As most of the citizens of the US know, if we aren't in one we are certainly close to a recession. A recession is a "negative real economic growth" (Thanks Wikipedia :))
Anyway, like the country we at MMh have noticed a decline in logging on and in more members. Don't believe me? Look at two charts thanks to Sainzero Topsites!

As you can see, this week is the second lowest we have had. To me, that says recession, depression, what ever you want to call it, it's not good! Look at these charts for "Monthly"!

This is about half of the second lowest amount which is 159! Also realize that there is just 13 more days of this month! So this is probably going to be the worst month ever for MMH here.
I said that as MOD that if anything was to happen that would be a problem, I would do something about it. So, here I am. I am completely open for suggestions which you can submit by PMing me or another better option for me which is to go to www.freewebs.com/blackjackformod and submit there.
Anyways, one of my stimulus packages is already starting to take place: reunion week. The goal of reunion week is the following process.
1. Reunion week is started
2. Members tell friends who want to be members and previous members
3. they log on that week
4. they either join or tell someone else how great it was.
GOAL 5. WE GET MORE MEMBERS! :D
Even if we get 1 MEMBER, that is one more than when we started!
I also have gotten many positive responses on this, and I say thanks!
My other plans are either still being worked out, or I am still thinking about it.
I can still tell you two of my other plans which is Plan B on my list.
This is called: CONTEST STREAK
The goal of contest streak is to have a BIG CONTEST in which anyone can participate. For example, a drawing contest would not be one because maybe someone is not a good drawer. The exact contest is still being decided but here is the process behind that one:
1. Contest streak is started
2. Participants (members) enter
3. Members tell other friends, maybe even family, enter.
4. More members form and visitors increase.
GOAL 5. we have a winner and maybe more members join. :D
The last idea is Plan C. This is called: GAME SHOW HEAVEN
We plan to hold a major game show competition. Members and other friends, register to get "training" if they want to prepare to what some questions may be like. they may be multiple choice, true or false, etc. Also, the types of questions or categories may be explained. they could be about MMH, Megaman, TV, News, etc. The exact game show format that will happen has not been decided.
The process is:
1. Game Show Heaven is announced
2.Members and new members join to get training or just wait for contest.
3. tournaments are held until we have 2-3 players left.
4. We have a winner in the championship
GOAL 5. more people will join in anticipation of the next contest and while waiting, post on the site.
I am sorry if this is a little long and boring, but hey! someone has to do it and it might as well be me because I enjoy this kind of stuff! :lol:
Well, if this doesn't make you gasp and worry about the future of MMH, then in my opinion, you are not a loyal member! You should care about what your forum and community is going through.
