Basic Physical Description: Murder is a tall and slender man. He has impeccable tastes, and is often seen wearing a long wool coat, trousers and a shirt in dark colours. He is physically perfect. Not an ounce of body fat on him. He stays in shape by being very active, though no one really knows what he does. A classically handsome man, he manages to turn the heads of men and women alike. Agile when he moves, there is the sense of fluidity when he walks. It is indescribable.
Personality: Though charismatic, charming, and generally likable, there is a dark side to this man. Few know who he really is, as he has been known to give alias’s when he meets people. Given his chosen profession, he often can get information about people when they do not even realize they are telling him. Able to charm the stuffiest of people, he is often found in places that no one would expect. Like the opening of an art gallery, or even within the rooms of the most private of country clubs.
Mutant Powers: From the description of his name, one would think that he kills for a living. But this is quite wrong. Murder is in essence, a murder. Of Ravens. He had the ability to change into a singular large raven, and he is also able to change into a collective murder of ravens. What this means is that when he is in his Murder form, he is technically one being in several, independent bodies. The ravens he changes into range from 5 to 11 separate birds, all able to think for themselves, but also connected like one singular mind.
Murder also has the ability of mimicry. He can pretty much make any sound that a Corvidae would make, as well as being able to mimic nearly any voice, while he is in human form. He often uses this to his advantage. He also uses information gathered by any bird <Corvidae> that he has “spoken to”. From time to time, the birds that he enlists to help will be the eyes and ears that he needs. This information gathered often comes in a the form of a game that he has to interpret when they return to him.
Weaknesses: His main weaknesses are that he in every other aspect, he is human. He will die if he gets shot multiple times, stab him he will bleed. He suffers the same aches and pains as most people. But, as a mutant, he has some unique weaknesses. While in his singular, or murder form, he cannot communicate with humans. He can however communicate with other Corvidae, as well as the “Singular” mind when he is in his murder form.
While in the murder form, if he loses one of his “birds” he will immediately change back into a human male. And until he can replace the lost bird, he will be unable to change into his Murder form. The loss of a bird to him is like losing family, as the bird are often a piece of himself, they are also living creatures. Having to “convince” a free bird to join his “murder” Takes time, and a great deal of convincing. But once a replacement bird joins the “murder” they in essence become a part of the man..
Communication with other Corvidae, and asking said bird to do something for him is a crap shoot. As the “free” birds are not a part of him, they can choose whether or not to do as he asks, or they can do whatever they want. But when a bird does what he asks, they are taken care of in the sense that the rewards the bird. As a “murder” is very hierarchal, they soon to see him as the alpha bird, and the alpha definitely takes care of his own.
Other Abilities/ talents: As a thief, he is able to figure out even the most secure of places. With experience over time, he has learned that there is very little along the lines of security that can keep him out. He loves puzzles, so when he sees a new device, he is often quick to study it and of course defeat it.
As a drifter, he has learned how to blend in anywhere, and seem like he is a native. He is very knowledgeable of the area in which he lives, including all of its dirty little secrets. With ears everywhere, there is little he does not hear about.
Basic History: Born 37years ago, very little is know about the man known as Lukas Rook. He himself cannot remember much, except his earliest memory, he feels a sense of abandonment. He has no idea who his parents are, and the only name he knows, is the one given to him when he was 6 years old. At first, no one wanted the strange dark haired child with the pet Raven, but after a few inquiries, he was soon taken in. He spent all of his time alone, usually off somewhere playing, and talking with the bird that was his companion.
On some sort of medications until he figured out that these meds made him feel.. slow, he soon stopped taking them, hiding the meds. When his body purged itself of the taint, when he was 10, he found out just why he was a little different then the other children at the Orphanage. While out exploring, he came across the extermination of a local murder of Rooks. Seeing this, anger took over and he found that he changed. Attacking the men responsible for the death’s of the birds, he soon took over that part of the woods. It became his home, and a refuge for any Corvidae that was separated from their family group. He would often sneak out and night and spend time taking care of the birds. He soon developed a loyal following.
Having learned from the birds the art of thievery, he soon started to venture into peoples homes, taking things that he wanted, liked and could pawn for cash. Having a knack for theft, he soon amassed quite a collection of things. Having found an old abandoned church, he began hiding his things there, as well as offering the place as a home for the birds that followed him. When he was old enough to leave the orphanage, he had already established himself as a thief, and had lined up jobs, working for people who were unscrupulous. Today, he still takes jobs, never asking the details except what to steal, where to deliver it, and can they afford his half a million deposit, 2.5 million upon delivery.
Currently he has a pet Raven named Poe that goes everywhere with him. This bird is a descendant of the very first raven he had as a pet.

Sample RP: As he stood looking out over the park, the penthouse flat was just what he needed. It was perched high, and above everything else, with a great view of the city. From here, no one could bother him, or his birds. He had very few at this moment, as winter was approaching, the birds that normally came with him had headed for warmer climes. He could not blame them. If he had not this job to do, he himself would be with them, enjoying the warmth of the sun on his ebon wings.
Turning as he heard the familiar caw of Poe, he stepped down from the ledge, and walked towards the flat. He had asked his friend to check out the place that he was supposed to “Visit”. And Poe, along with the other descendants of Nathaniel, had always been the best in gathering information. It was why when a clutch of eggs were lain, he always handpicked one, taking care of it like it was his own. And when the bird hatched, from the time the bird could think, he nurtured the bird, making the bird unique.
Lifting his arm, Poe flew to him, taking up his familiar spot on his left shoulder, gently chattering in his ear, a riddle like game as Lukas walked inside, listening to the snippets of information that he needed. He would need to send Poe out again, but tonight, the bird had done well. “Very well Poe.” He said offering the bird up a treat before letting the bird fly to his favourite perch. It amused Lukas how this bird enjoyed watching television, at times, he would chuckle as he heard the bird chattering, talking to the voices on the television.
