Stargate SG-1
Ressurection

Chapter 1: A New Enemy.

“Five Minutes to Destination” The ship AI had a smooth and calming voice… most were based on women. This one was no acception.

James walked along the long hallways of his ship… he had been in command of The SSV Sydney for five years now. They were on a casual patrol… nothing out of the ordinary… as it was every time. The Galaxy had been at peace for over one hundred years. James understood the precautions they had to take incase something happened, what he didn’t understand was why they had to patrol this blank region of space with a sun and not much else.

“One Minute to Destination” The AI rang through the ship again, causing echoes through the halls and empty rooms. The ship was under populated as most Pilots and crewmembers had been assigned into the Tau’ri Navy to fight against the Pirates who had recently been notoriously gaining forces and wealth. The Tau’ri had been the dominant species in the Galaxy since the Azguard became extinct. Thus leaving the fate of the Galaxy in their hands. James stopped his thoughts as he came to the bridge, which was filled with his crew… it was basically all they had.

“Status Report?” He said, moving past his advisers who quickly followed him to his seat above the bridge. “We’ve completed our route sir… we can leave once we’re scanned the area.” One of the men said in a fairly deep voice. James was pleased. He wanted to get home and see his family on Earth. “Good. Proceed with Scanning.”

“Sir! I’m picking up a massive energy spike just above the ship!” James looked down at the man, whose console exploded in front of him… sending him back into the wall.

“What the hell is going on!” James yelled as the ship shook violently.

“Sir! What seems to be similar to a Black Hole has just appeared above us!” A woman below screamed as the ship shook again, taking her off her feet and landing into another console. All hell was breaking loose… they were loosing power and a lot of primary systems. “Evasive Maneuvers! Get us out of here!” James yelled over the buzzing alarms that were almost deafening. “Commander! Three ships just jumped through the hole… they’re enormous!” A Pilot yelled as the ship turned around, moving slowly from the sub-light engines. “Gets us into Hyperspace Pilot, now!” James yelled as the ship shook again. “The hole’s closing, the ships are moving into defensive positions and charging weapons!” James closed his eyes, Thinking for a moment.

“Turn us around! Now! Activate Hyper-drive and power up weapons. We’ll keep them distracted until we can jump!” He shouted. The ship did a full turn, facing the ships. The Pilot had been right… the ships were enormous in size… they were a grayish in color. “Good god.” James said quietly as blue lights began to appear underneath the large ships.

“Pilot! Get those Hyper-drives online!”

“Weapons are online! Five more minutes is all I need!”

“We may not Have Five Minutes Pilot!” James shouted as he raised his hand, signaling the other pilot to be ready to fire.

“Take us into full sub light, move around them. Remember. We don’t know their firepower!” The ship lurched forward quickly as its sub light engines activated. The ships seemed to know what they were doing… one turned to face them, the blue light getting larger.

“Fire!” James yelled at the Pilot, who slammed down on a button, which made the ship shake slightly as everything they had was fired at the strange ship. Missiles, rail guns and Azguard laser beams fired out of the ship… all sent into the enemy ships shields…which glowed orange as everything slammed into it. Seemingly doing nothing. There was a large flash of blue as one of the ships fired, five blue laser beams were headed for James and his ship. He stared out. Accepting his fate.

“This is Sg-3…we are reporting back from mission to Perseus-98. Sending IDC now.” The voices rang through the gate room as the Iris slowly opened, allowing the four men to step through…unharmed. General Jackson moved into the large open area that the star gate towered over. He met with Sg-3 as they were entering the long hallway that led to the med bay; one of the members had been shot in the arm.

“How was the mission John?” The General spoke in his average dark and deep voice. His children always used to say he was scary.

“We encountered a small group of Pirates…three got away in a ship, we tried to take them quietly but they opened fire.” John was nervous…he wasn’t looking forward to writing the Mission Report.

“Alright Lieutenant, get you’re men cleaned up for briefing in five hours.”

“Yes sir.”

Jackson moved through the building into his office… the ancient red chair he had come to love still behind the large, wooden desk that had such a rich history of heroes. There was General Hammond who was in charge of the SGC when it was first build… there was General O’Neill, who had led the SGC through its victory against the Gou’uld, General Landry who had kept the Galaxy safe through the troubled times with the Ori. And of course… there was General Carter. Who had kept in charge through the easiest of times… now, Jackson was in charge. He felt great pride when he sat in the chair… knowing he was keeping the legacy of the Generals past. There was a knock on the door. A man entered, the General had no idea who he was… although, he thought he had seen him before. “Sir. We’ve just received word that the ship under command of Commander James was destroyed twelve hours ago in an empty sector. We found a massive energy reading but nothing else besides the debris of the ship.”

The General sighed.

“Pirates?” He asked. “No Sir. The damage done is far greater then any weapons the Pirates could get their hands on… something happened out there sir. We can’t figure out who did this.”

Jackson stood up… moving toward the door.

