It's been a while since I posted anything on this board and I should really start something!
Is anyone else watching the webepisodes? The plot is intriguing me so far, so many new characters, so many new contraversies. Tyrol is a major part and the first image of the first episode was of Cally, I think. I can't check now that it's been two days and that episode is down! Suppose I can find it on youtube or something, ah well...

Thoughts?

The webisode is not what i expected. It is actually far more involved with the series regulars than I thought it would be.

Cally, Tyrol, Tigh are prominent in the first webisode, and they are giving previous minor characters, Jammer and Duck an opportunity to develop their characters.

I like the approach so far. I wish they give Nicki more lines however. Jammer and Duck had more lines than she had. Its really time to let her spread her acting wings and give her meater scripts IMHO.

True, I hope they don't turn into the Chief's "wife" in the way that is all that she becomes. But I think we can pretty much be sure that whenever a story revolves around the Chief in some way, she'll be involved. I think it's about time for a "Cally" episode! Not just an eq where she gets shot and bites a guys ear off to prevent a rape, or being beaten up, or shooting Boomer... or something. She needs to develop and not just be a victimized girl anymore.
Well, her shooting Boomer wasn't really being victimized, but she sure was by the many Boomer fans! Nevermind that she's a Cylon and they have many copies...
We only have ONE Cally!

I think I should mention first that their is Ron Moore Blog at Scifi.com regarding the Webisodes. Gonna make a point in on this in a bit.


I have a feeling we'll defininitely see more of Cally in future Webisodes. What suprised me at first was how short they were. Then thinking retrospectively, perhaps this was done for those users who don't have high broadband speeds.
The second Webisode didn't feature Cally at all...but given shortness of the webisodes..and the fact that other characters are getting the chance to be used..(EG...Jammer) well I understand..and hang in there..lol

Now if you have read Ron Moore's blog he credits the cast participating in the Webisidodes. You'll note a great deal of mainline characters/actors are not present. Infact the only two "Main"Characters in the webisodes listed are Colonel Tigh and Chief Galen Tyrol. Next Chartacter listed is Nicki's "Cally". None of the actors left on Galactica or Pegasus are mentioned...and rather remarkably Mary McDonell, Grace Park, Lucy Lawless and Trisha Heifer are not credited. (Edit: No Baltar or Starbuck either...wow!)

This would suggest we are definitely goint to see More of "Cally" the question is of course..just casual walkby's or actual lines? I feel quite certain Aaron and Nicki are finally going to get some good conversation lines together. "Resistance" as the Webisodes are titiled ...is going to portray the development and consequences of resistance cells and concepts of breaking the laws. I think we will see friend argue with friend...familys argue..*Stop* There is only one family mentioned so far in the webisodes the Tyrol's. Friends arrested....Families broken apart *Stop* refer to lines above.

We are just rollling with the Webbies..now perhaps I am reading too much into a RDM blog...but I am quite confident we shall see Nicki with more acting and more lines in future webisodes.

It looks like Galactica Station here BSG Webisodes is the most consistent place to find or download the Webisodes.

I was hoping to see more of Cally, but then I think that we shall see more of her in the actual episodes.

Hmm...Pehraps the bulk of the epis are going to be character development introducing new faces,..however Tyrol and Taul have been I think in all of them...Cally being #3 in what I said earlier in this thread..perhaps sometime is beiig spent developing Duck and Nora. Tough to do in three minutes!

Yeah, wow is right. Happy to see Cally, sad to see what happened...
And now we know the gender of Cally's baby!

I know she's older than she looks, heck, shes only a few weeks younger than me, but when she was holding her baby on the ground like that it was almost like she was a child as well... did anyone else get that feeling? Laying there, terrified, totally helpless.
She does seem to be maturing more as a person though, I've never seen her pray before in the show.

You may need to downlowed the DivX codeces here if you don't have them. You don't need the player just the codeces and you should be able to play most general video files. Otherwise I have no idea how to help you.
