Title: The Hellions: The First Meeting.
Description: Tag: The Hellions; all members

Berzerker - February 6, 2008 12:15 AM (GMT)
So why in topside had he agreed to do this? Ah, right, because he was a 'co-founder' and the 'co-leader' of the outfit. And here he was, having only decided on this whole thing because he had thought that Hellion would be too interested in leadership to request any social interaction from him.
But the first meeting of the Hellions had been scheduled and as fate would have it (or complete coincidental bad luck, as Berzerker preferred to believe), Hellion was called off to a Danger Room session with Binary. Of course.

So here he was, sitting in the dining room, with possibly the world's best disinterested expression and a piece of paper on the table in front of him. It was late afternoon, just past four, and most of the mansion residents were busy enough that they would have no company in the usually crowded dining room. The date was December 12th. Apparently a good number for the official beginning of the Hellions, in the namesake mutant's opinion.

The piece of paper in front of him was something that Hellion had prepared. Apparently the teen had rather gotten into this whole business and was taking it far more seriously than Berzerker had first expected. And apparently, now that Hellion would not be able to make it, or would at least be rather late, he was supposed to fill in. And speak.
This did not bode well.

To top it off, he didn't even know who the fourth and fifth members were, though Hellion had given their names as 'Gaia' and 'Prodigy', and he knew them to be girls. Well, they had all gotten the note that Hellion had passed out (which had given the time and location of the apparently exclusively secret meeting), so he presumed that they'd come shortly. Not that he was expecting anyone to be on time, if the two girls were anything like himself or Pyro.

Pyro - February 6, 2008 02:00 AM (GMT)
Being fashionably late wasn't something that Pyro pulled upon himself, he just didn't have the will power to be on time, nor did he really care. While he was having a blast playing with his overused lighter in the back woods of the academy he decided that he should start off to the meeting that was introduced to him earlier that day, or maybe week. Being bad with times and dates had caught up to him once more as he tired to remember on his walk back to the building but he soon didn't care anymore, didn't matter if he was on time, he could always be filled in.

It was late afternoon and the sun was beginning to dull, Pyro noticed this as clouds passed over the ball of fire making the sky and light around him a bit darker. He grunted as he passed by other mutants when he entered the front common room, it was over crowded for some strange reason. While ignoring these people he made his way to the back room that he had known to be where the meeting was being held. It was a room he didn't know all to well so he was surprised that the hallway was dead.

With everyone being so busy the Dining room was going to be quite and a safe place to hold the meeting. As he stepped inside he wasn't at aw the room was empty, all but Ray, Berzerker. He gave no facial movement and no sound as he closed the door behind him and looked around. The room was quite and the walls bugged the hell out of them, he had always wished they would let him pick the colors instead, but it will never happen.

Pyro noticed the dull look on Berzerkers face and couldn't help but crack a small laugh, in his head. He knew that look and he knew it well.

"You look so excited," he said while stuffing his hands in his pockets and leaning against the west wall from the door. Pyro was feeing a bit off the point at the time, he was having an off day all together.

While not knowing the exact reason for this meeting he didn't care to much seeing as he couldn't find anything to do.

Cho Yon Han - February 6, 2008 04:01 PM (GMT)
Prodigy was dressed in a simple white lace dress, delicate and thin but decidedly unwestern, it looked more like a fitted petticoat than a dress. The crumpled piece of paper sat in her lap, the place and time staring back at her. She didn't know why she was still looking at it, she didn't need to, her eidetic memory had it committed already.

Suddenly she stood, crumpled the note, and stuffed it in one of the light pockets of the dress, and almost jumped from her perch, there was nothing to be lost form checking it out. Besides her isolation in this place meant that if a group of people wanted to be friendly she was not about to turn that away.

She wrapped lightly on the door with her knuckles before letting herself into the room without waiting for a reply. She took in the 2 people already in the room. She took a seat and placed her hands primly on her knee. 'I assume it was one of you who sent the note?' she asked and turned from one to the other.

She had not known what to expect from the mutant or mutants who had agreed to an enigmatic meeting in the dining room.

Gaia - February 6, 2008 08:20 PM (GMT)
Gaia wasn't one to turn down an invitation, especially when it meant that she might be able to meet some new people. Even with people all around her she still felt alone at times and she figured it might as well be a good chance to maybe get to know someone besides her roommate. So, since she was going she needed to get down to the dining room. Thankfully, it didn't take her long to find her way around the mansion, when she had first gotten here it had seemed so big, now it seemed friendly and not to huge.

To the dinning room she went rather quickly since she didn't want to be late, yet at the same time she did not want to be on time, maybe slightly late, that sounded rather good. As she approached she couldn't help but start to hear what was going on inside heads and what they were feeling. The first thing was bordum, then something else. Figuring that she might as well make an entrance she let herself float into the air lightly.

Gaia entered the room and already knew that three people were in there. It was easy to tell since they felt and sounded different. Personally she thought she was the best dressed in, tight black pants made of something called leather, although it came form a cow so she didn't know why it wasn't called cow fur. Besides the pants she had on a nice button down shirt that didn't stop at her waist, it continued down to reach just about her knees. Her pin hair shown brightly as she settled down on the ground.

She tilted her head glancing over at everyone placing them in her list of people inside her head. Gaia also peeked inside heads to get names and some information. “Hello, all.”

Berzerker - February 6, 2008 09:42 PM (GMT)
[OOC: To clear up any confusion, this thread would be after all members had accepted invitation to the Hellions. We'll presume that Hellion invited Gaia and Prodigy off screen a week or so ago. It would be the first meeting as a group however, and they might not all know each other yet; Berzerker only knows Pyro as of the moment.]

Surprisingly, Pyro was the first to enter. Surprise in the relative sense, of course, as no such surprise showed on Berzerker's face. At the other male's comment he merely raised an eyebrow in slight response, not bothering to give a verbal one nor a greeting. No point starting the conversation until everyone had arrived, and he would be saying the very minimum indeed.

The two didn't have to wait long until the third entered the room, a calm Asian girl who Berzerker assumed was either Prodigy or Gaia. The girl seemed to be pretty well mannered considering the fact that she had knocked before entering. She had a demure, reserved grace about her, and he only nodded once at her question. Technically Hellion had sent the note, but close enough; he didn't want to bother explaining Hellion's absence until the last member had arrived.

Which was only a minute after the first girl. And the entrance was unmistakeable with the girl hovering in the air as she entered. She had a more ethereal look about her, but that was all Berzerker bothered to notice, as now all the members called had gathered. When the last entrance sat down, he finally suffered the first sentence.
"Hellion requested this meeting. He's not here. I'll be talking."
Berzerker was nothing if not concise. With the three sentences and far more than his average conversation, he glanced around the room once before adding one last note.
"Name's Berzerker."
His tone and gaze indicated that he would take no other forms of address, and that they were to follow suit with their introductions (because he surely wasn't about to do that for them, not to mention he didn't know which girl was which yet).
