Sealed Form Appearance is a 18-inches katana with a gard shapped like a cross.
Its initial release command is "Summon Light, Kiyounemaru." Its shikai appearance is a 40-inches hallberd like this:
Offense:
Its ability is to channel reiatsu from the hilt of the blade by rotating the hallberd using his two hands like a baton then when he muttered "Awai Aizu"(Light Signal) then fire them consecutively like firing a rifle.
Healing:
He can turn Kiyounemaru into a healing aid by when he said "Assayishita Chiyu" (Healing Light), the hallberd will turn into a sphere-shaped cross that can heal wounded allies by simply placing his hands within the range of the one he will heal.
Defense:
He can turn Kiyounemaru into a complete defense by spinning and rotating a sphere like a baton that will form a shield.
Origin
History:
Kisuge is an adopted-son of Roronoa Zoro. Zoro decided to adopt Kisuge ,after he became free from being imprisoned in Seiretei, due to a fact that the child is dying. He took Kisuge to anywhere he went. So Kisuge treat Zoro like his real father even though he usually calls Zoro "Zoro-kun" because Zoro looks old whenever he's called "Father or Dad."
Kisuge joined the Shinigami Academy shortly when Zoro became 11th Division Captain. He's considered as a child prodigy because of being excellent in Kidou and being the youngest shinigami that had graduated in his batch. After he graduated, he became the 10th Seat in the 11th Division. The 4th Division which is the medical Division wanted to get him because of his healing powers. But he refused.
When Zoro left the Soul Society, he took Kisuge with him. When Zoro became a vizard, Kisuge wanted Zoro to teach him but Zoro always refuses because He's always telling him he's too young to be it. But in fact, a child like him can't hold too much reiatsu and his powers won't work yet to control a hollow powers.
