"This is Jacinte 21 requesting permision to land, please respond."

James sat at the computer of the ship he and his three other crew members had bought back on the Citadel a few weeks ago, he knew it was a piece of crap, it was better then nothing though.

"Roger Jacinte 21, you are cleared to land at Pad 214, Port Hanshan is under mantainance, sorry for any inconvenience."

James sighed, they would have to find another way to Port Hanshan once they were on the surface. He sped towards the surface, pushing buttons on the computer to make the ship land at the Landing Pad they had been told to head to.

"How's our 'Cargo' doing?" James shouted from the control seat, his wife and co-worker, Jane, was in the Cargo hold with her brother Dale. You could say that James had a family buisness going.. although, most of the time they didn't treat each other like family.. work came first to them, get rich or die trying.

"Good, I think. I don't really know how these things look when they're good.. they look ugly to me no-matter how they look.."

She looked at the creature inside the acid-proof container that was used to capture most dangerous animals.. this one was no exeption.

James laughed a little from his wifes comment as they cleared the atmosphere, revealing the harsh and boring environment on Noveria.. James had never liked coming here.. he didn't like the cold. The ship hovered over the Landing pad wich was covered by a dome that opened to allow the ship landing space. James powered down the ship as it landed on the pad, the dome closed over them, lights flickered on around the dome, lihting the entire complex. There we're two other domes around the one they had landed in, big enough to hold a drednaught each. All of the domes we're connected by tunnels that met up in the main building, wich was significantly smalled then the domes. James and his crew walked towards one of the tunels, the box with the beast was on a fork-lift kind of thing that Dale was pushing, James didn't know what it was called, frankly he didnt care. They came to the end of the tunnel and the door slid open, revealing a room with three people inside, it seemed they we're the only people in this station.

"Ahhh.. you must have been transfered here by Port Hanshan. Eh, I don't like it any more then you do.. this is supposed to be a research station not a port."

The Scientist seemed pissed off, James didn't care. He would shoot this man if he had too.. it didn't bother him.

"Look, we need to go. Can we use a vehicle..?"

"Sorry, the blizzard outside is too thick, you'll have to stay here the night."

James pulled out his pistol and moved towards the scientist, raising it to the mans forehead.

"Listen carefully.. we are going weather you like it or not. Now, where's the door out of this place."

James kept the pistol at the mans head. Not moving, not blinking.

"You Don't understand!" The Scientist was shaking and shouting, he looked like he was about to cry. "The Vehicles here are programmed not to be used unless the wheather is clear!"

The Scientist was still shaking, he looked like he could pass out at any moment.

James lowered the gun, placing it back in its holster.

"Fine. Where are our rooms?"

Ten Hours Later

James awoke in the crews quarters they had stayed in through the night, Jane and Dale were still asleep.. the scientists seemed to have woken up early. He got up and got dressed, leaving Jane in the bedwith the covers over her body. He had a shower and got dressed, noticing Dale walking out of bed as James walked out the door, he moved down the corridore leading towards a empty landing pad, he walked towards the door, it slid open as he entered the room, it was pitch black, James couldn't see anything. He walked over to the light switch, he flicked it on, there were three bodies on the floor, they had all been stabbed through the heart with a large spike of some sort, James drew his pistol and walked towards the door, stepping through a puddle of blood, smearing it along the floor as he walked. The door slid open, the two containers that had contained the beasts they had brought for sale were ripped apart somehow. James stepped back, his pistol raised. He stood there, aiming at the containers. Something smashed in the room behind him, he turned around, a beaker was shattered on the floor. James moved inside the room, he turned left and looked towards a door that was half open, it had been forced in from the outside. He wlaked towards it, it slid open making a large grinding noise as the dented part scraped along the floor. James looked inside, it was black, something moved inside, James fired his pistol three times as the large beast that was now running towards him, he fired again missing as the creature ran towards him and pushed him sideways. The two Rachni was seeking revenge. They intended to do it. One raised its left barb and sent it downwards at the man piercing his neck, blood splattered over the wall as the man died. The Rachni walked off back into the room, it lay in the corner. Waiting for its next victim to come into the room..

