Biography:
Born into a wealthy family, Scott's family travelled constantly aboard large private ships. However, once he turned 18, he was granted a small fortune from his parents and immediately moved to the Citadel. Initially, Scott lived like royalty, throwing parties and impulse buying every minute. Within a year, though, he had practically no money left and had to sell off many of his belongings due to excessive spending. Also, many of his "friends" abandoned him once his money ran low. He was reduced to living in one gigantic apartment on the Citadel and owning only one vehicle, which was a drastically reduced lifestyle by Scott's family's standards. In order to sustain what he did have left, he joined C-Sec as a law enforcement officer at the age of 20, and then proceeded to slowly rise through the ranks.
As part of the enforcement division, Scott was forced to see how "the other half lives" and was quickly apalled and shocked at what there was to see. One one assignment in particular, he had to respond to a civil disturbance within one of the poorer districts in the citadel. There he found a new motivation to help these less forunate citizens.
It is worthy of note that Scott even ran a few political elections, promoting the welfare of all citizens and championing the centuries old ideas of the "common man." While he lost in all instances, this brief introduction to politics gave Scott the knowhow to "persuade," or manipulate government officials when necessary.
Scott is noted as being highly loyal and a hard worker after working at C-Sec for only a few years, where Scott learned many things since and became a much more productive citizen. Still retaining a fairly large sum of money, Scott learned to control his spending and other worse habits and has become a friend to many people from all species and social backgrounds.
During the Terra Firma riots on the Citadel, Scott was promoted and given a joint assignment between the Enforcement and Special Response divisions, stemming from his talents in military-style fighting. He still remains an officer in both divisions.
More recently, during more violent events on the Citadel, Scott has seen colleagues and even his own home reduced to rubble. Luckily, he had a second home on Earth still and he didn't suffer much in the way of injuries, but he still was affected; seeing friends and colleagues killed really doesn't sit well with him, after all.
((Can anyone tell that I just finished learning about the Populist and Progressive movements in U.S. History class? :P ))
