Soon he rose through the 'ranks' of the gang and soon became its leader at the age of 15. Jack learned not to take crap from anyone and always enforce the law,
his law. He trained himself how to fight with fists and weapons alike. He had never lost a fight. At the age of 18 he joined the Alliance. Leaving his gang behind.
After a few years in the Alliance training facility, Jack was well known..and feared by his younger and even older trainees. Another year passed and he completed the training. He surpassed many before him, and was considered the top of his class. This is also the time when he got his nickname 'The Jackass'. He soon went on many missions with other recruits.
During one mission, his teammates were pinned down in a building. They were surronded by mercenary's soldiers and Biotics alike. Bis teammates were very tired as they have been pinned down for 2 days and without rest. Finally, Jack (who was the leading officer during the mission) told his teammates that he had formed a plan, but it was gonig to be risky. He then told his teammates of the plan. They were scared and nervous when he finished, however Jack forced them to callnig them 'wimp' and many other hurtful names. Finally they had no other choice to do the plan.
On the mourning of the third day, they exucuted Jack's plan. His three teammates rushed out of the building with their guns blazing. Jack was behind them, hiding himself with their shadows. His teammates took down many of the enemys, however they soon went down. After Jack's last teammate went down there were only 2 mercenary's left. One was a krogan and the other was a human. Jack smiled as he dove out from behind the cover of a raock and shot very accurate shots with his pistol.
He knew that his sheilds as well as the two mercenary's were down. His shots hit right on the mark. Each shot hitting it's target in the head. The krogan hit the ground first, followed by the human. Jack smiled and said "Ha, take that you bastards." He then radioed in for the ship to pick him up. The captain he was serving at the time, was angry yet satisfied. Angry, because JAck forced his teammates to give up their lives, however satisfied that the mission was succesful.
A few years later at the age of 38, he was assigned a mission on a uncharted planet. He was sent their to investigate some deaths. Jack had decided to go alone on the mission, however, the captain was furious and was saying that it was suicidel, but Jack smiled and said life was suicidel. The captian had sighed and let Jack do it alone. On the planet Jack was confronted by his former gang. The head member of the gang was smiling when they confronted Jack. The leader said "Ah, Jack you remember us? We were the gang that you deserted to join the damn military. As you see here, we have grown up, and grown stronger. We hoped you would be the one to take this mission. Now we are going to try a negotion here. You can co-" Before the leader finished the conversation, Jack quickly raised his pistol and shot the leader in the head, the shot going straight through the sheilds.
Jack formed a grin and moved his gun around pointing it at the crew then said "Anybody else want to negotiate?" The gang member slooked at one another and then dropped their guns. Jack,still pointing his gun at the crew, called in for backup and for the arrest of the crew members. His captian congratulated Jack on the mission. Two years and many missions later Jack decided that he would leave the crew he knew, to go and join the crew of the newly formed Normandy II. He knew of the first Normandy's adventure and hoped that it's sequal would hold the same luck as its predisecer.