Slowly the fresh blood ran down the hard blue and brown exoskeleton of the Rachni as it sat there in the corner of the dark room, its left bard, now drenched in think, red liquid, from its newest victim. It sat there, motionless, at if it where a fossil trapped in time, stuck in its position like a statue, only to be forever admired in a museum, but this creature wasn’t that, it was waiting…

It continued to wait patiently, for a few hours it sat there in the darkness, but nothing came, slowly the beast began to feel fatigued as it just sat there doing nothing. Slowly it rose quietly from its position and stood there. The cocked it’s bug like head around, until it finally began move around the room. Wondering, it began to examine its surroundings, it was curious, these things where new to it, this was really the first time the Rachni had a chance to examine what it was up against.

Carefully, it raised its barb up and pushed a small tray from the table to the floor with a crash, I watched with such curiosity as the tray grew silent once more, but the Rachni quickly lost interest and began to wonder a little farther away from the darkness of the room. It entered the next room slowly, turning its head side to said, watching for anything that might cause the creature harm. On the fare side of the room, the container that once held the beast prisoner stood there, smashed open from the inside. In the middle of the room was a fixed table with many fine, clear objects upon them. Hesitantly the creature raised its barb up and knocked a glass beaker off the table, with hit the ground with a smash, shattering into peaces.

Again the creature cocked its head as it watched what had just happened to the object, and again it shrugged it off, it continued on its quest through the room, avoiding the dead and rotting bodies of the Scientists and the one who had tried to kill it with its inferior thunder stick. It wandered around, examining almost everything, until it came to a door, right away it knew what it was, it was the why the humans exited and entered, It raised its barb up and hit it against the panel on the side, and instantly the door opened, reveling a new corridor for the Rachni to explore.

With a little hesitation the beast marched down the halls, peeking around each corner before fully exposing itself. It moved slowly, looking back periodically to see if it was being followed, but it wasn’t. Passing door after door, walking down hall after hall, it stopped at one door, and again raised its bard up to the control pad and hit it, and again the door instantly opened, and the beast walked in.

The room was dark and lifeless, but the Rachni still moved cautiously through to room. A sudden moment startled it, it quickly turned its head towards the lump on a bed that had suddenly moved, with its barbs raised it slowly advanced without making a sound, again object moved, and still the Rachni moved closer. When it was next to the object it slowly raised it bards up higher as it readied itself to strike. The Rachni was just about to bring its barbs down when the lump suddenly turned towards the creature to reveal the face of a sleeping Female Human. The monster stopped suddenly and examined the face, it didn’t recognizes the face, so it slowly retracted it barbs, turned around and left the room without as much as a single noise.

The shut behind the creature as it stood there in the hall. It looked to the left, then to the right, it didn’t know where to go, for a moment it stood there when it suddenly turned to the right and marched down the hall, it continued on its march, searching corridor to corridor for those who imprisoned it, who had hurt it…

After a while, the halls began to change, they grew wider and the doors began to disappear and windows began to take their place as the dominant figure in the plain, repeating, white halls. The hall suddenly turned to the right, and the beat rounded it, to find a very long, empty hall way, slowly it walked, peeking in all directions when suddenly, on the left side of the beast, windows took place of the walls to reveal a large room, filled with busy scientists, unaware of its presence. It starred down though the glass at the busy people.

Its eyes where fixed upon it’s new target, slowly it cocked its head to the left to watch down the rest off the hall way, again it continued to walk down it, trying to find a way down into the room. It followed the hall, as it turned to the right one more time, and beyond that corner was a door, the beast quickly bashed it barb on it and the door flew open, there where a group of scientists beyond that starred in disbelief, their jaws wide open, and their eyes filled with fear.

The rachni charged in, thrusting its left bard through one and it used its right to thrust through another. Violently, it threw the bodies across the room and began to attack the others; blood splattered across the floors, the walls, and the ceilings, the white room was now painted in blood, but the beast still wasn’t finished, the room over looked the much larger room that was filled with researchers. With a loud roar, the beast smashed the glass, and jumped down, instantly it began to kill all of those in the room. Thrusting its barbs through their hearts and spitting acid, burning those who come into contact with it.

The beast kill all of the researched that it had come across in that room, it killed more then a dozen, but it still didn’t kill all of them as some barley escaped with their lives.

