Well it is back in the homeland for a few hours now. I'm sure there's some who stuck it out from the evening before to get a jump on the festivities.

I went to a festival today and most of it got rained out. I did put some green food coloring dye in yesterday's beer. I might add some to my beer tonight too.

I have been looking to see if the Catholic Church has a Saint Cally listed, the closest is Saint Calliope of the Eastern Church - http://www.comeandseeicons.com/bmp11.htm - who apparently was the original fate of our own dear and beloved crewman specialist.

While thinking about this and the whole mythology theme for the and I thought of the Hindu Goddess Kali - a dark goddess, but this in turn lead me (don't ask how it lead there, I don't even know myself) back to the long days of getting greek beat into my head (although using the book to try to learn through impact osmosis does not work) , right after the latin, and the word for good or beautiful was similar, unfortunatly this would be 'kala' (the last a long),
HOWEVER the modern greek word has changed to 'Kali' which means good or beautiful.

After re-reading that it would seem like I am an obsessive person who spends hours thinking about these things, but all that thought happened over the space of a mere couple of minutes.
