Like most stores, this shop is open to the public and regularly caters to the civilian market. Unlike most stores, this particular one has a backroom with walls surrounded by power generators and forcefields that supply the life support and electricity to the area. This interferes with most, if not all, electromagnetic radiation, making it unusually protected against surveillance equipment.

The store is usually run by an asari assistant who handles most of the customers in the front. The owner, Tyrus Melcinus, handles the bulk purchases, rare items and 'valued' clients in the back.

A sign out the front states:

Welcome to Melcinus Weapons and Equipment. We pride ourselves on being able to acquire almost any weapon in the galaxy discretely and efficiently. All customers are welcome.

Tyrus walked into his store, saw no customers and waved over his assistant. "Any new orders?"

His assistant replied. "No new ones today, Melcinus. I've placed an order on the new Colossus X armour sets for the front store."

"Anything unusual happen?"

"No sir. A few Alliance marines were buying some of the heavier weaponry and C-Sec sent a couple of 'off-duty' grunts to inspect the store but other than that, nothing."

"Very good. I'll be in the back sorting the new stock. I'll be available for consultation in the meantime."

"As you wish."

Tyrus was busy stacking rifles when the lights in the room dimmed for a moment. Faintly, he could hear an odd hum in the generators behind the walls and there was a slight twinge on his biotic implants.

"Hmm... now that was odd." he said to himself. Switching on his omnitool, he brought up a display he had been working on since setting up his shop. It was a perfect hologram of the backroom, with labels and cutouts displaying descriptions like 'Flux power generator' and 'C-Sec Lift' over sections of wall. One particular section, marked 'Chora's Den power generator' was flashing yellow and a readout showed an unusual power spike.

"Most odd." Tyrus muttered. Thinking back, the last time he remembered this happening was right before C-Sec came down to Chora's Den to mop up a bar brawl. All the participants were apparently knocked out when C-Sec arrived.

"It seems that the owner is quite capable." Tyrus chuckled. Then he frowned. He couldn't recall installing any security systems for Chora's Den and that sparked his curiousity.

A quick search on the Citadel's information network brought up one "Leonne Rousseau" as the owner.

"Perhaps it's time I visited the Den again." He mused.

A call came through for Tyrus, heavy with encryption. The message was a request from Operative 6 for a pick up. Tyrus frowned. His face was well known around the citadel so meeting with the agent could be dangerous. He sent back a message to meet in Chora's Den.

Tyrus then painted his face with the colours of an obscure clan and put on a some light armour with an face hiding helmet. Securing his weaponry including his hidden Espada blade, he went out of the back rooms.

"Leaving, Melcinus?" his assistant asked?

"I'm calling it a day. Might not be back for sometime. Kepp the business going, alright?"

"Yes, sir." And with that, Tyrus was off to Chora's Den

Ethan and Tyrus decided to analyze the bomb at his store. Ethan walked in and the assistant immediately recognized him. Tyrus came in behind Ethan and the two went into the back room. Ethan gave Tyrus the piece of the bomb and Tyrus began to examine it.

"This is probably going to take awhile. I'll be waiting in the front of the store." Ethan said to Tyrus.

"Hmm, whatever. Just don't break anything." Tyrus called back absently. He was distracted by the stream of text rolling down the screen.

The fragment of the bomb was too small to have any manufacturer's mark on it. Loading up an IR spectroscopy, the residue from the bomb determined that a C-10 type explosive was used.

Tyrus frowned, as a database searched showed that this particular variant of C-10 was of Turian manufacture. He extracted a few atoms of the polymer that made up the fragment and did a cross reference against the turian materials database. One hit came up and Tyrus opened up the file on the petrochemical/polymer company. A quick scan revealed that the small company mainly exported to the Citadel.

Bringing up the Citadel docks manifests, Tyrus tracked the shipments from the company to a volus weapons supplier. Further examination revealed that this volus was a major purchaser of turian made C-10 explosives. A predatory grin spread across Tyrus's face. The merchant was not far from his shop and also happened to be a rival to his business.

