Without giving away too many spoilers, for anyone who has seen the DVD extended version of the espisode Pegasus, are there any new scenes with out favorite earbiting, cylon slaying, viper fixing deckhand of ours, Specialist Cally?

Can you give us a vague idea of what they are, Battlestar Wiki has some hints, but they are lacking in artistic description. Battlestar Wiki's one note on a new scene with Cally is 'The deck gang around Chief Tyrol and Cally receive spare parts from Pegasus.' Anything anyone can add?

Yes, I heard she has extra screen time in the extended cut but I don't know anymore than you do at this point.

Ok, I finally got ahold of the extended version, and there are quite a few new/extended scenes for Cally. Five total sequenses that are mostly extended to what we got to see from the original, (it has been a while since I have seen it and since I am borrowing the 2.5 DVD and I don't have the 2.0 yet I can't tell what is entirely new and what isn't, the original pegasus is on the 2.0 DVD correct?). Ok so here are a few screen captures from what I believe are extended sequences.

We see Cally helping the Chief fix a Viper(giving him a wrench) when new parts from and a note from the knuckledraggers of Pegasus arrive. Cally is the one who reads the note and her range of facial expressions while reading it (I only posted a three or so) is hilarious and fascinating to watch.

The next sequence is an extended bit when the Pegasus Deck Chief Laird introduces himself and looks at the Blackbird.

It startes off with a small bit with Tyrol gloating over some of the new parts Galactica has recieved




I don't remember Cally introducing herself to Laird in the aired version but she does here.





And the sequence ends with the Chief happy that someone came to see his ship, and he gloats to Cally as she heads back to work.





Then we have the scene where the rumor is going about the Chirf being replaced by someone from Pegasus, and the entire crew is mad, it turns out to be Laird of course. This is Cally complaining to the Chief about it being 'bull$hit'

The last two are of Cally snapping at the Pegasus crew talking about rape.







Then there is an extended scene with Adama as she asks after the Chief and Adama learns from Tigh that Helo and the Chief are to be executed (I think they actually extend the beinging of this scene as she waits for Adama [outside of CIC?] and then walks with him down the hall). The main addition here is her listening in on Adama's call with Tigh and learning that the Chief is to be executed, once again her facial expritions are great. I wish they would let her use her range of expresions more often.






The extended Cally screen time (which is rather significant) is great in the extended Pegasus but I would heartily recommend it for one scene in a pilots brief onboard Pegasus wherein Starbuck pisses off the Pegasus CAG (and is pissed off by him) by merely being...well, Starbuck. That scene is simply awesome in and of itself.