Kareth was still walking down the hallway his fellow Rachni brother had gone down, he was amazed by this complex. It was large and filled with interesting looking objects. The large Rachni moved towards a table in a room, it had a shiny object with a liquid inside, he raised one of his barbs and pushed the object slowly, it moved a little. He looked to his left, there was another table with a large machine next to it, he moved towards it, keeping his barbed pod ready to strike at anything hostile behind it. He moved slowly until he had a clear view behind the machine, there was a flashing round object sticking out the sick, the Rachni pushed it with his barb, causing a light to project out of the machine and onto the wall, it had startled the Rachni, causing him to attack the source of the light furiously until it turned off. He walked out of the strange room to find two people running down a hallway, both dressed in white clothing. The Rachni saw blood on their clothes, he quickly started running after them, he was fairly quick for a Brood Warrior his size.. he quickly caut up to one, who fired a loud and annoying noise out of a black object, he had seen one before, it has caused him great pain in his leg. Kareth felt rage as he stabbed the man in the hip, sending him flying through the glass he was running past, the second had turned a corner up ahead, the Rachni ran quickly to find the man hiding in a room. Kareth moved with caution, the man may have another painfull and loud object. The Rachni moved in, stabbing the man in the stomach with his barb. Kareth looked at the dying man, the Human closed its eyes and grew still. The Rachni threw the body left, sending it flying into a flat object that spun around fast once the body bounced off it.

The Rachni walked out of the room, heading down the hallway the Humans in white coats had come from, he suspected his Rachin Brother was down there.. he moved slowly, examining objects as he moved quietly.

"Commander, we just came into space around Noveria."

The words were loud and clear in Ryan's ears, he stood up from the seat he was in and walked down the steps into the main bridge.

"Good work luitenant. Open a comm with Noveria, request permission to land."

"Yes sir."

The luitenant walked back over to his computer and pushed a few buttons, a beeping noise came through the comm, meaning the link had been established.

"This is SSV Canberra, requesting permission to land."

The comm was loud and clear as the voice came back through the comm.

"Roger that SSV Canberra, you're request to dock is granted. Unfortunatly, Port Hanshan Docks are under maintenance, please proceed to Landing Pad 214. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Ryan sighed. He hated when this happend.

"Roger that Port Hanshan.."

The ship moved down through the atmosphere, gaining speed as it sped down towards the landing platform. The ship hovered over one of the domes, it immediatly started opening, revealing a landing pad big enough to land a dreagnought. The ship lowered slowly onto the Landing Pad, there was a slight bump as it touched down.. causing the dome to cover the Landing pad once more. Lights all around outside the ship started turning on.. lighting the empty landing pad.

"Research Centre 214, this is SSV Canberra. We have safely touched down in Landing Dome 2."

"...."

"Research Control, do you read?"

"...."

The Luitenat rose from his seat and headed towards Ryan, standing infront of him with his hands behind his back.

"Sir, we can't contact the Control Station inside the Facillity."

Ryan sighed again, this day just kept getting better..

"Alright, I'll go take a look around with four Marines. Get them ready to meet me at the airlock in five."

Ryan walked off, leaving the luitenant to his orders. He needed to get his weapons, then he would be set to find out whats going on outside. He reached his quarters and walked inside, it looked exactly as he had left it.. he moved over to his desk and opened a draw, revealing his weapons inside. He picked up the pistol and holstered it in his amour. He then picked up his assult rifle and loaded in a new clip, walking out of his quarters and heading towards the airlock. The four Marines were already there, waiting for him. They saluted as he moved towards the control panel pushing the buttons and soluting back. They waited for the doors to open, the large doors were build to withstand most weapon shots. Therefore they were heavy and take time to open. They all walked out at the same time, the maries scanned the room with their weapons, moving slowly, macking sure every last part was scanned.

Ryan reached the door, it slid open revealing a dark room that must have been the control room. They activated their flashlight, looking around the room, there was blood everywere.. over the walls, tables and windows. There were three bodies on the floor with holes in their chests.

"Move back!" Ryan shouted as he walked backwards, weapon still pointed inside.

He and the marines stood at the door looking inside at the horror that must have occured inside.

Ryan pushed a button on the side of his helmet.

"Luitenant, seal the doors and don't let anyone leave, we have a problem.."

Bodies, organs, and blood littered the floors, walls, and windows, the freshness of the blood cleanly dripped off of the exoskeleton of the Rachni as it ventured back into the halls of the facility, searching for more of those beings dressed in their plain white coats. The large room had had be previously be filled with the lively working scientists, was now destroyed, equipment smashed by tossed bodies or torn apart by the bards of the beast. Broken glass was scattered about the floors, tables where tipped over, chemicals puddle on the floor, and bodies lay lifeless, face down on the ground with holes in their torsos and burns from the acid.

