Biography:

Michael Hale was born in the ever growing city of Baton Rouge to an ex-marine and an ex-naval pilot. Being raised in a military family did help his choice in career but it was mostly because he felt that he had no purpose. That all changed when he was the age of six. On Michael's sixth birthday an Alliance Marine Corp promotional video was playing in his living room and he knew where he would end up.

Michael spent his years from then on focusing on keeping decent grades and trying to stay in shape. After High School Michael spent the three following years learning from his father about the Marine Corp. Once he felt he had learned enough, he signed the papers and went through boot camp.

After boot camp he was stationed on New Eden Prime and suffered three laser wounds. He received the injuries in the first few days of the assault, earning him a ticket to the Citadel where he could get some R&R.

After a month of R&R, Michael was left without unit, orders, or hope of revenge.

His equipment of choice was a Tsunami VI assault rifle and Scorpian VII armor. He hardly ever carried a pistol around, and often referred to it as "dead weight."

From what i understand the major countries created the systems alliance, so i don't think that every single country dissolved. I think in the codex it mentioned that there were still countries on earth...

And im assuming there is a US, since the US is just so awesome : P
