Title: Where Are You From?
Description: Nicki fans from around the world!

Solium - February 12, 2006 12:13 AM (GMT)
As our fan site grows I am really astonished with the diverse group of members that have joined from all over the world!

I know we have members from the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia.

While many members have stated their location in the Welcome Thread I thought it would be fun to put together a list of where Nicki Clyne fans reside. Of course this is voluntary and you can list the country and not the city if you like.

I will begin this thread:

I reside near Tampa, Florida US.

Lex - February 12, 2006 12:40 AM (GMT)
I live in a small town called Goch, about a 100 miles north of Cologne, Germany. It's located at the Dutch border and the river Rhine. Try to find it on a map :)

Darth Coffee - February 12, 2006 02:23 AM (GMT)
I live in Central Texas, near Waco

North of Germany, Lower Saxony, the town is called Hameln (50 km from Hannover).

NibblerFan - February 12, 2006 08:20 PM (GMT)

London, England, born and bred.

London's a great city. Big, noisy, dirty and Londoners are generally unfriendly to strangers.

It's my kind of town. :D

Crowhopper - February 13, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
Denver, Colorado. GO AVS!

(I just realized I would probably alienate half the cast of the show with that, being that many them are from the Vancouver area....especially Aaron Douglas. Huge Canucks fan.)

Hey I've been there! I remember just north of you at Dunseith there being a turtle made of steel rims.

I'm from LanCALLYster County, Pennsylvania. It's about an hours drive west of Philadelphia. This area is known for it's "plain folk" such as the Amish :ph43r: and Mennonites. Every once in a while I think I see Cally among the locals. Well I have to go, some of the elders are coming and I can't let them find my internet connection here in the barn or I'll end up being shunned. ;)

Excellent. Are you saying that Nicki looks like an Amish :ph43r: country girl. You've got a point. I could see her as an extra in 'Witness'.

Maybe some of the New Caprica population will shun technology? They'd have a good justification. user posted image

Lex - April 24, 2006 06:48 PM (GMT)
I was in Hungary on vacation, about 10 Years ago. Beautiful country, nice Landscapes.
I was on Lake Velence (sp?), south of Budapest

aniko11 - April 24, 2006 07:12 PM (GMT)
Great! I'm glad you liked being in Hungary. :)

Lake Velence is very far away from the town I live (It's about 400 kms away). I live in a little town in the north-east corner of the country.

Hi all.

A big fan from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

Nicki's a great actor and versatile on the screen. Hopefully we will see a bit more of her in BSG this coming season!

We topped the 100 member mark! Technically I think that includes 10 or so ppl that never verified their membership but I am not sure. I will have to look into actual member count.

Knaves - September 1, 2006 07:44 PM (GMT)
wow, for reason I thought that there were more people on this forum. There is decent activity even in the off season.

It's sure to pick up in activity once S3 gets underway...and the screencaps to go with them.

I expect traffic will pick up in season three as well. I would also add, that a hundred members for a relatively unknown actress in a supporting role on a fan board is awesome. I have seen actors with their own boards with 10 times the exposure with less members.

I don't think Nicki would still be considered "relatively unknown actress" with S3 being ready to launch. We have been trying to know her since the Mini.
:cornmuffins:

Did we ever find out how the other actors view her popularity?