The creature continued venturing through the halls, until it came to the maintenance room, it stopped in from of the door with a cocked head, and like the other doors, it again raised its bard and it the panel, opening the door, giving it free access to where ever it wanted to go. Inside where more of the white figures, they where talking and didn’t notice the Rachni venture in.

Slowly the creature ventured over to the two, staying low to the ground with its bards at its side, closer and closer it silently marched on and yet the scientists still didn’t see the beast stalking them. It hid behind a terminal and waited, as for the fellow organics to walk by. After a few moments of the chatter, a figure walk by the terminal, still not noticing the Rachni. Suddenly the beast trusted it bard through the chest white figure, blood and organ parts sprayed across the walls and floor, it twisted its bard around in the figure’s chest and raised him up off the ground. The white coats was stained red and the figure gasped for a breath, trying to warn the fellow Scientist of the danger, but the body suddenly went limp and died.

With the body still hanging on the bard, the creature walk around the terminal to find the other one typing away to the terminal, unaware of what had just happened. The beast crawled over until it was behind the Scientist; it raised the body up and slammed it down on the terminal next to him. The Scientist starred in terror at the lifeless body of his friend, he opened his mouth to scream, but didn’t have the chance to, the Rachni trusted its free barb through the heart of the Scientist, killing him instantly.

The rachni slolwy retracted its bards from the lifeless bodies, as blood spilt from the holes. The beast stood there for a moments, letting the blood run off its shell. It stood there, motionless... Suddenly it tunred and ducked behind a large machine not far off.

Ryan and two of the guards walked down a long hallway, there we're two dead bodies lying on the floor.. both had been stabbed through the chest and thrown aroumd a room. There was blood all over a computer chair and a body lying next to it.. it was discusting.

"What the hell did this.."

The marine that had said the words quietly pushed over a dead body, another stab wound through the chest.. they all seemed to have died that way.

"What ever did it.. could do the same to us.. don't let you're guard down."

Ryan wasn't entiredly sure what was going on.. he had never seen anything like it before.. all of the bodies they had found had been stabbed in the neck or chest.. violently.

They continued moving down the hallway, they came to a window on the side of a corridore that had blood smeared all over it.. they walked up towards the door, it slid open revealing two rooms with dead carcases all through it, one of the marines moved backwards and threw up in the corner from the smell.. it was revolting. Ryan walked inside with the other marine and searched the dark room.. it was filled with organs, blood and bodies. These had been stabbed in several areas, including hips, legs and arms. They had been spread all through the room, that would explain the blood all over the windows.

"God damn! That smells like shit!"

Ryan laughed at the marines remark, he walked out of the room, still holding his weapin ready to fire.. they continued down another hallway, coming to a room with two bodies, one had been stabbed through the stomach and thrown onto a desk, the other laying next to him with a wound through his heart. In every room they had searched so far.. there had been recent killing, the thing that was doing this muct have been close. Ryan was startled at the sound of the marine who had been sick yell in pain, Ryan moved quickly with the other marine, heading back down the hall to where he had been. The Marine was on the floor, he had been stabbed through the stomach, like the others. Ryan saw something move in the corner of his eye, it was large and white.. he couldn't recognise what it was.. it moved into the darkness quickly. Ryan fired several shots in its direction, riccoceing off the walls.. the beast had gotten away unharmed. Ryan moved with the Marine down the hallway quickly, being coutious of every corner of every room.

Kareth ran into a dark room down the coridore he was chased down.. if the Humans were foolish enough to come in.. he would slaugher them. He peeked out of the door, he had been consumed in the darkness. Invisible to the naked eye. He lay there, waiting, silent. The Human he had killed back in the hallway had tried to kill Kareth, although, Kareth had better reflexes, able to stab the man before he had a chancee to fire his loud black object. The Rachni stopped thinking about the matter as one of the two Human's who were still alive walked in the room, he was dressed in black and was pointing his loud object around the room.. searching for Kareth. The Human moved towards the room that Kareth was in, he moved quickly, stabbing the man through the chest swiftly, no noise was made. He simply pushed the Human off the end of his barb, dropping him to the floor with a slight thud. Kareth knew that the last Human would still be looking, he moved out of the door and back into the hallway. His Rachni Brother had gone down the hallway to the left, Kareth moved swiftly down the same hallway.. looking in all the rooms for his brother, he came across a room with two dead bodies inside, he moved inside and found his brother hiding behind a large machine, he moved inside with him.. singing to him peacefully

"There is a Human searching around here, we should move."

