Title: Presidential race for the white house.

shinohu - February 3, 2008 11:23 PM (GMT)
I'm not voting, whatsoever because *sigh* I didn't watch the Caucus, N.H., etc.

shinohu - February 3, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
Sorry about x2 post. Bill Richardson is not one of them. If you are voting for Rudy Giuliani, vote Bill Richardson.

SaMaster14 - February 4, 2008 01:03 AM (GMT)
Um... Giuliani backed out and gave all his votes to McCain...

I want McCain to win since Giuliani backed out.

And I'll fix the double post as soon as I get my powers.

blackjack - February 4, 2008 11:42 AM (GMT)
yeah, i liked Rudy A LOT but since he dropped out and since I don't like McCain that much, i like Romney.

narushi - February 4, 2008 08:24 PM (GMT)
I don't really know who to like. My mom likes Hilary.

blackjack - February 4, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
WHAT?!?!?!

Okay...anyway, also eagleman (shinohu) these people dropped out:

Edwards
Thompson
Rudy
Richardson

if you want to be on top of things (like I am :) ) See this link:

one last thing:

Romney was on the famous Sean Hannity program and Sean said he would vote for him:

narushi - February 5, 2008 08:48 PM (GMT)
Eagleman, no flaming

Colonol - February 7, 2008 09:16 PM (GMT)
but BJ Obama won super tuesday! :P

SaMaster14 - February 7, 2008 10:24 PM (GMT)
yes, but Clinton has at least 100 more delegates, since she took california and new York. And mccain is the definate front runner for the republican party by far.

narushi - February 7, 2008 11:07 PM (GMT)
I'm with nyone who wants to stop the war

blackjack - February 7, 2008 11:19 PM (GMT)
...why do people think like that....

the war should not be stopped! if we back out now,

1. we will "lose" the war
2. the reason why at least 1,000 troops died is pointless
3. WE WILL LOOK LIKE QUITTERS TO THE WORLD!

I think we should stay in the war, but I don't agree with Bush on several issues on how he's handling it.

Also, i think Romney just "suspended" his campaign.
So unless he changes his mind or unless something happens by Sunday, it looks like McCain is the GOP front runner.

PS: Colonel, this is a challenge for you.

Give me about 5 noticeable, great things the Obama did. On a nation wide radio show (Sean Hannity), he asked some senators and THEY COULDN'T THINK OF ANY!

narushi - February 7, 2008 11:23 PM (GMT)
Bj, even the USA has got limits. Right now, they dont know when to back up. This isnt Phoenix Wright where you already know the outcome.

SaMaster14 - February 7, 2008 11:45 PM (GMT)
Well I think we should stop the war, but as of now its impossible. We stop: Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims will create civil war destroying Iraq, possible nuclear threats will be made, WW III is a big possibility. We should never have started the war in the first place and now we can never leave. We don't know the mentality of the peoples we are dealing with, since the Muslim extremists believe it is Jihad to blow others up, they think its right and we can't argue with them. We went in for oil(supposedly WMDs, but we didn't find any *hint* hint*). I still think McCain should win, I think him with Giuliani as his VP will be a great match. I don't want Obama to win, and I don't want Romney to win. If I would choose any Democrat to win it would be Clinton(since Bill Clinton would be back in office and I kinda like him).

As of now in number of Delegates Clinton leads the dems and McCain leads the reps.

Colonol - February 8, 2008 01:37 AM (GMT)
BJ, at least He's still in the race, Romney dropped out today

P.S. It's not our war anyway, we're just crowd control

SaMaster14 - February 8, 2008 01:58 AM (GMT)
Well it kinda is our war. We went in there and said ok, your government out, ours in, thats how its gonna work. We basically said that we are now in control of Iraq and we are in a war on "terrorism." Terrorism can never be erased, when someone dies another terrorist just takes his place. It was a bad war to start and now we are stuck, thats all I have to say, so we either have to win, or get another government in there that is capable of controlling the mentality of the people inhabiting Iraq.

Colonol - February 8, 2008 02:00 AM (GMT)
Obama wants to take out 20 squadrons every week for 16 months, we will be gone soon. POOF! everyone is back in the USA

SaMaster14 - February 8, 2008 02:06 AM (GMT)
Yes, and if we pull out no matter what Iraq will fall to pieces, Iran will start fighting over it, the US will be targeted, the "terrorists" win and than we will be targeted with nuclear warfare and World War III begins. See the thing I hate about Obama is that everything he promises just can't be done. Its almost disgusting when you think about it. He is gonna try to make things perfect, fail miserably since he has barely any experience, and than our country will be in turmoil. I wish everything could be as easy as Obama thinks it will be and that everything will all turn out good, but there are so many evil forces that hate us, it just can't be done. That is why we need someone practical like McCain, Obama and Hilary just won't cut it. The only reason Hilary is even a choice in my mind is since she has so much experience, and Bill Clinton will be back in office, plus I know she will surround herself with people who know what they are doing.

