Texans- Reggie Bush RB USC
Unless they trade down I don't think they can not pick the best player in the draft.

Saints- Matt Leinart QB USC
They need a franchise signal caller for their future.

Titans- Vince Young QB Texas
Steve McNair took a few years of riding the pine before starting and Young will need at least one.

They have a hole at LB and get the safest pick in the draft.

A power back to replace Lewis.

Eagles- Vernon Davis TE Maryland
Eagles get a freak of nature and a pass catcher for McNabb.

Falcons- Wiston Justice OT USC
A tackle that can protect Vick.

A replacement for Taylor. The phins need to get younger.

Vikings- Demeco Ryans LB Alabama
A true football player, and a position of need.

Maybe a FS or CB.

Chargers- Santonio Holmes WR Ohio St.
Gives the young Rivers another target.

A pass rusher for that defense.

A speedy little versatile DB.

A florida guy for a florida guy.

Buccaneers- Ernie Simms LB FSU
A speedy cover LB for that defense.

A big target a 6-7 for Palmer.

here are the picks i dont like at all, bunkley isnt a 3-4 tackel, you say it yourself, to short

the eagles have a stud in lj smith, why get davis

the steelers center is solid, no need for him

DoctorDoom - March 2, 2006 01:22 AM (GMT)
Isn't Vince Wilfolk, Casey Hampton and Jamal Williams all 6' 2" and shorter?

Without TO a two TE set like they use to run with Lewis and Smith would probably work with Smith and Davis.

Isn't Hartings going to be 34 next season and going into the last season of his contract?

No way Williams falls to Detroit. GB picks him at #5.

BengalFan - March 2, 2006 04:50 AM (GMT)
It's all speculation obviously, but I don't even know if Williams is available when Green Bay picks. I am one who thinks that Bush to the Packers isn't totally out of the question. Despite his incredible abilities, the fact he's not perceived as a 20-25 carry a game back is going to affect his draft grade I'm thinking. I think Cutler may go ahead of Young as well, but again it's very early. Bunkley to the Browns is interesting, but I think he'd be a better pick for a team like the Lions, but who knows if they grade him that highly? Pope to the Bengals isn't out of the question I don't suppose, but I wish they'd go defense, and I'm thinking DB is the way they may go there.

DoctorDoom - March 5, 2006 10:14 PM (GMT)
The Packers need a LB just as much as a DE. So I don't know how you say they won't take Hawk.

And BengalFan I agree this is speculation, but who do you take out of the top five? I don't think Vince Young is worth a top five pick but everything I hear is the Titans want him and he is very Steve McNair like. If they don't take him Williams or Ferguson would be my guess for their pick.

Bolts - March 5, 2006 11:19 PM (GMT)
Hawk is a great talent who is certainly worthy of going top ten in a strong draft. But Williams is the kind of player who in most years would be an easy choice anywhere in the top 3 and in a lot of years he would have gone number one. I agree with BengalFan that before its all said and done Mario Williams might go higher than number 5.
