Well, thought I'd belatedly start a Bengals team thread. In summation, I like the team's emphasis on re-signing their own guys. Some under the radar type signings such as TE Tony Stewart, (backup) LBs Hannibal Navies and Marcus Wilkins, reserve OL Scott Kooistra, RB Kenny Watson, and DBs Rashad Bauman and Anthony Mitchell provide continuity and competition on special teams and on the depth chart. Re-signing starters Bobbie Williams, the RG, and FB Jeremi Johnson in the past week are big. The Bengals are still trying to re-up the remaining starting offensive linemen with the probable of exception of C Rich Braham, who may not play more than one more year. The remaining starters currently have contracts which expire after the upcoming season, so lots of money will end up being spent there. The biggest outside free agent signings are Sam Adams and Dexter Jackson, who figure to be starters.
