(Continued from the depths of space)

Leonne woke up from her, admittedly uncomfortable, sleep. She was still in the ship, and had been for days on end. Luckily she had enough food, but she was getting rather irritated about the current situation. Once again, luckily, she noticed something in the distance, and by the looks of it, it was a planet.

"Well it's about damn time!" Leonne muttered as she attempted to stretch in her rather cramped compartment.

The planet was Ordo, a lush, beautiful planet covered in vast green forests and beautiful bodies of water. The planet was one of the 'fringe' colonies of the Asari, and it was truly befitting to them. However, the planet was also rich with natural predators, and Leonne knew that the Asari of the plane would be quite willing to hire her as a hunter.

"Well, better make sure zat my weapons are up and running properly." Leonne said as she pried her pistol from the spot on her side.

Later...

The ship, having developed some semblance of an issue amidst it's normal landing procedure, ended up flying about a mile from the nearest port city. Luckily, Leonne managed to get out of the ship unscathed, though she was rather irritated as well.

"I 'ate zose Guardian bastards." she muttered under her breath as she wrapped her white cloak about herself and headed out towards the city.

She brought up her comlink and activated the emergency signal, hoping that someone would be willing to help her out. The jungle about her was both hot and humid, one of the more tropical areas of the planet. Unfortunately, this was also where some of the more dangerous predators were.

Dante had just gotten word that a small Asari colony built on a small forest planet called Ordo. Dante and his team had just left their ship and was making a path through the forest.

"What the hell are we doing here?" said Jack

"Don't know" replied Dante "Kane told us to be here"

Just then the team saw a ship fly by and crash in the nearby forest.

"holy shit!" shouted Riff

"Jack get a lock on that" orderd Dante "we need to check on what the hell that was"

Leonne continued through the forest, happy that her suit was capable of environmental adjustment. Otherwise, she'd be boiling at the moment.

'The Asari have always been marvelously adaptable creatures. No wonder they live here.' Leonne thought as she leaped up onto a log hindering her way.

Then, of course, the log broke under her weight, and she had to flip off of it to land without being too terribly injured. Being an infiltration expert had it's pluses, such as genius acrobatic skills. Her other skills, such as reflexes that allowed her to avoid the falling vines that followed up on the log, were due to her modification and her years of practice and training.

Having barely not even neared a sweat, but made one hell of a loud noise, Leonne continued on her way... until a loud growl stopped her.

"Zat doesn't sound too friendly..." she said aloud as she noticed a shadow coming up from behind her.

She ripped her cloak off and caught the approaching creature's head with it, tightening it around it's neck and deftly snapping it. The creature spasmed for a moment before dropping down to the ground. Leonne noticed that it resembled a combination between a lizard and a wolf, and by the sound of the growls from around her, it hunted like the latter.

'Well, let's see how they do like this.' Leonne thought as her form disappeared from view due to her potent active camo.

The creatures rushed her as she 'disappeared', but they found only air as they finally arrived. A moment later, and a loud squeal broke out from one of them as it's head was split clean open, Leonne's form being seen holding a knife for a moment before flickering back out of existence.

Such a thing happened as one of the creatures had it's throat slit, with Leonne flickering in and out of existence with her strike. This pattern would continue until the pack was dead or gone, and the frantic beasts began to make all kinds of ruckus. If noone nearby had heard the tree, they would most certainly hear her location now.

One of the lizard-wolves was inexplicably thrown into another, with a crack of breaking bones(or exoskeleton, or whatever held them up) and a ripple of space-time. Without a flourish or a flip, Venetta burst out of the bushes nearby, glowing with the signature blue-white of biotics.

"Thought you could use a hand," she said simply, falling silent as one of the beasts decided she must be rich in minerals and attacked. Venetta unholstered her pistol and jammed the barrel up against what she was fairly sure was the creature's head, pulling the trigger and making yet more oddly colored blood spatter across the clearing. "I saw the log trick. A bit flashy, ain't you?"

"Well, I'm only flashy when I can allow it." Leonne said in her heavily accented voice "Now 'old on une momente."

Leonne finally reappeared, after talking to the new arrival, behind the final wolf-like being with her leg raised as high as she could. She then drove it down onto the beast's neck, and a rather pleasant snap resounded through the area. Still having not broken a sweat, Leonne's smiling face and body stood to it's full height.

"Zere, zat is much better. Now, my biotic, Liandri amie, what puts you in zis part of ze woods?" Leonne asked as she shook the blood off of her knife and sheathed it "You 'aven't beaten me to ze good 'unter jobs now, 'ave you?"