Colonol - February 8, 2008 02:11 AM (GMT)
Well last time we voted for a republican, we had 9/11, invaded a country for no good reason, and destroyed our country.

If we didn't ever have bush(should have been Gore) Obama's vision could be a reality.

SaMaster14 - February 8, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
That is true, but its not a reality... Plus, Bush was an Idiot and he surrounded himself with and idiotic cabinet. But there really are no what ifs. Since we don't know how Gore would have reacted to 9/11, that wasn't Bush's fault, no President wants to be faced with having a 9/11 happen the 2nd year of his term.

Colonol - February 8, 2008 02:16 AM (GMT)
yeah and no president can send money to clean up a city his 6th year (sarcasm) :P

blackjack - February 8, 2008 12:59 PM (GMT)
well, if gore was president, he would probably do nothing and then by now, all the skyscrapers in NYC would be gone!

And no..that is not an accomplishment of Obama..he isn't even President yet. Give me something he DID DO! I bet you can't find a good one, which proves my point that he shouldn't be president!

Colonol - February 8, 2008 11:14 PM (GMT)
Bj name 5 things Romney did!

blackjack - February 9, 2008 02:10 AM (GMT)
ok.
-governor of MA
-lowered taxes
-everyone loved them
-against abortion
-strong leader

HOW'S THAT?!?!? :P

Colonol - February 9, 2008 02:34 AM (GMT)
Obama

sen of illinois
against war in Iraq
got famous by protesting in illinois
wants to end poverty
wants to strengthen border patrol (unlike Bush)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :P :P :P

SaMaster14 - February 9, 2008 03:23 AM (GMT)
But most everything you said about Obama were things he WANTS to do, not things hes done in the past. Look at McCain, he was a war hero and was torched, hes been in the political business for a long time and knows what he is doing, hes smart and he will hopefully surround himself with smart people. Obama just gives us false hopes and promises, most everything he says can't be done, its just not possible.

blackjack - February 9, 2008 12:25 PM (GMT)
EXACTLY! Samaster, that's my point! You hit it right on the head!
All of this is things he WANTS to do, not HAS DONE!

I recently acquired lots of info on the candidates.
I will put it on a freewebs site and post the link for you.

http://www.freewebs.com/mmhpolitics

SaMaster14 - February 9, 2008 05:24 PM (GMT)
thanks for the website bj, its very well layed out! And while looking at it, I see that the two people with the most experience and probably most qualified for president are Jonh McCain(for reps) and Hilary Clinton(for dems) and those are probably the two that will be running against each other.

blackjack - February 9, 2008 05:58 PM (GMT)
more info on that site coming soon. just that theirs so many facts and stuff...i estimate it would need a FULL 24 straight hours.

Colonol - February 11, 2008 02:37 AM (GMT)
UGH you two don't give up!

protested against war in Iraq
started church group to end poverty
sen. of Illinois
went to HARVARD!
ran for governor

blackjack - February 11, 2008 11:37 AM (GMT)
better list...
ran for governor: accepted
sen. of IL: accepted
started church group to end poverty: nice but not sure whether = politics
protested against war in Iraq: (he still does) that's his opinion, not what he did
went to HARVARD!:that's very important depends on what he majored on though...

Colonol - February 11, 2008 08:36 PM (GMT)
Bj this was all before he ran for president

blackjack - February 11, 2008 10:35 PM (GMT)
ok...you got me there..but some are not THAT IMPORTANT...

if you REALLY want to know what he did, visit the website i posted and read all about him compared to others.

narushi - February 12, 2008 01:15 AM (GMT)
I guess after all the drop outs, Im for McCain or Clinton

blackjack - February 12, 2008 01:43 AM (GMT)
personally, if i was a democrat, i would vote Clinton, BUT I'M NOT! so, yes McCain

Colonol - February 12, 2008 02:05 AM (GMT)
CLINTON?!?!??!?!?!??!?!? OBAMA!
and probably McCain

SaMaster14 - February 12, 2008 02:31 AM (GMT)
I say Clinton for the dens and mccain for the reps as well. Let's just see what happens, nut I'm almost positive that is the way it will turn out.

blackjack - February 12, 2008 09:23 PM (GMT)
anyone heard of super delegates? they could decide whether clinton or obama. also, did anyone look at the site?

Colonol - February 14, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
Obama's in the lead, where's your Clinton now!!!!! :P

SaMaster14 - February 15, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Obama in the lead just means that McCain is almost a shoe in for president, I'm sorry I will be really scared if Obama becomes President, personlly I think a lot more people would die if he were Pres. than if it were Mccain, since if we do pull out, basically we admit defeat to the extremist terrorists and they come bomb us. :)

blackjack - February 15, 2008 11:48 AM (GMT)
did you hear also that Romney is supporting McCain?

Also, who do you think will become Obama's VP and McCain's VP?