Downloading the data and location onto his omnitool and Ethan's, Tyrus stood up and walked out to the front, only pausing to grab his pistol, shotgun and a few "questioning" tools.

"Ethan, we got our suspect. It's a volus merchant not far from here. Gear up. If you need anything just grab whatever's here, it's on the house."

Tyrus turned to his assistant. "Ethan was never here, understood?"

"Yes, Melcinus." came the reply.

"Ethan, we got our suspect. It's a volus merchant not far from here. Gear up. If you need anything just grab whatever's here, it's on the house."

Ethan nodded his head and walked back inside taking two pistols and a drill. "You are probably asking why the drill. It's simple, if he doesn't feel like talking we'll open up his little suit and make him talk. Ethan said with a smirk.

Ethan led the way to the volus' position. Ethan hadn't worked with Tyrus for a while and he wondered if Tyrus was still able to keep up with him.

The two walked for another few minutes and found themselves outside the volus' shop. Ethan walked into the building and went up to the front desk. A turian was sitting there.

"Tyrus, this guy's place is much better than your shop. Not much competition." Ethan said while laughing. Ethan pulled out his gun and pointed it at the turian.

"Is the owner in?" Ethan asked politely while he held the gun to the turian's face.

"Yeess." the turian said with a shaky voice.

Ethan shot through the counter and the turian screamed while clutching what was left of his left hand. "Don't even think about pressing that alarm under the counter!" Ethan shouted. Ethan kicked open the door to the backroom.

Sighing, Tyrus picked up one of the pistols in the store and put the screaming turian out of his misery. The last thing he wanted was someone identifying them. He then turned and closed the store up.

Finally done, he followed Ethan through the back door where Ethan was currently searching for the volus. Frowning, Tyrus opened up his omnitool and scanned an innocuous section of wall. A thin smile crept across his face.

"Ethan, over here." And with that Tyrus powered up his biotic implants and pulled the hidden volus merchant through the thick false wall. Painfully.

"I believe, Ethan, we have our suspect. Hello, Choudan Thed. We have some business to discuss."

"Good job Tyrus. So you are the guy that I have been assigned to silence." Ethan said.

Choudan was horrified and tried to escape from Tyrus' grip. Ethan grabbed Choudan by the helmet.

"I have a question for you. How did you get that illegal information? It's not that easy nowadays to steal important, confidential information." Ethan asked.

"I am going to die either way. Do what you want with me?" Choudan responded bravely. Ethan pulled out the drill he took from Tyrus' shop and hit Choudan with it.

Ethan powered up the drill and pushed it in Choudan's helmet. "From what I know you volus have these suits for a reason. If I were to let some good old oxygen and nitrogen enter into your suit, what would happen I wonder." Ethan said.

He continued to push the drill in. The drill went all the way through the mouth piece on the helmet and Ethan pulled the drill out. He then began to drill more holes around the helmet. Choudan began to scream.

"So I'm assuming your screams mean that your flesh is splitting?" Ethan asked. Choudan continued to scream.

"Let him go. We aren't getting anything out of him." Ethan told Tyrus. Ethan began to leave the back room, but he tripped over something. It was an object that looked oddly similar to a bomb.

"Get back!" Tyrus snarled as he noticed the bomb Ethan tripped over.

Using his biotic powers, he threw the bomb and Chouden into the front of the shop. With massive concentration, he then pulled Ethan biotically into Chouden's former hiding place and jumped in, slamming his fist into the emergency switch. A huge metal door slammed down just as the bomb went off, incinerating the front and blowing debris into the backroom.

Kage walked into to the shop looking aggitated, he started looking for a salesman

"i hope this shop has some colossus armor V, i've been looking all day"

Ethan had no clue what happened, but it all ended in a flash. He found himself and Tyrus holed up in a little box. For some reason Tyrus was on top of him. The box had been ripped off its hinges in the explosion and flew outside the store.

