Basic Physical Description: Sierra is quiet thin in her human form with dirty blond hair and soft liquid emerald eyes. She tends to wear make up everyday and has a soft pale skin tone. Sierra tends to have an air of a spoiled brat, and that is just fine by her. She likes to look good, and dresses nicely whenever her funds will allow her too.

In her smallest gryphon form, she is about the size of a Pomeranian dog, though she normally keeps her size to that of a Lab. She has golden and ebony feathers, golden scaled forefeet and the hind legs of a lioness, including the tail. Her forebody is that of an eagle, with a sharp ebony beak. Her wingspan is about 8 feet from tip to tip. In her small dragon form, Sierra glistens a metalic silver with a wingspan of nearly 12 feet, being the size of the average Great Dane. The metallic scales adorning Sierra's Dragon body are impenetrable on the top of her body being that there are multiple rows of the hard scales. However, her underbelly is only lightly scaled and bullets and the sharpest metals can pierce through. A normal everyday knife, swung by a normal powered person, however can not.

In her angel form, Sierra looks just about the same as she does in her human form with the exception of her wings. Sierra has an 10 foot wingspan (each wing aprox 5 feet) of ebony feathered wings. The wings are no different than a birds with one exception... hidden at the top of the manus (hand) portion of the wing is a 6 inch sicle talon which Sierra can retract much like a feline's claws. She can use this talon to slice at people if the need presents itself. Sierra can also hit people with her wings and the muscles within her wings are strong enough to allow flight.

Personality: Sierra is a quiet, private person. She doesn't tend to shove herself into situations, instead she sits on the outside and listens and watches and learns. Sierra loves nothing more than to study animals and mythology and can often be found by herself doing just that the majority of the time. She loves to fly and does so primarily in her Gryphon form, though she can also fly in her Dragon or angel form as well. Being that her Gryphon form takes the least amount of energy to sustain, she can be found in this form the most and has been seen, in the human world flying around occasionally.

Sierra loves to spend time in the forest, working on her shifting skills, her forms and her ability to fight in each form. Sierra has mastered the gryphon form, and how to fight in that form and she absolutely loves it. She will often wander around in a smaller version of her full sized gryphon form because she loves the form so much. She also loves tricking people, playing tricks... people sometimes have mistaken her for a cat when she is in this smaller form.

Sierra recently began dancing and has gotten to enjoy power and money a bit, not to mention toying with men and women alike. She has become a bit of a player, though she usually only "plays" if it is going to get her somewhere. Sierra has yet to have a serious relationship and tends to keep herself from getting involved emotionally with anyone. But that wouldn't stop her from flirting or having a fling here or there if the opportunity presents itself.

Mutant Powers: The basis of Sierra's mutation is shape shifting, however she can not shift into anything she wants. Sierra is limited to mythological beings such as dragons, angels and gryphons thus far, though she hopes there is room for further improvement to other mythological creatures such as centaurs, unicorns and mermaids in the future. With the shifting comes somewhat heightened senses. Nowhere near what Logan, Victor or the other ferals experiance, but a bit better than the average humans. While Sierra can shape shift into these mythological beings she can not shift into them in their standard, extreme, sizes. The maximum size Sierra can reach is 10 feet at the shoulder and in dragon form, about 15 feet from snout to tail tip. Sierra's gryphon form is the only of the three forms which does not drain her energy rapidly.

Sierra can not breath fire in her dragon form, however she can spit acidic venom and is still equipped with sharp claws and teeth, and she can fly. In gryphon form, Sierra can also fly and is equipped with a strong beak, a bite strength of 200lbs per sq inch and sharp 10 inch sickle talons on her forefeet.

Sierra can reach speeds of aproximatly 55mph when flying, 70 mph if heading downwards with gravity on her side and she can run around 25mph in her gryphon form. In her dragon form she is much slower, reaching a lumbering 8 mph when running. Through ebony nares and silver nostrils, Sierra can smell things, dead or alive over a mile away. Through amber eyes she can see, when in the air, things over 1000 feet below her with her eagle like eyes.

Much in the same way a parrot can, Sierra can actually speak in her Gryphon form... her words are sharp and hiss like, but being as she can not speak in any other forms, including her human form... she sees this as a privilege. Unlike a parrot, Sierra is not simply mimicing sounds she has heard, she knows what she is saying and holds her human intelligence in all her forms.

In her angel form Sierra has a bit of a weapon, hidden at the top of the manus (hand) portion of the wing is a 6 inch sicle talon which Sierra can retract much like a feline's claws. She can use this talon to slice at people if the need presents itself. Sierra can also hit people with her wings and the muscles within her wings are strong enough to allow flight, carrying up to 300lbs, other than herself. The wings are simply an extension of her shoulderblades and when she consciously shifts into her angel form, they are automatically there. Keeping her angel form does not take much energy at all, as it has very little differences than her human form does. Flying in her angel form, if she is carrying something heavy does take energy and she would need to rest after a time, much like a bird would.

Sierra can fly in all three of her forms.

