Olivia didn't recall much about her trip to the Quarian Flotilla. The last thing she remembered was seeing a Quarian on the Outer Rim. She had fallen down in front of the Quarian, crippled with pain, due to a plasma round to her back. Before that, she remembered how her crew of 6 had turned on her. They had been on assignment in the Outer Rims. They had successfully uploaded an Alliance-created virus into a Geth mainframe, and they had also successfully spread a nanobot plague designed specifically for the Geth. Before her team turned on her, Olivia had witnessed an entire Geth city slowly shutting down... all thanks to her and her father's work.

But why had her team turned on her? Oh yes, Olivia remembered... before they had entered Geth space they had fled the Citadel. The Citadel had been under siege. Olivia's first ship, the Plague, had attempted to flee the chaos of the siege when a wave of Geth ships put her vessel out of commission. So, Olivia captured an Alliance medical ship that was stationed in the docking bay. It was the only working ship left in the bay. Olivia had to kill several of her own people to get it. Getting to Geth space was more important than their lives. She had to spread the nanobots. She had to upload the virus. It could wipe out the Geth and bring an end to their wretched existence. But as she gunned down the medical ship's nurses, she didn't stop to ask her crew if they approved. She forced them to react. She forced them to fire back. She forced them to come along. They might not have minded doing what they did if the medical ship hadn't been full of wounded Alliance soldiers. Some died on the way to Geth space. The rest died because her crew killed them in order to remove evidence of what they had done. Olivia had not ordered them to do that. Both sides had done wrong. If she survived this wound in her back... Olivia was going to make damn sure she got each one of them back for abandoning her on a Geth world.

Inside the Flotilla, Olivia had been presented as a gift to one of the ship's captain. The Quarian that had saved her figured she would make a good gift because if Olivia was patched up and returned to her people it would act as a good PR stunt for the Quarians, who could use all the positive diplomacy they could get. Secure inside a sterile room with several Quarians around her in full suits, Olivia opened her eyes for the first time and looked up at the ceiling. What she saw was unimpressive. It looked like she was inside somekind of abandoned warehouse. Suffice to say, this was the medical wing of the ship.