"Get the **** off of me. What if Leonne saw me in this ridiculous position with you." Ethan said while kicking the box. They were trapped in the box.

kage sees whats happening and pulls out his assault rifle

"what the hell i going on here?"

he gets ready to shoot at anything around him

"What is that human expression... keep your shirt on?" Tyrus said disgustedly. Focusing intently, despite Ethan kicking him, he warped the hinges of the container. Ten seconds of concentration was sufficient to weaken them thoroughly. With that, Tyrus pulled deep into his energy reserves and put as much force as he could into a simple biotic push. The box blew apart violently.

As an extra touch, Tyrus tweaked the push to have Ethan flying out away from him into a bunch of empty cardboard boxes.

Ethan pulled himself out of the boxes. "You did that on purpose." Ethan said angrily.

Sirens could be heard heading towards them. A crowd started to develop at what was left of the store.

"Come on let's get out of here. We got to meet up with another Espada member." Ethan pulled Tyrus and the two ran into the shadows before C-Sec arrived at the scene.

((Kage Ethan has no military rank and also if you know him you have to state how. Plus a bomb just went off.))

The asari assistant at Tyrus's store walked from the backroom and showed up to assist Kage.

"My apologies, sir. The owner of the store is out and there is just me here running the store. I heard you from the back. So it was the Colossus V you wanted? We have the new Colossus X coming in sometime tomorrow but they are around 6-7 times more expensive. Would you like to wait or is the Colossus V just fine?"

kage waves it off

"its fine, and i would like the Colossus V, i'd rather not wait"

"I'll be back with your armour." The assistant walked into the backroom and came out shortly with a large box.

"Here you are sir. Just a few quick things first. We don't do repairs, you'll have to send it back to the manufacturer's or make your own arrangements. A maintenance kit is bundled inside for your use. The warranty is for six months with the manufacturer and if you have any defects or faults, return it to us within the next 30 days for a full refund or replacement. You will need a bill of sale to apply for the refund."

"Thank you sir. I'll take your payment now. Ah, thank you." The assistant said as the sale went through.

"Oh, and there's a 5% discount since you had to wait so long. Thank you and consider Melcinus Weapons and Equipment the next time you need anything. Have a pleasant day."

Kage takes the package and gives the assistant the credits

"thank you, and have a pleasant day yourself"

he walked out of the shop and headed towards his office

((Continued from the Financial district))

Leading Neovgre and Ethan into the backrooms, Tyrus pointed out parts of the room.

"Computer terminal's there, you can use it to access my databases. Weapons are over there. Ethan, don't touch them. Neovgre, make sure he doesn't touch them. Over here is the kitchen. Neovgre, there's some special drinks in the back locker for you. Over here is the bunks which I will be using. Don't break anything and just leave a message on the terminal if you do something without me. Got it? Good. Now I'm sleeping. Goodnight"

And with that, an extremely exhausted Tyrus collapsed into the lower bunk.

Ethan stood up a at a long table. This table was outfitted with a VI. Ethan had the VI display all the information that they currently had.

"Okay I explained everything to you all ready. Now we need to figure out where to go from here. This volus was hired by someone and I think that someone is the one with the stolen information. I had this VI hack into the volus' recent accounts. I scanned through the whole thing and one thing stood out. The volus recently returned from a trip to Feros. It may not seem weird with Feros being a hot vacation spot nowadays, but the volus has never left the Citadel before. Why start now?" Ethan reported.

The VI appeared on the table. "Also Mr. Waber the volus' bank account increased substantially ever since returning from Feros." the VI said.

"Thank you. You see I think that our main suspect is on Feros. I really think we should leave right away." Ethan told Neovgre.

Alex walked in the building's front door. He turned to the assistant "I'd like to speak with Tyrus, Ethan and Neovgre. It's a matter of some importance.". Zangestu knew to be quiet at times like this. They could be extremely delicate.

Tyrus' clerk knocked on the door.

"There is a person out here that wants to see all of you." the clerk said.

Ethan went outside and saw who it was.