“Find out who did it…?” He asked. Feeling stupid for not knowing the mans name. “Lieutenant Greg, sir.” The man said. “Greg…how…?” The General was cut off by a loud bang. He didn’t know what happened. He hit the floor… blood leaking out of his heart and dripping onto the floor… he looked up. The man loaded his weapon again… aiming down at his head.

“Farewell, Human.”

Two Marines rushed into the Generals office… finding a man standing over the Generals body, holding a Colt.

“Drop the weapon! Now!” Shouted one of the Marines as the man turned around, aiming the weapon at the Marines head and firing. Causing blood to splat over the wall and the other Marine. He fell onto the floor… his eyes as lifeless as death itself. The man turned to the other Marine… who slammed his gun into the mans face… causing him to fall to the floor with blood pouring out of his nose. The Marine moved quickly, handcuffing the man and pulling him up quickly as three more Marines entered the room… all were wide eyed at the two bodies on the floor.

“Go get a Medic!”

Chapter 2: Crime and Punishment.

Kane awoke to the sound of banging on the door of his one room apartment… it was fairly close to the SGC… allowing him to easily get to work. He didn’t get much time at home. He honestly kept asking himself why he didn’t just sleep at the SGC. He sighed as he rose from his bed… putting on his clothes and moving towards the door. Something bad had probably happened. He grabbed onto the door handle… turning it to reveal two men dressed in uniforms. “Colonel Kane…? May we come in?” One of them started… only to be moved in by Kane… who walked into the kitchen to grab some pills for his wounded arm.

“So. Who do I owe the Honer gentlemen?” Kane laughed a little… the men probably knew he was on his week off. They looked serious… one was holding a file on something. “Sir. General Johnson… you’re father. Was killed last night in his office at Stargate Command.”

Kane was shocked… his father was a high-ranking military General. This must have been some sort of joke. A sick one at that. He looked at the men… who didn’t seem like they we’re going to burst out with laughter and say ‘You’ve just been punked’.

Kane opened his mouth to speak… not really knowing what to say.

“H-… How?” He said… stuttering a little… trying to understand what was going on.

“A man using a false Identity shot him in the stomach… he was taken to the Infirmary and put into surgery… they couldn’t save him… I’m sorry.” One of the men said. He too seemed heart broken. The man began to speak again… looking at Kane who felt like he too had been shot in the stomach.

“We have the criminal in custody… he is refusing to speak. I thought because you we’re the leader of SG-1-“ Kane cut the man out… beginning to speak.

“Get it out of him…? The man who killed my father… you truly trust me to be in the same room with the man who killed my dad?” He exclaimed, anger was in his voice… it was starting to clear his sadness… filling with anger.

“Lets go.”

Godking51 - February 29, 2008 10:13 AM (GMT)

Kane walked through the long hallways of the SGC, it hadn’t changed much over the years… few new features, facilities and not much else, besides a large docking bay. He and the three Marines behind him moved into the room, Kane looked down at man who had blood all over his face, it was all over the walls also. The smell was awful… disgusting… Kane had smelt worse however. He pulled up a chair next to the ‘man’, who remained silent, looking down at his feet, as he had been when Kane walked in.

“So… who are you?”

The man didn’t respond… he simply stared at his feet.

“Not the talking type huh?”

The man smiled, Kane clenched his fist. He didn’t care if he beat this man to death for information… or if he got any information at all.

“Don’t forget… you killed the General of this base… my father… I would kill you right here, right now if I could—“

“Yet you can’t. Can you?”

The man had a voice much like a snake… the words slippery and silent.

“I could… if you want?”

The man laughed a little… looking up at Kane, the mans bloodshot eyes were disturbing.

“Who are you mate.”

The man simply looked back at his feet, Kane sighed, raising his fist and sending it into the mans eye, causing him to fall off his chair from the force. Kane simply stood over the man who was now on the floor, waiting for an answer.

“Well? Who are you?”

The man sighed, getting back onto the blood-covered chair.

“I am you’re warning… the scout of my race.”

The man looked up at Kane, giving him a chance to speak.

“In a matter of days. My race will over-run this Galaxy and I will have the joy of firing a bullet into you’re chest… just like I did to you’re father.”

Kane stood up, drawing his pistol and pushing it to the mans head.

“Do it. I will simply be reborn. You cannot kill something you did not create.”

The Marines in the room raised their weapons, pointed at both the men.

“Sir, please put the weapon away.”

Kane knew it was the right thing to do… as much as it hurt his pride to lower his sidearm. He did anyway… knowing he would one day get the chance to kill this man. He spun his pistol around, sending the handle into the mans nose, knocking him out cold.

“If he starts talking again, call me.” Kane said to the Marines as he walked out of the room, heading to the Generals office. He found the second in command sitting at the chair, unpacking some things.

“Sir, don’t get too comfortable. We have a situation.”

Chapter 3: Scavengers.