"It's actually kind of embarrassing..." Venetta grumbled, the barrier fading. She crossed her arms and sighed, debating whether or not to explain. Figuring that the other bounty hunter may assume the worst if she clammed up, Venetta continued. "I had gotten a target onto my ship to bring him back to my employer, but he turned out to be a better hacker than I thought. Stole my ship right out from under my nose. Even had a widget to get past the kinetic barriers I put all around his cell, the lucky bastard."

Venetta scowled. "Don't laugh. With that greasy little snake, it could happen to anyone."


OOC: I feel the urge to make that "greasy little snake"...

The seven man team made their way deeper into the dark damp forest, "Sir, I think we're coming up on the ship" said Jack "ok then" replied Dante "let get moving".

The team keep walking untill they came arcoss the large ship, Riff quickly inspected it to see if there was any surivers "I don't see any bodies" shouted Riff "maybe their still alive" Just then they heard a sound not to far off "what is that?" whisperd one of the soldiers

"Jack, can you check up ahead to see what that was?" said Dante

"Sure thing" replied Jack as he cloaked himself and ran towards the noise. What he saw was two, what looked to be females, standing over a dead body of some animal "Put your hands where I can see them" shouted Jack.

"What is zis?" Leonne said with a cocky grin as she looked at the, still new Liandri arrival "Anozer Liandri mercenary. 'ow interesting, zat one would save me while ze ozer flanked me."

Leonne's omnitool flew up in an instant, and a small 'bug' grenade flew out and latched onto the new man's weapon, frying it in an instant. In the same instant, Leonne drew her pistol and pointed it at Venetta, though she knew not what her name was.

"So, 'greasy little snake', oui?" Leonne taunted as she drew her assault rifle with her other hand and pointed it at the man, not taking her eyes off of either of them for any long period of time "Ze bounty on my 'ead is off now, ze record should 'ave cleared up as of zree days ago. I don't know what you're expecting to pull with zis, but I do NOT recommend taking any... unnecessary actions."

Venetta sighed, rubbing her temples. Sarcasm marred her usually expressionless voice when she spoke. "Oooh, look at the big hacking hotshot, not. Steal a ship and can't even get it out of orbit before you crash it again. You aren't a very good pilot, are you, blondie?"

Not waiting for an answer, Venetta's hand started to glow and she lunged forward, lashing out with a considerable amount of Biotic energy directed straight at Leonne. She hoped the incorporeal blow would at least knock her off her feet, if not throw her into a tree.

OOC: *Plays it safe*

"Shit!" shouted Jack as gun began to fry in his hands, he then saw as the other girl used her Biotic powers to throw his attacker into a tree.

Back at the crash site Dante heard Jacks "shit" over his com. "Jacks in trouble" shouted Dante "lets get moving!" The team quickly took off into the jungle towards Jack, Dante saw the blonde girl laying aginst the tree, he quickly pointed his GD-10 "no body move!" he screamed, the group of soldiers came dashing out behind Dante and surounded them "Liandri commandos, put your weapons down!"

"Merde!" Leonne muttered as she crashed into the tree, hard.

'I really wish I had biotics about now.' Leonne thought as she saw something she only dared to have nightmares about.

"Liandri commandos, put your weapons down!" a soldier, probably a captain, cried as he and several other subordinates sprung from cover.

"Zut!" Leonne muttered under her breath as she cloaked and swung herself behind the tree.

Activating her com, and speaking so quietly that noone would hear her except over her com, she contacted the other men.

"For ze last time: I. Am. Not. An. Enemy." Leonne said, loud enough that it would be heard over the com, but not much else "My name is Leonne, I 'ave no idea why you seem to be 'unting me when my bounty and charges were cleared zree days ago, but I 'onestly do NOT want to start anozer battle for no damnable reason."

Luckily, thermal sensors would have a hell of a time finding her in this extremely warm, tropical area.

Aseri was making her way through the thick tropical forest. Many of the Asari ammbassaders saw a ship go down, and Aseri was sent to find out what happened. The closer she got, the sound of voices grew. Suddenly she heard voices say "Stop we have you surronded" Aseri froze and at first thought she was the one they were talking too. However Aseri saw a flash of blue light and hurt something hit a tree. Aseri figured someone had used biotics. Aseri grew mad. Today was suppose to be the day of the mission... It will not be swayed because of immbociles.

Aseri's body started to glow blue. She then pushed outward in the direction of the voices. Soon all of the surronding people were in a stasis. Aseri then walked through the forest and spotted the people who were causing comotion. She then began to speak.