"Dammit Alex, noone asked for your help or that sword of yours." Ethan said.

"You think I like doing your work for you. I may be one of the youngest members but I'm still higher up than you so show a little respect." Alex wanted to smack him upside the head.

Suprisingly Zangetsu spoke "Our assignment is not to interfere, only to observe. You do your job and we won't have to do it."

Alex looked at him " Zangetsu, what is it with you and not talking?". Since he didn't get an answer he moved on "Anyways He's right, we're here only as observers. Unless I get a message from Pein this is what I have to do. Now suck it up be a good boy.".

Ethan dragged Alex to the back room.

"Okay now that everyone is here, we are going to make our final preperations. Neovgre I need you to get us a ship. Alex you may be observing, but you have to help nonetheless. I need you to get us a transport to whatever ship Neo gets. We have a lot of weapons and other supplies to take with us. Finally I will have to drag Tyrus there because he is asleep. Okay let's get to work. We are off to Feros!" Ethan ordered.

Alex sighed "Very well." He pulled out a communicator and radioed out to someone on a private frequency "Ya, it's me. I'm calling in another favor. Send a transport over to Melcinus Weapons and Equipment ASAP." He shut off the comm. "So who is it your going to kill this time?".

Ethan turned around to face Alex.

"Don't really know. I figure that after killing enough people we will eventually get the guy. I mean how many people can be connected to this." Ethan said.

Ethan took his sword out of his belt and began polishing it.

Taql walked into the shop and looked around the store for what Leonne wanted for him to get. He decided to go to the clerk and ask him for the shield and if he could get the full end item.

"Excuse me sir can you tell me where I can get a Serrice Council kinetic barrier emiter. I need it for a mission you know. I need to get the full high end edition however, no prototype. I believe my rank allows me to get that version of the barrier."

Taql said as he flashed his Spectre identity card at the clerk and hoped he could get a yes answer. He really wanted to get out of here while he could. Last thing he wanted to do was miss the scientist on Ilos.

"Well, unfortunately, none of us seem to own a ship we can take." Neovgre said, matter-of-factly "Also, we cannot afford to buy a ship. The only feasible option is for us to... acquiesce a ship in a... less than legal fashion."

Neovgre glared at Ethan a moment later.

"However, I will go about the acquiring of such a ship in a subtle manner. I will make my way to the docks in minute, if you have no more business for me, that is."

The sound of a Krogan in the front of the store, however, alerted her to a potential problem... and a potential opportunity.

"...actually, I'll wait for the Krogan to leave..." Neovgre thought as she waited for the Krogan to leave.

Ethan was listening through the door.

"I believe my rank allows me to get that version of the barrier."

Ethan suddenly had an idea.

"Hey Neo, let me run this by you. This guy out here is boasting about his rank. I'm looking at the camera on the walls here and he happens to be a spectre. Don't all spectres have ships? I'm not going to wait for you to agree with my plan." Ethan said.

He got out of his chair and walked towards the door with his sword out.

Neovgre didn't let Ethan get to the door before she activated various eezo nodes in her arm, effectively creating a stasis field around Ethan, preventing him from moving.

"You have done enough for today; they tend to make people like me clean up after your messes, and I do not enjoy doing so." Neovgre said, her eyes squinted in a stern look "As they say in your race, 'shit always rolls downhill.'"

She then moved to put herself between Ethan and the door, arms crossed once more as she leaned against the door.

Ethan was struggling to escape, but then gave up.

"This is a great start to our relationship. You keeping me bondaged like this. Didn't know you were so kinky? Sadly though we have a mission to do." Ethan said with a big grin.

"Excuse me sir can you tell me where I can get a Serrice Council kinetic barrier emiter. I need it for a mission you know. I need to get the full high end edition however, no prototype. I believe my rank allows me to get that version of the barrier."

The asari clerk was nervous, though nothing showed on her face. With a Spectre in the front and Espada in the backroom, it was not a pleasant situation.

