"I Never lose.."

Jonas' words left his mouth like ice against Davids ears, he tried to raise his pistol, he couldnt. He was drained. Jacod raised his gun.

"Goodbye David."

Everything wen't black, David was swirling in darkness. There was nothing, but there was everything. A light erupted in his eyes, he walked towards it. He dissapeared, everything was fine. He was safe. The troubles of life vanishing away before his eyes. He was happy now. At peace.
