The Ratheen Empire



(Each Point represents the eight Ratheenan Homeplanets and the Centre Represents the Emperor.)

Appearance

The Ratheen have a rather Shocking apparance, they have very strange looking skin that gets thicker as they get older (However it stops at the age of 50 and stays that thickness for the remainder of its life). They are also very Muscular from birth, allowing them to wield heavy weapons when they are fighting and carying many things.

Clothing

The Ratheen wear clothing made from plants, like Humans wear cotton ect. They too wear fibre clothing. When in battle they wear a fairly heavy armour that coveres their neck, torso, groin and legs, it leaves the arms unpretected so they can move things and lift things easily, the arms are still protected however, if the skin on the Ratheen is thick enough.

Government

The Ratheen Empire's Government is rather simple. There is a representative from every Home planets that all meet with the Ratheen Emperor to discuss problems, threats, military actions, avancment in technology ect. It is a very powerfull and effective Government.. all Ratheens are treated equally, thus leaving everybody happy.

Population

The Ratheen population exploded after the System Wars they encountered (See History further on) wich was a losing battle on the Ratheens side. There are approximately 70 Billion Ratheen in their home Galaxy. Most are in the Military, about 40 Billion have once been in the Military or still are.

Crime

Crime in the Ratheen Empire is scare as most. All crime is under penalty of death and frowned apon by all Ratheen. They belive in order and establishment to keep their Empire Flourishing.

Home Planets

There are eight home planets in the Ratheen Galaxy. They are all very large and largely populated, home to about 5 billion each, thus leaving the rest of the Population to live on habited and colonised worlds in the Galaxy. The Ratheen Empire has a council of eight (See Government) and an Emperor who all live on the main Homeworld wich is the exact centre of the Ratheen Empire. It is the largest planet in the Ratheen Galaxy (That has been dsicovered so far..).

Culture

The Ratheen have a large culture based around acting and music. Most Ratheen are entertained by these things, however some like things such as art. Art, however, is very small in the Culture of the Ratheen Empire.

Religion

About 99% of the Ratheen population believe in a higher presence amoung them, they refer to him or her as their 'God'. They are very touchyand passionate about their religion, most people who do not share the belief of God in the Ratheen empire are usually considered heretics by some.. however, as everyone is treated fairly. The Empire does not mind people not believing in the main religion.

Military

The Ratheen Military is extreemly large. At the age of 30 all Ratheen are constripted into the Military for a minimum of 10 years. There are approximately 20 Billion Full-time Military Personel in the Ratheen Empire, plus with the average Contstiption, it adds to about 25 Billion Military Personell Every year.

Technology

The Ratheen are fairly advanced in Technology.. they have developed Hyperspace drives, wich allow them to travel to other systems. However, they are not aware that another Galaxy exists, the Ratheen scientists are however, starting to belive there is more life in another Galaxy and are on the verge of a Breakthrough.

History

The Ratheen have a very dark and hate-filled history. Their history dates back 200 Billion years from when they first discovered the average 'Middle Ages' period, just like Humans. They advanced through the ages until they hit the Modern Age as it is called by Humans, in less then 10 thousands years after, they discovered space flight and kept developing until eventually reaching basic FTL drives.. wich allowed them to discover they were not alone in the Universe. They met the 'Jatheans' as they called themselves who were in the same technology region as they were. At first, peace was made.. but as time progressed over the next Billion years, the 'Jatheans' turned hostile against the Ratheen. War erupted between the two races, causing total chaos on enhabited worlds as the Jantheans unleashed their agressive and monsterous new species. The Eradicator. It was named right, Eradicators were completly immune to bullets. The Ratheens, after taking heavy losses on all of their colonies. Developed a sort of Laser that cut right through the Eradicators Strange Skin. They Named it 'The Last Hope' and mass produced them after testing it. Every soldior was given one, thus starting the last offence against the Jatheans. The Eradicators were annihalted on their homeworld, as were the Jatheans over the next few years. The Ratheens had used their Military power and brilliant Scientists to overcome the hopeless war. Since then, 50 Billion years have passed, Hyperdrives were established and the Ratheen now control all of the Ratheen Galaxy, this is also when they established the Ratheen Empire, wich florishes to this day.

215 'Lancer' Assault Rifle:



The 215 lancer Assault Rifle (Commonly Refered to as 'Lancer'), is the main weapon used by the Ratheen. It's the perfect weapon, easy to manufacture and easy to wield. It also has a Chainsaw beonet to be used in close range, although it leaves a mess. It gets the job done.

217 'Gnasher' Shotgun:



The 217 Gnasher Shotgun is a cheap and easy to use shotgun weilded as a secondary weapon by all Ratheen. It is also fairly easy to load quickly, with practise.

211 'Longshot' Sniper Rifle:



The 211 Longshot Sniper Rifle is the main Sniper Rifle used by the Ratheen. It is very accurate, its scope is near perfection in percision aiming.. making it the obvious choice for the field.

'Snub' Automatic Pistol:



The Snub Pistol is given to all Ratheen Military Personell. It is a must have on the field when you're ammo runs low. It can also be very usefull for accurate shots.

'Last Hope' Laser Carbine:



The Last Hope Laser Carbine is large and powerful. It can tare through any sythetic or Organic material it has been tested on. It is extremly powerfull and is not stationary equipment. The weapon attaches to the Soldiors Lancer, completly changing it and turning it into a Laser Carbine. It gets extremely hot and overheats, this can be treated by letting the weapon cool down for a moment.

So is this supposed to be a whole new Galaxy? And i think 200 billion is a bit much : /

They've spread through their entire Galaxy.. 200 Billion would make sense if Humans were at that point in Technolody and had colonised thousands of planets.

But yeah, I was hoping to make contact with the Galactic Community with these characters soon.. as I said they are on the verge of the discovery of another Galaxy.. they are highly advanced, but they use normal weapons :D.

Anyway, mayby we could have the Ratheen Galaxy and areas for people to be able to post in? I mean on the main forum how it has Milky Way Galaxy.. mayby we could add 'The Ratheen Galaxy'?

So.. Approved or not acceptable? I changed the Population btw..

Unfortunately, we can't accept this right now, as we aren't accepting any more alien species.

I might be talked into accepting it if you make a poll in plot development and get everyone's opinions about the discovery of a new galaxy and such, assuming the majority like the idea.