"Wait one moment Spectre, I'll have to unlock the security protocols. Fingers dashing across the store computer, the assistant overrode the locks on the "Special" equipment locker. On a side wall, a display opened up with the security field deactivated.

"The emitter is the one on the top left. Take what you need, the computer will automatically deduct the amount from the Citadel accounts. When you are finished, just step back and the display will lock itself."

Taql was rather impressed with the lineup in the display locker. Couple of these things he would probably take for his own if he wasn't in such a rush. He found the transmitter and pulled it out. When he stepped away from the locker he saw that the locker closed itself and he heard a small ding. 'Cash register of course.' Taql said to himsefl as he laughed.

He went to the clerk from the store and nodded at him. "Thank you very much. Glad we could do buisness." Taql said as he began walking out the door.

Neovgre heard the Krogan leave the store, and waited until she heard the door shut before opening the door behind her with one hand.

"I am going to follow the Krogan, and yes, I'm going to get his ship for us, Ethan." Neovgre said, having opted to ignore the man's attempt to upset her "I'll contact you all when I have acquired the ship."

With that, Neovgre headed out, effectively trailing the, seemingly rushed, Krogan.

{Continued wherever Taql heads, most likely Chora's Den}

Ethan was finally let loose from the stasis when Neo left the store. He got up and sat back down. He checked to see if Tyrus was awake yet and he still wasn't.

"Tyrus never had much stamina." Ethan said to himself. He continued to polish his sword. Ethan started to think about Leonne again. He realized that he never got her number. Also he realized that that was the same krogan from the club. He seemed to be heading back to Chora's Den.

Ethan gathered his things and prepared to leave. Something stopped him at the door way. He turned around and sat back down. Ethan looked at his sword and saw that his right eye changed color again. He also had that same serious expression that he had when he threatened Tyrus. What was happening to him?

Tyrus woke up feeling somewhat refreshed. He hadn't so much as slept as more like recovered. He looked around the bunk room and saw no-one. The others must be in the main room.

Flicking on his omnitool, he accessed his logs for an update for Executor Pein, Espada #1. The VI in his network played the presentation that Ethan just gave before.

"We're leaving soon for Feros." he thought. "Better gear up."

Standing up, Tyrus walked over to his locker. Opening the security seals revealed a variety of weaponry not even seen by the other Espada agents, let alone the C-Sec Customs office. Most were prototype equipment from the labs on Noveria, one-off weapons that were too costly for even limited production and eventually abandoned.

Reaching in, he pulled out what looked to be a sword hilt with a missing blade. A quick flick of the wrist and a 42 inch blade assembled itself from the hilt. A twist of the hilt and the blade shortened into a 8 inch knife. One more flick and the blade disassembled leaving the hilt once more.

Tyrus grinned. The Espada junior to him would have scolded him for not keeping his sword on him at all times. The Espada senior to him would have understood. Agents #1 through #4 were old hands at this game, regardless of their ages. There were times that the Espada blades had gotten them all into trouble.

Kitted up, Tyrus walked into the main room where he found Ethan staring at his blade and Alex Setanoki, Espada #2, waiting politely on the sides. Leaving Ethan to his thoughts, Tyrus nodded to his immediate senior.

"It's been a long time, Alex. You too, Zangetsu. I guess Ethan gave you a report on the events. The back room is still available to you. Just grab whatever you need. I suspect wherever Neo's gone, we'll be following soon after."

{Via Comlink to Espada}

"I have secured a ship, come to the docks quietly... and do not cause problems along the way."

Ethan heard the message from Neo. He got up and put his sword in his waist. There were six bags on the floor filled with weapons, foods and other essentials. Ethan picked up two bags and went outside. The transport had been waiting for them for a few minutes already. Ethan threw his bags in the back and went inside the vehicle. Ethan saw noone in the transport.

"Where is the driver? Are we supposed to drive ourselves?" Ethan asked Alex. A VI appeared on the dashboard.

"I will be driving you today sir." the VI said. Ethan shrugged his shoulders and waited for the others.
