Description: Power Poll After Sim 2 Season 1

Dynodamon - December 15, 2007 08:38 PM (GMT)
The Washington Wazzu's edition of PP after Sim 2 of Season 1.

1. Phoenix Suns
No doubt the Phoenix Suns are the best team in the league after a 15-1 start to the season, which is a league best. Jefferson, Nash, and Kirilenko lead the team which outscores its opponents by an average of 16ppg. They are the clear favorite to win the NRSL Championship Series this year.

2. Houston Rockets
The Rockets boast a 8-4 record which is tied for 2nd place in the league. A team of Camby, Iverson, Boykins, and Okafor lead a team that will likely face the Suns in the Conference finals. A 2 assists per turnover ratio ranks 2nd best in the league.

3. New Jersey Nets
The Nets are also tied for the 2nd best record in the league and are currently leading the Eastern Conference. Though not a clear favorite, their lineup of Carter, Jefferson, and Kidd is one of the best in the league.

4. Cleveland Cavaliers
Coming off a trip from the Championship finals, the Cavaliers have shown that they aren't a fluke. With Lebron leading the team, and 4 other players scoring in double digits, this team will contend for the Eastern Conference crown.

5. Los Angeles Clippers
With a 9-6 record, the Clippers are on the road to a 2nd place finish in their division. Maggette and Brand both score above 20ppg, on an offense thats strength is clearly on the inside.

6. Orlando Magic
With a 10-6 record, the Magic currently hold the 3rd place spot in the East. Howard is a dominating force on the inside with 26ppg and 12rpg but without a proven SG or PF, the Magic will have a hard time competing for a 1st or 2nd seed.

7. Boston Celtics
The Celtics own a 9-7 record, but with 2 dominating scorers in Garnett and Allen, this could be a team that could make a move. A lack in the PG and C areas could slow this team down though over the long stretch of games remaining.

8. Atlanta Hawks
At 7-6, the Hawks have one of the best lineups in the league, but so far, it hasn't produced much for them. Johnson, McGrady, and Amare for a scary team, but unless the team steps up overall, they will have to be content with a middle seed in the east.

9. Los Angeles Lakers
On the other side of Los Angeles, the Lakers hold a 6-5 record which is good enough for 4th in the West. With Bryant and Pierce leading this high-powered team, they could make a run, but if they don't improve a lacking defense, things could get out of hand.

10. New Orleans Hornet
Being the last remaining team above .500, the Hornets in the 6th hole in the Eastern race. Paul, West, and Stojakovic lead a team that has proven to be solid on offense, but less than stellar on defense.

11. Memphis Grizzlies
At 6-6, the Grizzlies has exceeded expectations but as a team, they are being easily outscored by their opponents. With Rudy Gay leading the team, the Grizzlies will be a force to be looked out for in the seasons to come.

12. Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets hold a 6-6 record on the season as they own the 6th seed in the West. Behind 3 power players in Ming, Anthony, and Odom, their combo could lead them to a higher seed if the SG position becomes more stabilized.

13. Indiana Pacers
The 6-6 Pacers have proven to be a very strong defensive team as they hold the 7th place in the East. O'Neal and Granger star for a team that has held it's opponents under an average of 92ppg.

14. Detroit Pistons
The 8th seed Pistons at 7-7 have also shown to be a strong minded defensive team giving up only an average of 93ppg. They have a very rounded lineup but no players has been able to significantly step up and lead the way for this team.

15. Portland Trailblazers
At 7-8 and holding the 7th seed in the West, the Trailblazers have on offense. Blake, Gasol, and Roy hold a team together that only manages 93ppg on offense.

16. Sacramento Kings
The Kings hold the last and final seed in the Western Conference with a 5-6 record. With 4 players scoring in double-digits, this team has a chance to move up the ladder if they can fix their terrible assists per turnovers ratio.

17. Toronto Raptors
18. Milwaukee Bucks
19. Miami Heat
20. Golden State Warriors
21. Utah Jazz
22. San Antonio Spurs
23. Seattle Sonics
24. Dallas Mavericks
25. New York Knicks
26. Washington Wizards
27. Chicago Bulls
28. Philadelphia 76ers
29. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wizards should be the #1 ranked team, but due to legal situations they were placed in a different but honorable location.
