You should get one that has a good amount of memory since you have lots of things on your computer.

Well, why not Macs, the are really good, but a bit more expensive than PCs.
I would get a Dell personally, like an Inspiron or something, or one of the new Sony Viaos. And get Vista if you get a PC. How much are you willing to spend? If you tell me that I can look up the perfect PC laptop for you.

I dont really like MACs that much. And Id spend round 500-700 bucks

I have to somewhat agree with Narushi. They give you that rainbow wheel which could last for hours and hours. And for the Macbook Air, The CD drive is sold separately and it costs about $99.

The Mac Book Air is HORRIBLE. I have the Mac Book Pro which is amazing(but its $3,000 and Narushi only wants to spend less than $1,000).
So my choices for a computer for less than $1,000 but more than $500 and its a PC :
