Description: THIS IS TO HELP PREVENT IDENTITY THEFT!

Here are a few important things that you DO NOT SAY ABOUT YOURSELF.
If you have any of the following on MMH, you have a full 24 hours from the time this was posted to get rid of it. If you have not logged on in a while and just realized this, you have 24 hours since your last log on. If you have not made a change, you will not be able to post for a day. Then, you have another day and so on. IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

DO NOT SAY:

-Name:

No last name. First name or Initial are okay and the same applies to nicknames.

-Location

The closest you can now get to saying your actual town or location is the state you live in. If you live IN a big city (not near one) like NYC, you can say NYC.

-"I go to..."

Do not say where you go to. You can say "I'm going to Karate class." NOT "I'm going to Hung Fu's Karate School". Even worse is "I'm going to Hung Fu's Karate School in Blabla, NJ!" Keep that information to yourself.

-Age

NOBODY NEEDS TO KNOW YOUR AGE! Don't post your real age but you can if you want to. I myself and getting rid of my birthday on the calendar. That information is so easy to get to. That's why I am not in favor anymore of celebrating birthdays on the forum.

-Members are NOT your real friends

You may be FRIENDLY with them online, but unless you REALLY know them , they are not your friends. They are just cyberfriends. You don't know if that cute twenty-year old guy is cute, twenty or even a guy. Treat them like strangers you encounter on a bus. Chat with them, but don't spill your guts to them. They should not be entrusted to provide you with advice about important life issues, or confided in, no matter how tempting it may be.

-Pictures

No pictures of yourself. That is one of the most stupidest things you can do to not protect your identity. Only a complete fool would do that, but I have to post it just in case.

That is it so far.