Kareth sung the words into his brothers mind, their form of contact was most enjoyable.. all Rachni enjoyed singing to others..

((Didn't know if you we're waiting for me to post, so I just decided to have Ryan walking around looking for our Rachni :P.))

Ryan walked cautiously through the dark hallways, the power must have been out.. it always seemed to be in his life. He moved down to the end of the hallway, opening a door to find the other Marine dead on the floor, there were bloody prints on the floor leading through another door, Ryan loaded his weapon again, making sure it wouldn't jam when he actually found this thing.. he still couldn't figure out what it was.. large and white, stabbing people through the chest.. it didn't make much sense to him.

He moved into the next room, the prints on the floor had now vanished, the blood on the creatures feet had apparently dried. He raised his rifle and activated the flashlight, filling the room with light.. there wasn't much in the room.. a few tables and a computer. He moved on into the next one, keeping his weapon raised and his light on. The next room was also pitch black, besides a computer screen lighting about a quarter of the room.. it didn't help much. He shined his torch into every corner, making sure the beast wasn't there.. he hadn't seen it in a while.. he must have been on the right track though. He moved into the next room, finding smaller tracks of blood. He didn't want to think it but it was true.. there must have been two. He looked around the room, finding the body of another scientist.. this one had been stabbed twice in the neck and the chest.. it was very unpleasant.

Ryan stopped, movement happend in the hallway, he turned off his light, walking back into the room he just came from, he turned around to find a Rachni looking right at him, it was a large Rachni soldier, he fired several shots at point blank range, backing away quickly out into the hallway, he ran down around a corner, holding up there waiting for the Rachni to persue, his heart was racing.. he hadn't expected a Rachni to be in a Science Facillity on Noveria.. he reloaded his rifle and poked around the corner.. there was nothing there, only a flashing cieling light. He moved back behind the corner, activating his flashlight and walking back into the hallway, looking left and right for the Rachni Soldier as he moved.. he flashed inside the room where he had seen it, nothing was there exept a few bullet holes in the wall.. it had dissapeared. He thought for a moment, realising that the other could be around there somwere. He moved back down the hallway, it must have gone this way.. he had a bad feeling about this.

"There is a human searching around here, we should move."


“Aye brother.” Ormono sang peacefully back to his brother, “I want to kill more of those beings in white for what had done to us…” though Ormono’s song was peaceful, it was full of anger and hate for the Scientist. The stood there for a few moments, wait for his brother to reply, when he heard more of those loud, repeating, noises in the distance… “Brother, there are more of this loud noises that hurt.” He sang again as he cocked his head back towards Kareth

“Brother? If we are to move we have to do it now…” Ormono was becoming nervous, he knew those loud noises could pass through his exoskeleton, he didn’t want to get stuck in a place with a white being who held one of those things.

“Brother? If we are to move we have to do it now…”

His brother sang peacefully, it filled Kareth with joy.. it always did.

"Let us move, we will try cut off the remaining Human before he finds us."

Kareth looked around.. it was dark, however, the Rachni had perfect eyesight.. causing the ability to see in darkness. He lay there, ready to move when his brother did.

"Let us move, we will try cut off the remaining Human before he finds us."

"Aye brother, I will follow you..." he said back in his calm, peacefully manner. He wanted to take more revenge on the white dressed people for what they had done, what they had planned on doing, and how they had treated him and his Rachni brother. Their experiments, their tests, everything…

"Aye brother, I will follow you..."

The Rachni moved together, heading down the coridore the shots had been fired. The Human was inside a room, they moved quickly, Kareth took up position outside a hallway, Ormono started moving behind the Human.. he had a small light and was shining it around the room quickly, obviously nervous. Kareth sang to his brother softly..

"Stay Hidden.. I will distract him."

Kareth moved in quickly, the Human moved his flashlight over him and fired, a bullet sprang into Kareths leg, causing him to fall down hard. He looked into the Humans eyes.. concentrating.. pulling their minds together and speaking...

