A collection of doctors and scientists dedicated to genetic manipulation, bioengineering, and man other practices that the counsel finds to be "unnatural".

There are very few rules to this group, and very few members. They meet once a year to exchange findings and establish where each will be working out of. No two members may work on their illegal projects in the same sector, though they may practice normal work in the same room if they wish. This policy has been unusually effective, ensuring that even if one gets caught their work will not go with them, and there have even been times in which one gets caught and because his work is continued by another in the same sector they have to be let go.

While they have to meet once a year, many of the members choose to stay in frequent contact with each other, coordinating experiments so that finding them would be very difficult indeed.

There is no established rank structure apart from how long they have been a member and what they have contributed to the cause, making it impossible to cut off a chain of command.

Trappers

Trappers are a group of beings that assist Funesto Dues. Each member of the Trappers are responsible to finding interesting specimens for the researchers to do with as they please.

The Trappers are responsible for arming themselves, so their weapons are often quite different. Most trappers are loyal to one doctor and work exclusively for them, however there are a few which harvest rare species and subjects, subsequently selling them to the doctor that will pay the most.

Among the Trappers there are several given the title "Black". What sets these apart from the others is that there is no record of them anywhere in the galaxy except with the doctors. There are some rumors that they are not naturally born, that the greatest doctors made them to exist solely for hunting, however most consider these to be just rumors.