"Hmmm, I came to suspect a ship crashing which I presume one of you fools crashed it. Yet, I come to find people fighting and holding people up...Listen you etheir learn to behave on this planet our I will personally see to it, that you leave this planet in a body bag." Asari's stasis field dwindled away and the users could soon move again.

Isaac was unhappy with the way everything had been going lately. He brought the ship down on the unknown planet (unknown to him, anyway). Rear Admiral Bryant would probably trace his steps eventually, but a few seconds of not worrying would do him some good.

The planet was a lush, tropical forest... just what Isaac had needed for a while. He stepped out and sighed. He knew he was kidding himself, that all hadn't went to hell for the last three weeks and was actually all okay... these thoughts weren't the kind he swore he'd make to himself after his family had died.

"Ah... well... I guess I feel somewhat at peace again," Isaac said to himself, smiling despite his thoughts.

"OH YEAH, IT'S TIME TO SPLITTT!" Cortez shouted, jumping out of the ship. Isaac didn't feel so at peace anymore.

"Will you shut the Hell up? I've had a headache for the last ten days, don't make it any worse..." Isaac mumbled.

Cole jumped out of the ship behind Cortez, and was much less quiet about it as well. "Well, sir, this place is a good change of scenery, you know?"

Isaac smiled. He did know. He was glad to see that he wasn't the only one suffering the last few weeks. Isaac, Cole, and Cortez all began to walk through the surface of this tropical planet... only to come across Dante and a few other people standing around him.

"Hello there, Commander Santiago," Isaac said, rubbing the back of his head. "What's going on?"

Dante looked at the new enemy after she had frozen them "You bitch!" screamed Dante "Hello there, Commander Santiago," said the commander behind him "Issac get down!" Dante lit up in a blue glow a looked towards a rock, the rock lit up in the same color blue and was tossed towards the Asari.

After becoming unfrozen, and hearing the even newer arrival after the 'captain' screamed at the Asari who had frozen them, Leonne knew that there was a problem. Pulling out her sniper rifle, she brought it up to bear and targeted the rock.

A high velocity tungsent round shattered the rock, sending the pieces in multiple different directions.

"Are you guys complete idiots?!" Leonne screamed both over the com and normally "Zis is an Asari Matriarch! Zere is neizer a chance nor a sane reason to attempt to kill 'er! What ze 'ell is your problem anyway?! I 'aven't even done anyzing to you, and you 'ave no reason to attack me! In fact, your ozer biotic attempted to arrest me wizout provocation in the first place! Zen, zis Matriarch broke up ze fight so no innocent blood was spilled, and you call 'er a bitch and attack her! What ze 'ell is your problem?!"

Isaac scratched the back of his head. "Ooh, French chick. Been a while since I saw one of those. Anyway... I hope you aren't referring to me, 'cause I'm not doing anything, y'know?" Isaac said, shrugging his shoulders.

Cortez was running around in circles. "WE LEFT TINMAN!" he shouted frantically.

"What ze 'ell is your problem?!"

"Oh, a Asari Matriarch" said Dante, his blue glow went down and his body went to normal "sorry your greatness" said Dante out of sarcasm "we humans have no manners"

The rest of Liandri lowered their weapons, Riff walked over to Jack and helped him up "You ok?" asked Riff

"Yea, I'll be fine" replied Jack "but I don't like the idea of loseing my weapon"

"Well it's about damn time..." Leonne muttered as she replaced her sniper rifle "Now zat zings are finally peaceful, let's try zis again: je m'appelle Leonne, and I 'ave no interest in killing any of you. As for ze gun..."

Leonne retrieved a small credit disk from a suit compartment, and she tossed it to the man who's gun she blew up.

"5,000 credits should more zan cover a new one, oui?" Leonne said with a smirk before pulling out an, unknowing to the other parties involved, blank card "Also, 'ow much would it cost to 'ire you as an armed escort to ze nearest city?"

Isaac looked back and fourth between Dante and Leonne. He still was confused as to what was going on, and wished that Cortez would stop running around blabbering on about the Tinman.

"Hey, uh... What's going on here again? Maybe I chose the wrong place to stay?" Isaac asked.

"Aw damn, man, why is he gone?" Cortez shouted sadly.

"The adults are trying to speak, Cortez, should the fuck up!" Isaac yelled, throwing a nearby rock at him.

