Title: Spoiler Reminder
Description: The do's and do not's

Solium - February 27, 2006 02:26 PM (GMT)
Hi!

I was asked by a few members to remind everyone of the spoiler rules while we head into the final two episodes of the second season. Generally no spoilers allowed before the airing of an episode.

You may post a spoiler making the text the background color of this board. Which in this case would be white. First add a visible warning that you are going to post a spoiler then include the spoiler in white text. let the members know they need to hi-light the text with their mouse in order to read the spoiler.

Of course any comments to the spoiler should not reflect what the spoiler is either.

As this board was created by a US member, the spoiler rule applied to any event before it aired in the US on the East cost. However since this site has gone international, we should be careful with our comments so not to ruin it for others outside of the states. In fact I might include a spoiler section for this reason. (More on that later)

If you are not sure how to add white text to your spoiler it should look like this:

CODE
 [COLOR=white]Your spoiler goes here[/COLOR]

Edit: Here is the new thread for discussing Lay Down Your Burden's 1&2. Spoilers maybe included after the episodes air on the East cost of the US.

Season Two Final Discussion

A big thank you to all who take the time to disguise the evils that are user posted imageSPOILERSuser posted image.

I had to stop posting on the official board because of the plethora of spoilers appearing in thread titles?!?

Why do I detest spoilers? Why do I duck for cover when I hear the sound of Taiko drums? Why do I, even, shy away from watching movie trailers?

Well that's easy...

When I've decided I'm going to read a book I don't pick it up and flip through find some interesting scenes, and chapters, and have a quick preview read to see what I've got in store. I don't hunt out a synopsis of the first half of the book, or ask friends if there are any interesting plot twists in store.

So why should I lessen my experience of movies or incredible TV series, like BSG, by even 1%.

Patience is a virtue.

But of course I like to chat about them afterwards, and on that note, this is a US Fan Site. So I am happy to assume that 9pm-10pm-ish US time on a Friday night is when the celebrations for another fantastic episode of BSG, and another fantastic Nicki performance :D , begins.