Weaknesses: As previously mentioned. Sierra is, for the most part, mute she is unable to speak loudly and can merely whisper. This is an apparent side effect from her ability to shift into her dragon form. Sierra thinks it has something to do with her ability to produce acidic venom in that form. Sierra was able to speak until the first time she shifted to her dragon form, when she shifted back, she was no longer able to speak and she was in a great amount of pain in her throat. When her parents took her to the doctor the doctor said he had never seen such burn damage to someone's throat and was at a loss for how it happened. As Sierra was not about to admit she was a freak, she never explained what she had been doing before it happened and simply learned to live with it. The doctors assumed she inhaled something that caused the burns. For the most part she does not talk, as it is very hard to hear her anyway and just draws more attention to her inability to vocalize.

Another weakness is the energy drain she can experience. Her dragon form puts such an extreme drain on her (when in largest size) that she can only hold the form for around 20 minutes, in miniature dragon size she can sustain the shift for an hour. Her angel form does not drain her too much and can be sustained for about 18 hours. Sierra's miniature gryphon form (and her favorite) can be sustained as long as the angel form, about 18 hours, however when in full gryphon size, about 10 feet at the shoulder, she can only sustain the shift for about 8 hours, 4 if she spends a great deal of that time flying. If she stays in her dragon form for 20 minutes she must wait 20 minutes before shifting again, however, she will not be able to take her full sized dragon form again for at least 8 hours. If in her Mini Gryphon form for the full 18 hours, she must wait 8 hours (must rest the entire 8 hours) before she can shift again.

Another weakness is her acidic venom. The venom is useful, however it causes painful burns in Sierra's throat which can take a few days to heal completly. Everytime she spits the acid, the wounds reopen. The damage does not progress, and no further damage is done, but the bleeding will continue for a few days each time and the pain from the burns is pretty extreme, often causing her to go without eating or drinking for days which in turn causes dehydration. She has been hospitalized a few times due to her dehydration.

Sierra has not attempted to shift into other forms as of yet, to her best guess, she has to "teach" herself to shift into other forms and has yet to try to learn other forms just yet. She intends on teaching herself other forms, slowly, but for the time being has not. Due to the fact that shifting into larger forms does take quiet a bit of energy, she is saving her energy until she is more settled in. She does want to learn to shift into a centaur, phoenix and minatuar if possible.


Other Abilities/ talents:When it comes to understanding an animal's body and body language, Sierra is a pro. Sierra has always loved being around animals and has always been able to understand them in a way most people can not. It has nothing to do with her mutation, it just is a natural thing, almost like the horse whisperrer, it just is.

Sierra is also incredibly smart, when not being mentally influenced. She excelled at school, having extreme book smarts and an extreme will to do well. Now that she is with other mutants, she has an extreme will to do well still, however, she has become slightly selfish and wishes to do extremely well for herself. Power is good and she feels she has some power over the things which happen to her now.

Sierra is an extremely loyal being. She does not make many friends because she does not really speak, and those who are her friends have her complete loyalty. She would not be caught dead hanging around those who oppose her "Family" or who her Family do not like.


Basic History: Sierra was born on a cold winter's night to Even and Lily Johnson. Sierra was the youngest of 8 children raised in a strictly Christian family and being the youngest, was somewhat spoiled. Sierra excelled in animal science and mythology in high school and graduated with high honors in science and English. Sierra has known she was different since she was 5. She was reading a book about dragons and while she was so involved in the book, her hands began growing scales and claws. As Sierra shared a room with her sister, she didn't allow it to go any further and by closing the book and beginning to think about her hand as it normally was she was able to get her skin to change back to normal within minutes.

However, now curious Sierra began spending alot of time on her parents 20 acre farm, away from people, studying Dragons and Gryphons and other mythical beings. Her first full shift was that of a Gryphon, it was during this shift that she had her first injury due to her forms... Being that she had wings, of course, she figured she could fly. She climbed a large tree and jumped, breaking her leg in three places and ending up sleeping outside while her parents looked for her that night thinking she had run off.

Sierra ended up staying in the hospital for 2 days during that fiasco, having to go through a few Psych evaluations to make sure she hadn't tried to kill herself or anything of that nature. Sierra spent the next 13 summers learning how to shift into her three main forms gryphons, dragons and angels. After the first time Sierra shifted to her dragon form and learned she could spit acid, she became nearly mute, with her only ability being able to whisper in her human form. The doctors were amazed by this, studied her and found out her throat was burned beyond all recognition and they were suprised she was even alive with the extent of the damage. The burns have never caused her any other trouble except for when she spits venom, then the burns reopen again and bleed painfully.

Sierra thinks it may actually be the blood which has the acid in it, though she is not sure. When she spits, it is deep obsidian in color, not red as one would assume blood to appear.

After high school Sierra went to college for a year and a half, taking double the amount of classes as a normal person and getting her AA degree. Sierra began working as an online science teacher for a nearby high school where she specializes in Animal Science and Mythology right out of college. Doing online classes prevented it from being known that she was more or less mute. At night, Sierra dances for extra cash and has gotten to enjoy it quiet a bit.

Here's my only thing.. tell me more about why she can only take certain forms. Does she have some sort of psychological block? When her powers emerged was she reading a fairy tale?

And a little more info on the "Angel" form, you didn't talk about that one as much and I'm curious as to what all she can do in that form..

Bad Cop Avalanche here. I'd like a little more on her angel form myself. The physical description is good, but I'd like some elaboration on the powers section on her angel form.