"For one thing, lady, you're the one who pulled a gun on me. I call that advance retaliation on my part, and I refuse to apologize for defending myself," Venetta said crossly, folding her arms in front of her chest, the glow receding from her body. "M'name's Venetta Gray, Bounty Hunter. I ain't the best one in the world, but I'd like to think that I'm pretty good."

Venetta glanced at Cortez with her disturbingly black eyes., disapproving "What the hell's his problem?" She asked in the same flat tone with which she spoke, making a minuscule turn to face the insane individual. "Is he mental of something?"

Leonne glanced at Venetta with a disproving glare as she continued to hold onto the soon-to-be loaded card.

"Well, I zought I was defending myself. As I've said before: my bounty literally was cleared zree days ago, and it kinda comes across as an ambush when two armed Liandri bounty 'unters flank you." Leonne said with her voice almost dripping with acid "I 'ighly doubt you would 'ave done anyzing different in my place, especially when one of ze 'unters 'as a gun pointed at you and demands zat you keep your 'ands where 'e can see zem."

Leonne's face then twisted back into it's usual smirk though.

"However, I ze past is ze past, and no serious 'arm was done. Now, once again, 'ow much would it cost me to 'ire all of you as an armed escort?"

Aseri stood still while the french girl blew up the rock beside her. Aseri eyed the man who had threw the rock. She then frowned and said "You need to be more careful when you do something like that, it might actually get you killed in the near future...Nw, followme to the city, The Asari ammbassador awaits to speak with you all." Aseri then made her way back ot the city, every now and then looking back to make sure they were following her and not doing anything stupid.

"TINMAAAANNN!" Cortez had shouted one more time, before being punched out cold by Isaac.

"I still don't see what's going on, but I'm getting a pompous vibe from the French chick," Isaac said silently to Dante.

"Oh, yeah... uh... you, whatever your name is," Isaac said, directed toward the woman giving him advice about not throwing rocks at fellow soldiers. "You can have your way of doing stuff, but I've got mine, okay? And why is the asari women waiting for us?" Isaac then rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I kind of showed up without an invitation, but you know, I'm kinda with Dante, I guess."

Dante didn't like the idea of following an asari around in a Jungle, but this had to be why Kane wanted them here and maybe he can get some answers. Dante turned to face his men then Isaac's.

"well I don't like this one bit, but this is better than standing around" Dante faced Loenne "Well if you want a armed escort heres you chance, and for god sake Isaac keep your men in line!"

Dante then turned back at the asari and began to follow her.

"You don't consider punching a crazed soldier out keeping him in line? Bah... Coal, take him back to the ship. We probably won't be far enough for you to have trouble catching up with us," Isaac said, pointing toward the direction of their ship. "Make him and the robot have the same room together, although I don't wanna know what he's gonna do with it when he wakes up."

Coal nodded, and headed toward the ship. Isaac then faced Dante again. "All right then, fellow Commander. You do your things your way, I do my things my way... although yeah, I'm gonna follow the asaris too... but that's beside the point. Have I ever told you about the time me and that asari dancer... ah, never mind," Isaac said, looking around at the other people around him.

"Can we just go? I'm feeling uncomfortable and now I think I'm talking too much..." Isaac then began to follow Dante, who was walking not far behind the asari.

"Well, it seems zat zings are working better zan planned..." Leonne muttered as she followed behind the Asari.

Still, something felt... off... about the Asari that is. Sure she was a Matriarch, but she was a royal bitch. It wasn't exactly her idea of what a matriarch would be like. And the Liandri soldiers... they were ALL damn crazy.

'Great, and I'm going to pay them to take me somewhere... still, it might be interesting.' Leonne thought as she approached waited for the Liandri soldiers to catch up.

"Um, look, I would like to apologize for ze misunderstanding earlier. In retrospect, I let ze remnants of my paranoia get ze best of me." Leonne said, quite sincere in doing so while she followed the Asari Matriarch "Also, I was kind of wondering about ze Liandri... I've read a bit about it zrough some of ze data I've acquired over ze years, and quite 'onestly, it 'as caught my interest."

Isaac shrugged and looked to Dante. "Is she on to us?" he asked, worriedly.

He then turned to face the woman named Leonne. "What do you mean, 'caught your interest?' Our company faces enough slander as it is," Isaac said, before considering that she might not mean it like that.

"Oh, but it gets good things said about it too... uh... like it's devoted leader and squad leaders, like me and Dante over there. Oh yeah, and the base is wonderful. It's quite a sight to behold..." then, once again, he considered that she could mean "interest" in a bad way.

