U.S.A. is not an answer because a family originaly from somewhere, carribean is for anyone who is from a country, or puerto rico, next to mexico for carribean you have to be from an Island ONLY!

I posted other, since my dads side is from both Russia and Poland(Poland wasn't up there) and my mom's side is from Italy(Italy wasn't up there), I would have chosen Russia and other, but you can only pick one answer.

both my sides of the family have had bad experiences. My Dad's Mom, who is still alive, SAW HITLER! They got a notice that he was coming and schools and shops, EVERYTHING was closed. They had to line up in the street and salute him.

Also on my mom's side, the worst thing happened. Heard of the Armenian Genocide? Probably not..because the only talk about the Jewish one in schools..well, about in the early 1900s, the people from Turkey did not like the Armenians. So, they ruler wanted to kill the all! So, they went over and started killing them. My Greatma,(great grandma) who died in 2005, was in a pretty rich family in a poor neighborhood. Her Dad was a merchant and was very successful. She had a bunch of brothers and sisters too! All of a sudden, the soldiers went to their door. They took her Dad, killed her mom, killed mostly all of her sisters and brothers, except for one brother who escaped, and all right in front of my Greatma's eyes. The decided not to kill her since they thought she would die on her own. About a week later, when she was wondering what happened to her father, she saw her dad's belongings on sale at a shop. She ran to an orphanage where there were so many children, that they started KILLING THEM! So, my Greatma wrote to her one cousin in CA to ask to bring her over to America. He did, any she took a boat there. She went on Ellis Island and did the routine and lived in Union, NJ. She worked in the city for her job as a seamstress. She lived through the Great Depression, WWI, WWII, all those wars. She had my Grandma and Aunt Ruth. My Grandma had my 2 Uncles, Mark and Glen, and my mom. My mom then had me! So, if it wasn't for greatma, I would not be alive today!

Well, we actually do learn about all genocides like that one. And Aremina isn't a country not well known. I have a good friend that is Armenian. Plus, they Holocaust is talked about in schools since it was part WWII, plus 6million Jews were killed, and almost double that number of Russians and others were killed, over 10Million people dead.
