Ask away! Any player can answer a question directed at them or a general team question can be answered by the GM.

Well, obviously the start veterans do not like the idea of the youth movement because they obviously want to win. But if they give the team time and stay with there long contracts they wont regret it. Even though there is the possibility they may be traded it will pay off for some. On the contrary the bench players and role veterans like the fact they can pass there NBA knowledge onto the younger players.

Marbury and I aren't great friends but its not like we hate each other. I don't bother him off the court, he doesn't bother me off the court. He liked the idea of switching to SG, where he can play off the ball more, and try and get more open shots then usual.

I felt we needed to make a move to help the team in the long run and a little bit now. Crawford was a good player but we did not like the 4 years left of around 7-9 million per year. It will help out cap situation for the future and like I said above it helps out future player wise.

I realize he was one of our valuable shooters. But when you are the new GM of a sinking dynasty with a big cap situation, you need to make major moves to help this team in the future and that is what I did with the trade. We still have some good outside shooters like Marbury and even Crittenton can step back and hit a shot when needed.

Did you think the talent you got for him is respectable?

Yes I do. We received a good young PG that I feel the team needed. Marbury is not getting any younger and I wanted to test him out at SG, where he gets his wish of shooting. We also received a veteran PG in Eric Snow who will help Javaris develop some of his passing/handling skills. Snow is a leader for any team he goes to, he has a great basketball IQ. Not to mention he can help Javaris on the defensive side too.