"People say things like I killed one of our major allies, but where's the proof, huh? People like to say things without knowing a damn thing about it. You better not be like those people." He then offered her his hand. "But either way, you know, a greeting is a greeting. I'm Isaac Shock, in case you were wondering... but judging by the smirks from earlier, I doubt you were."

Aseri continued to walk toward the city. She was ready to get rid of the ignorant people as soon as possible. Aseri then spotted some tall towers, she was nearing the city. Aseri then said "Okay, were almost at the city. When we reach the city, I will have to leave you with other Asari's. They will then lead you to the Ambassador." Aseri then continued toward the city.

Leonne accepted the hand Isaac had given with his greeting, but nearly laughed at what he said after that.

"Actually, I was wondering; I'm always wondering about zose around me, and not necessarily in ze sense of paranoia eizer." she said, her hand gripping Isaacs for a fairly firm shake (which was aided by the built in powered exoskeleton in her armor) "And don't worry, I'm not one to judge an organization by press and rumor alone; I've been on ze poor side of zat particular playing field a few times too many, and I'm not one to be a 'ypocrite."

The Matriarch that was leading the crew then announced that she would be leaving them when the reached the city, further expressing the fact that they would be meeting an ambassador or whatnot.

"Um... zis might not be good. Apparently she zinks I'm wiz ze Liandri already..." Leonne said turning back with her smirk to the two commanders in Liandri "So, shall we explain ze situation, or shall I go on a'ead wiz you all? I was about to ask what it took to join ze Liandri, after all."

OOC: Sorry for the absence! It's after my language arts finals, and they have me writing letters like you wouldn't believe. I'm still in the process of resetting my brain, so sorry for the short post. D:

Venetta raised an eyebrow, turning to face Leonne with her arms crossed. She was still pissed that she had managed to steal her ship right from under her nose, and then managed to crash it. She scoffed. "You only just cleared yourself off the bounty list. It'll take a little while before you can join the Liandri. Try freelancing for a while."

"Eh, I guess you 'ave a point." Leonne said with a smile, though the phrase 'it was still worth a shot' passed through her mind "It would be nice to enjoy myself wizout 'aving to fear for my life for ze first time in... 'ow many years 'as it been?"

She continued thinking, attempting to come up with an answer until they either were ambushed, reached the city, or until someone actually attempted to speak to Leonne.

"It'll take a little while before you can join the Liandri" said the black haired girl.

The team saw as they entered the large gates into the city, Dante turned around and notice something about the Black haired girl, she had a small Liandri symbol on he armor. Dante didn't see because of all the drama that was going on.

"are you a Liandri Merc?" asked Dante "I didn't any reports that Liandri sent anyone here" Dante began to wonder what Kane was thinking when he sent two of his best Squads to a large Aseri colonie, but this was just a Merc.

Isaac continued following the group, laid back as usual. Any thoughts of Rear Admiral Bryant had left his mind, and he was trying his best to enjoy the scenery. Thoughts of Coal had left his mind, as well. He still was not with the group.

He sighed and turned to the Leonne girl. He still wasn't entirely sure if he could trust her, and had worn himself out with the last rant he gave her. Sure, she was attractive. But so was the asari woman he had been with not that long ago at Chora's Den, and she ended up being a psycho.

Who am I to call anyone a psycho? Isaac thought to himself, lowering his eyebrows into a saddened expression. He turned away from Leonne and sighed again. His depression never really stopped after his family died, and he did all kinds of things to just make it worse. Nothing could justify what he had did to those Alliance members.

Isaac tapped his knuckles against his forehead hard. He hated thinking like that. Then he realized how odd the gesture might seem to the people around him, and scrambled to do something that didn't seem slightly crazy.

"Uh... I... uh... where's Coal?" He finally managed, not exactly sure why he would expect any of them to know.

"Are you a Liandri Merc? I didn't any reports that Liandri sent anyone here."

Venetta scowled, crossing her arms. It was getting obnoxious how she needed to explain a lot, though he had come in after the first time.

"I got my ship stolen out from under my nose. I heard reports about it around here, but it looks like Leonne over there crashed it." The biotic glared at no one in particular. "Now, it seems I'm here to look for another ship."

Isaac looked around nervously, before stopping to look at the biotic woman. "I'm sorry, were you whining about something?" Isaac asked, in his politest tone possible.

That was when Coal finally came back, bruised and almost out of breath. "Oh shit, Isaac, that damn Cortez took off with our ship looking for that damn robot," Coal managed, attempting to catch his breath.

"WHAT?!" Isaac shouted, before turning to Dante. "I'm gonna be held responsible for this, aren't I?" Isaac asked, nervously.