“This is Stargate Command, you are cleared for departure, over.” The voice rang through the radio aboard the ‘Jericho’, causing the pilots to push the throttle on the ships controls, sending it into the air and activating the Sub-light engines. The ship sped off out through the atmosphere and into space, speeding past the Earth Defense Platform in orbit as the Hyperspace window opened, revealing a large blue light which flashed shut once the ship was sent into it… speeding faster then anyone could imagine.

The ship’s AI rang throughout the ship, the male voice coming out from speakers in almost every hallway and room of the ship.

“Jump completed, time until destination is reached, five hours.”

Kane was in the Docking bay, sitting inside a F-302 and having a long think about a lot of things. He had gotten more information out of the man back on the SGC; he had to use a lot of brutal punishment however… he was not proud of this.

“You alright Kane?”

The voice was soothing, calming, soft and delicate. Kane turned around; Amanda was standing there, dressed in her combat uniform, as was he.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” He said, breaking eye contact and pretending to be working on the ship he was seated in.

She walked up and sat on the outside of the cockpit, her long blonde hair coming down to her shoulders. He looked up at her again; he had always loved her… ever since she had first joined SG-1. The rules were strict however… he wouldn’t put her career at danger for himself.

She sighed, apparently exhausted for some reason. He got up, jumping down from the ship and landing easily, he had always been very athletic.

“I’m gonna go get some sleep… who knows what we’ll find out there.” He said, rubbing his eyes, it was true; he was completely drained of energy.

She smiled, “Alright, see you when you wake up”

And with that, Kane walked off, leaving her alone inside the Docking bay… he felt bad… she obviously knew how he felt, he made it obvious.

“Destination in five minutes.”

The voice rang through Kane’s mind, causing him to wake up immediately. He cursed a little; annoyed he had slept so long. He jumped up, put on his combat armour and walked out, heading toward the bridge. He walked in, his team were all standing on the flight deck as the Hyperspace window closed, revealing a horrible scene. There was debris all over the place… bodies floating through space… he moved toward his team, standing next to James, who looked at him as he moved toward them.

“Look’s like there wasn’t much of a fight…” He said, looking back at James who was obviously thinking the same thing.

“Do a scan of the area, check for any life-forms.” The Commander spoke loud and clear, he seemed the type who didn’t screw around, Kane admired that.

“Sir, I’m picking up several life-forms aboard the ship… although, the radiation in the area may be fiddling with the scanners.”

The Commander sighed, looking over at SG-1, who was still looking out into space.

“SG-1, get to the ring transport, you’re going aboard.”

James, Amy and Kane all moved down the hallways into the ring transport room. There was a technician inside, standing at the control panel.

“Ready?” He asked them, Kane simply nodded.

The technician pushed a few buttons in, causing four rings to fly up from the ground, circling SG-1, followed by a flash of light they zoomed out from the Jericho and stopped at the destroyed ship, causing SG-1’s matter to re-form into the shape of their former selves, landing them in the exact position they had been in when they had been sent.

The ship had been split in two; they had been sent to the front of the ship, which had the ring transport system and the apparent life forms.

“Alright, lets move, be careful.” Kane ordered, moving forward, raising his P-90 incase something jumped out. They moved through a dark hallway, all turning on their flashlights which were on the end of their weapons… there wasn’t much besides a few burnt consoles and bodies… they stopped as Kane’s radio came alive.

“SG-1, the Life-forms are on the bridge and moving towards you, be careful. Over.”

Kane picked up the radio and murmured ‘Roger, requesting radio silence’ back. They turned off their lights… moving up a little until they heard faint voices.

Kane signaled to take cover with his hand, causing Amy to move into a room next to them and James to jump kneel at the door; Kane simply crouched down behind a box.

The voices were faint and hard to understand… possibly in Gua’uld. Lights erupted from around the corner, dancing off the computer monitor and hitting the wall, causing light to fill the hallway. They were all carrying Machine pistols… much like the Lucien Alliance prototypes. Kane immediately knew who they were.

“Put you’re hand up!” Kane yelled, jumping out from cover to find two men and a woman stand there, all firing at him. He jumped back behind cover, returning fire, James and Amy did the same. They were now in a large firefight, two more Pirates had appeared behind them, who were quickly neutralized by Kane’s P-90. He raised over the cover, firing down at one of the Pirates, who fell back and screamed in pain, Amy and James finished off the last two.

“Jericho this is SG-1, be cautious, there are Pirates in the area, requesting immediate extraction.”

“Roger SG-1, prepare to be beamed aboard.”

Kane looked down at the pirate woman, who picked up her radio. Kane moved sideways a little, aiming down at the woman… there was a white flash; he was back on the ship.

“Damn!” He yelled, everyone looking at him puzzled.

“Get ready sir, one of them got word out we’re here.”

The Commander looked worried, sighing as he opened his mouth to speak.

”Get weapons online now!” He shouted, looking out at the debris… something massive moving behind it.

A large ship appeared, about three times the size of the Jericho… and it was moving toward them.

“They’re powering weapons sir!” One of the pilots yelled.

“Fire!”
