Why was he stuck with the two blockheads? Did he really have some sort of Karmic Debt to Chuck that he would stick him with the trouble makers of the group? Ray, who was just an upstart punk that really needed to have his backside kicked. John, who really just needed to be doused with a rather large bucket of water. And this... Paul kid. he had no idea who this kid was and he wondered if this was really the right team for this kid to be on. And why was he in charge again?

So they were there, in the Danger Room. He had to figure out some sort of scenario for these blockheads to deal with. Since he himself bunked authority, it was coming back to bite him in the ass by having to supervise these three. Plus he was down to his last cigar and that made him cranky. Puffing on it, he looked at the scenarios he could choose and he decided on one where everyone would HAVE to work together.

Pushing in the proper codes, he turned around and said.

" Alright chumps, this is the deal. You three are trapped in a building. There is gas leaking all around you, and the walls are completely unstable. The way you came in has been completely blocked and you are supposed to find one of your teammates who have also gotten trapped in the building. There is a way out, you three just have to find it. Which means, think about what you are doing. And remember what I said about the place being unstable as well as the gas leak. That is all I am going to say."

Before he pushed the final button, where the room would transform, he put the lit cigar out on the palm of his hand, then tucking it away in his pocket. He would be around observing them, in the same places they were so to speak. If they had questions, they could ask him. Plus they could ask for suggestions.. that was if two of them could get past their ego's enough in order to cooperate with each other. Before he hit the enter button he added one more thing. "Oh.. this is also a timed exercise... because in the real world, you don't have all the time in the world to do something like this."

He hit enter and the room changed.

Psion knew that he was in trouble the moment he heard his name under the title of "Wolverine's Team." Paul was the type of young man to spend afternoons napping, reading good books, and quietly enjoying his own existence. His powers were a bit unstable and his attitude was generally reserved if a bit defensive. His teammates were both known as the bad-boys around campus. Berzerker couldn't be bothered to say two words to anybody and instead walked around looking surly all of the time. And Pyro - well, his codename was Pyro. Enough said.

To top it all off, Wolverine was the rebel teacher. He was genuine. He might even have a kind streak. But a little rough around the edges? Definitely. As Wolverine explained what he wanted to make them do, Paul did everything in his power to avoid rolling his eyes. Great. A Gas leak. Perfect for some kid who shoots electric current from his body and another who plays with fire all day.

I'm going to die.

Gulping, he steadied himself as the Wolverine manipulated the system and the scene fell around them. It was dark, dingy, and all around creeptastic. The building smelled of fermaldahyde, manure, dust, and (who knew) natural gas. Psion walked a few feet forward and put his right hand to his temple, trying to get his bearings psionically.

Turning to the others, he spoke quietly. "Apparently we're supposed to be finding a lost teammate somewhere in this building. It's kind of hard with virtual reality, but I think that I might be of some help with that." He paused, realizing that he had never actually been introduced to either of them and therefore they likely had no idea who he was or what he could do.

He tapped his head. "Telepath. I think we should start by heading up those stairs over in the corner- I doubt that it's the way out, but the only other psychic signature that I can feel in this building is definitely somewhere above us."
