History:The Espada are part of the Citadel Council's reformed special operatives group. The Espada are comprised of soldiers from all the different races and they work behind the scenes. Before the Alliance Civil War the Espada used to do clean up duty for the Spectres. Whatever damage the Spectres caused or anything else that resulted from a Spectre's actions would have to be covered up by this group. Since the Alliance Civil War ended the Espada have been reformed into an anti-terrorist/rebellion group.
Mission: The Espada secretly quell rebellions through infiltration and deception. The Council uses the Spectres as a propaganda tool to boost morale. The Council uses the Espada to handle more controversial problems. The Espada are kept a secret and the names of the members are only known by the leaders of each race.
Recruitment: Espada members are numbered by how long they have been in the organization with 1 being the oldest member and 10 being the newest member. If a person expresses extreme desire for peace and justice and is a skilled combatant they can be nominated to join the group. A member can leave whenever they wish, but their minds are wiped of anything that has to do with organization. There can only be ten members at any given time.
Gear: Each member of the Espada carries a unique energy sword that signifies that they are part of the Espada. Each member has a choice of what weapons they want to use. On missions Espada members generally wear long black cloaks to partially conceal their identities. They all use the latest light armor to protect them. Espadas generally customize their weaponry and appearance.
Teams: Espada generally work in one to two man teams like the Spectres, but when the Council gives a mission top priority they work in larger groups.
Rank: The Espada answer directly to the Council and their own respective species' leader. Since the Espada do not hold any military rank they must answer to any military officer as long as the orders do not coincide with their current mission.