"Fear not Human.. I meerly wish to speak."

Ormono raised his barbs to strike the human who fired at his brother, but stopped and began to lower his barbs. "Brother this Human isn’t like the others, he isn’t white like those how have tried to hurt us." he was confused, he didn’t know what to do, but in retaliation to the human firing at his brother, he jumped upon the human, pinning him on the ground. With his biotic abilities, he too used his mind to link with the human. "Listen to my brother." he sang peacefully in the mind of the human, "You are not like those who have hurt us, don’t worry we won't hurt you."

Kareth sang to the Humans mind.. giving it a simple understanding of the Rachni language.. Kareth himself did not know how he had done it.. he just had.

"Human, you are not like the others.. you do not wish our race harm. You are much like the Saviour of the Rachni."

Ryan didn't know what was going on.. he had blacked out, yet he knew were he was and could hear voices inside his mind, he couldn't avoid the noise.. or open his eyes. He relaxed. Trying to think of how teh Rachi was talking into his mind.. he was surprised to hear yet another voice.. it was peacefull, all voices somehow made him relax.. it was strange. He didn't know the feeling.. it was a sudden security warmth, so to speak. Ryan listened to the Rachni..

"Human, you are not like the others.. you do not wish our race harm. You are much like the Saviour of the Rachni."

He felt like he could reply.. he opened his mouth to speak.

" 'Savour of the Rachni'?"

Ryan spoke inside his own mind instead of his mouth.. he didn't know how.. he just had.

"'Savour of the Rachni'?"

"You most likely refer to him as Commander John Shepard. He saved the last Rachni Queen here on Noveria.. we have since florished. The queen sung to us the story of the 'Savour of the Rachni' when we were only young.. he is out hero. He is the reason we still live to this day."

Kareth sung the words with pride.. he was proud of the Rachni history and he always would be. He spoke again in the humans mind.

"You are like him. Peacefull. I can see it in you're mind.. you do not wish to harm us.. we were meerly seeking revenge from out Brothers and Sisters suffering here in this facility.. the white coated Humans were not like you.. as I said. You have peace inside you. We mean you no harm."

Kareth sung the words with anger.. causing the Human to know he was passianate about the situation.

"We will do you no harm Human.. we meerly wish to leave this place. Farewell, may you bask in the benefits of good health and peace of mind."

Kareth severed his link with the Human. Sighing as he came back into contact with the world.. the Human was on the floor, apparently Unconcious.. Kareth knew he would be fine. He looked over at his brother and sang peacefully.

"We are safe now. He understands."

"We are safe now. He understands."

"Aye Brother" Ormono sang with a slit nod of his head. Slowly and carefully it began to lessen its weight on the human until he stood over him, slowly it began to walk back, completly removing himself off and over the human. Ormono then starred back down at the unconscious man, “Brother, do you think he can really help us.” he started, “Though he isn’t like the other in white, but I don’t know if he would help…” he sang back peacefully, he wasn’t seeking revenge on this human, but he still didn’t trust him.

Ryan opened his eyes.. it was blurry and strange.. the voices he had heard rang back in his mind.. reminding him of the Rachni who had spoken to his mind somehow. He moved a little, noticing something also move in his blurred vision.. he slowly regained his eyesight.. looking at the large White Rachni and the somewhat smalled Rachni Soldior. He tried to stand, pushing himself up with his hands and legs, he stood over the Rachni, not by much though.

He opened his mouth to speak but decided not to, they prorably wouldn't be able to understand him..

He picked up his weapon, the Large white Rachni raised its barbs with caution, he placed it on his back and it lowered its barb again.. understanding what he intended to do now. Ryan walked off, he felt safe again. The Rachni were peacefull and they could refuel their ship and leave without any problems. He continued to his ship.. constantly thinking about the Rachni singing he had heard.. it had been buetiful.. magical.

Ormono watched at the human walked away, until he could see him anymore. "Brother" he said "can we really trust him?" Ormono was cautious; he didn’t want to be trapped with the people in the white coats again. He was tired, wounded, and weak from the constant experiments and tests that where constantly repeated over and over again. The horrors of the strange tools they used where still burned into this mind, the many pains he took where hidden under his exoskeleton.

