James grew up in Australia on Earth, he had always had a facination with weapons and high powered rifles. He used to go hunting all the time with his father when he was fourteen... thus giving him a basic knoledge of firearms. James is very rugged looking, many scars and bullet wounds are on his body from previous assignments... the scars on his face were caused by shrapnel from a explosion.
When he was twenty-five, he signed up for the Alliance Military... he remained in a normal Marine position until he was twenty-eight, when he sighed up for the ODRIAF Division of the Alliance, his military experiance got him in.
James was put incharge of Delta Squad, he has since been in that position for two years... he has led the squad through several difficult situations, causing their faith in him to increase more and more.
