Title: Member Groups

Delta Team Curt - March 22, 2008 03:14 PM (GMT)
Member - Regular member, no status, simply a poster who comes on occasionally or doesn't post much, but still contributes. MEU is, for the majority, made up of regular members. Have no special forum abilities.

Agents - Members who have made 100 to 199 [posts. They are active members of the community who post often and are well known. They can be trusted to respect the forums, and have a lengthened chance to reach a moderator position, if required. Have no special forum abilities.

Executors - Members who have made 200 to 299 posts. These members are constantly posting and almost always on, serving as a guide to younger members who may need help finding their way around. They often begin quality topics, and can be looked to for a good roleplay. Have no special forum abilities.

Soldiers - Members who have made 300+ posts. These members are true veterans to the site, and post both constantly and frequently. These members can be trusted to roleplay at exemplary levels, and it is next to impossible to see one of these members misbehave or get out of line. These members are typically also one of the better sources for interesting topics and assistance to newer members. Have no special forum abilities.

Member of the Month - Members who will have their name in white to indicate a form of reward. These members have gone beyond the call of duty to contribute quality posts to the forums, and are given this rank to recognize them for their hard work. Members of the Month are highly respected, and their names are placed in an archive to forever be remembered. Members of the Month have no forum abilities.

Parliament - These are the best members of the site, those who active, helpful, and nice. They help the mods keep people in line and have limited moderator powers.

Keepers - Essentially the designers of the site, Keepers, unlike the aforementioned three ranks, have powers in the forum. Keepers can do almost everything that an administrator of the website can do, allowing them to effectively add better banners and skins to make the forum appeal better to newer members. Anyone can be considered for this, with slight requirements: the person must be good in the realm of web design, and the person must be trusted heavily (abusing their power could mean the entire downfall of the site).

Ambassadors - The moderators of the site. Moderators are the members that are picked and volunteer to completely regulate every square inch of the forums, having the ability to hand out warnings to wild members who break the rules, and at worst case, ban more malicious members from the site. The rank of ambassador can be achieved by simply doing your part as a member of the community, and earning the respect and trust of everyone; showing you're a mature, likable person always helps as well. NOTE: Do NOT be afraid to contact moderators if you ever feel you need help for any reason. Even if it's something as simple as needing a place to start out your RP, moderators were chosen for their ability to get along with people, and you will never hear one tell you to leave him/her alone. Ask questions!

Council - The backup Administrators of the site. These handful of members handle the site in place of the Spectres. They have most of the powers of the Spectres. They moderate the forums and also have access to the Admin Control Panel. In order to reach this level you must be an extremely active and well trusted member of the community. You would have had to been an Ambassador or Keeper before reaching this level.

Spectres - The Administrators of the site, and the men and women that lay down the final law--they say something, you follow it. They can override anyones' decision, and are the creators of Mass Effect Universe. In rare cases, administrators are heavily trusted members of the community, although being an administrator isn't considered an extremely elegant job in the first place--much power comes with even more responsibility, and regulating an entire forum can be tiring.