He could remember when the figures made his feel weak; he was so tired he could hardly move. Suddenly a small group of them began to removed parts of this shell, the pain was so eminence but Ormono couldn’t move to try and stop them, he only laid there, taking in the pain as they finally removed his shell and began to work, dig, and pry at his soft under side.

The Rachni starred at Kareth, waiting for a reply as his regained his train of though.

"can we really trust him?"

"I too have my doubts he will leave us be... all Humans are un-trustworthy. We will leave him be and pray he does the same." Kareth said as he moved out the doorway and into the hallway, it seemed only the Human and the Rachni were left alive. All the white coated demons had been slain... this made Kareth very pleased.

"Come brother. It is time we finish this."

"Aye brother." Ormono sang back in a peaceful, gentle rachni sang. "Let us finish with these white beings and give them back the pain they have given us." he followed his brother out in to the hallway, but stopped.

"We should split up; this place is great in size and would take a long time to search through if we stay together. I can fit in the small places that lead throughout this place, I will be able to hunt them down from places they think they are safe.” Without waiting for a reply, his brother and made his way down the corridors, trying to find a vent that could he use as a deadly weapon.

"Very well Brother, be careful" Kareth sang peacefully... a tone of warning in his sound. He moved down the hallway, it was true... his brother could fit through small gaps that he can't with his size as a factor. He moved into a room with a few people inside. He moved quietly, jabbing the small button that seemed to turn lights on and off for the Humans... the lights flickered out, causing the Humans to move around frantically. Kareth struck the first man, sending him into the second with ease, causing them both to fly out the glass window, smashing the glass over the last man who ducked under the table that the Humans put large glowing boxes on. Kareth saw the Human raise its pain-causing object, he moved quickly, sending his barb into the mans chest as the loud noises filled the room. The man died, dropping the small, black object to the floor.

Kareth continued forward... moving slowly, checking every corner of every room. He wanted to get out of this place and return to the Rachni Hive, meeting his brothers, sisters and his queen again would fill him with unlimited joy at the sound of their singing voices.

((Well Quarian, mayby we can continue this some other time. Ryan's heading off to the Alliance battle now! :D))

Ryan moved through the hall that led directly to his ship... he was relieved to see it as he had left it. Nice and normal. He'd had enough ab-normal experiances today...

He limped up to the airlock, his leg was hurting like hell... he moved inside, watching and waiting for the door to open as he pushed his hand on the control panel, the room scanning objects inside.

'Scan complete, CO has the deck'

The AI's voice was also relieving... he needed a good rest.

"Commander? Are you ok?" One of the Marines said, moving over to Ryan, who was still limping badly.

"Yes, i'm fine. Return to you're post." He said, as nice as he could possibly put it.

"Yes sir." The Marine said, walking back off down the hallway, leaving Ryan in the middle, moving down the next. He came to his quarters, pushing his hand on the control pannel once more, sending the door into the walls, creating a doorway. He moved inside, pulling off his helmet and taking a seat in a armchair by his bed. He picked up the black phone that was placed on the desk next to him. The machine automatically connected with the Bridge, the phone was answered by one of the Technicians, who passed it on to the XO.

"Yes Commander? Where are you?" He said into the comm, Ryan simply listening.

"I just got back... I'll tell you all about it tomorrow. I need a rest." He said. Awating a reply.

"Sir, im afraid you better get up here. We just recieved a transmission from the Allaince." The voice spoke back, causing Ryan to sigh and slam his fist into the desk.

"Fine. I'll be there in a minute." He said, pushing the comm back into its holding position and standing up, wiping the blood that was dripping down his nose. Whatever the Rachni had done when they talked to him... it had left some damage inside his head. He moved out of the room, applying med-gel to his leg, soothing the pain a little. He moved into the birdge.

"Whats the message?" He said, moved into the chair above the bridge.

The XO nodded to a Technician, who pushed a few buttons on a control pannel, causing the large screen infront of everyone to flicker with life.

A large figure appeared on the screen, the message started playing loudly.

"Commander, I need you to head to Arcturus Station... all Alliance vesslels are receiving these messages and are all heading to the same place. You will be breafed on the situation once there. Make haste commander."

The message ended, causing the screen to flicker again, sending a large red light over the screen and fading away.

"Luitenant. Take us to Arcturus Station. Full speed ahead." He said, applying more med-gel to his leg. Something big was happening, he intended to be a part of it.
