A silent husk of a foreign ship drifted through space, a strange blue glow emanating from within. In most cases it would have warranted no attention from anyone besides a looter, but the strange design intrigued this curious group of passers-by to investigate.

The sleek, white ship that pulled next to the wreckage shot out a single claw on a thick chain, which clamped onto a piece of the main wreck and pulled it towards the ship, which opened up and swallowed the derelict craft.

Yarik strode to the torn ship in the hangar confidently. A number of drones swooped in and began sawing and tearing the sheets of metal open, one-by-one, until its contents were laid bear. Inside was a blue liquid sphere, like water but deeper, held aloft by no tangible means. Suspended in the sphere was a tall humanoid clad in a robe decorated with unfamiliar markings. It appeared to be wearing a helmet and mask.

One of the drones approached curiously, to no reaction. By Yarik's order it cautiously nudged the bubble, which seemed to agitate it, causing the perfectly round edges to warp and bend until it broke and fell to the floor. Within moments it dissolved, leaving the creature inside prostrate, apparently dead.
