AdamJShowtime - February 22, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)
this trade has been rumored for at least a week. now the knicks have

PG- Marbury, Robinson, Francis
SG- Francis, Crawford, Richardson
SF- Rose J, Richardson, Woods, Lee
PF- Taylor, Frye, Rose M, Lee
C- Curry, James, Butler

Crawford is on his way outta town next. To denver for Nene?

Q Rich also on his way out.

New York needs to move some of these guys to acquire salary space. they just have to many bodies.

I heard a rumor earlier today that involved the Knicks getting Kevin Garnett for Hardaway, Frye, and a 1st round pick, but that won't happen now. This is a stupid move by the Knicks: Marbury, Crawford, Francis, and J Rose will not play well together.

From the Magic standpoint, I like it. All the free cap space to sign Dwigth Howard down the road and to make them a young team that, with experience, could do some damage in 2-3 years.

this is by far the most expensive backcourt ever.

I like the move for the Magic quite a bit. For one, Francis is a guy who'll just never win. Basically, he's Steph Marbury in that regard. It'll be fun trying to watch those two, Nate Robinson, Jalen, Q and Crawford all try and play together. God only know what the Knicks are doing. I like Frye a lot, but I think people are starting to overrate how good he's going to be.

The Magic are now really young. They build around Howard and guys like Milicic and Ariza are great gambles as they cost next to nothing, are young and have tremendous upsides. They're looking ahead to that 2007 free agent class which could be sensational.

this helps the Knicks how?

Chris Horwedel - February 23, 2006 08:19 PM (GMT)
It doesn't. This is just Isiah showing off his lack of skills as a GM. I honestly believe that he's the worst GM in basketball today, hell maybe in pro sports today.

What a dream for journalists he is though. Can't you just see him sitting around on the internet all day going from rumor site to rumor site looking for the next guy he's supposedly interested in and then trading for him later that day.
