Title: Cally/Galen/Sharon YouTube Video
Description: "Girl Next Door"

Vorticity - February 13, 2007 02:35 AM (GMT)
I found this gem while surfing Youtube. It's got the right song for our favorite Character. Kudos to the maker of this video.

"Girl Next Door"

Enjoy!

Nice find Vorticity. I never saw the jealousy on the part of Cally that the super dooper fans of Boomer saw/see in the relationship but whatever. The compilation was well done. I am awaiting another Laws have Changed montage from Nooblerfan now that Cally has had more screen time and the greenery is not so prolific now.

From Sabaceanbabe no less!

Okay this thing just made my new signature.

Yes, a Laws have Changed video on YouTube would allow us to disseminate it more.

(sigh) I sure hope Cally gets more to do starting next week. She was great in the New Caprica Arc and in "Unfinished Business", and she was in the mid-season cliffhanger but hasn't done much yet.....I remain optimistic. Next week doesn't just "have Cally in it", it FOCUSES on Cally, and I do believe it will begin an entire new storyarc with the character.

That was amazing! The cuts followed the lyrics and footage was used from the mini, seaosns, 1,2 and 3 as well as the webisodes.  :muffin:

Great Video!
:dancingbunny:

I do have one question. Two minutes and twentyone seconds into the video, Cally is sampling some booze and it apears that she has her right arm in a sling. I don't remember this happening. Did I miss it? :(
Cally

Knaves - February 15, 2007 01:23 AM (GMT)
eh, er...I haven't seen that before either, in fact I missed it even in the video, nice catch there Darth Coffee. Has anyone seen that scene before, or know where it is from?

That was a deleted scene from LDYBII, the PRICELESS scene where Cally and Galen first kiss (its quite a good scene)

It's scenes like that that gives a storyline a good stable foundation.

Well yeah, but then again it made the quick cut "One Year Later" to Pregnant Cally all the more shocking (in a good way)

crazyazunboy - February 17, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
Anyone know where i can find that deleted scene?

Very good question. I own the UK set, so don't have deleted scenes for the back half of s2. If anyone could make it "availabe" to me, that would be awesome.

S2 and S2.5 are seperated in seperate sets, right?

Knaves - February 17, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
Yea, but only for the US release. The UK version is only one set and doesn't inclued the original Pegasus episode nor apparently some of the deleted scenes.

(Sigh) it was a truly "good" quality scene purely cut for time reasons

Basically, Tyrol and Cally are drinking in the tool room with the still (after they made up in Sickbay when she said they were fine and she's always cared about him)

and Tyrol is remarking on the crazed irony of how Cavil had him half-convinced that he was a Cylon, only for Cavil to really be a Cylon himself (he also states that both Cavils were indeed airlocked)

Cally tries to drink but her jaw is wired shut and it falls out. They have a good laugh about this and lots of giggling. As Tyrol helps wipe up the mess, Cally leans in and kisses him on the lips.

Tyrol (ever the fool) is surprised, and Cally (CUTNESS) says "What, you didn't know?"

Can't believe they cut that.

Hmm... I don't know, I'm torn. On the one hand, it sounds like sweet fun. On the other hand, the rather unnatural and cheesy last line "What, you didn't know?" would ruin my joy.

Bugger <_< I only own the first half. Oh well more incentive for me to go buy the second half. Too bad they don't have it out on HD DVD

Darth Coffee - February 19, 2007 02:42 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I have found the first half of 2, but I need to look for the second half and get both.

*gets a tissue*
That was so beautiful. It would have been nice to see it. Do they keep copies of the cut scenes? It would be nice if they put the deleted scenes back in for their DVDs.

Don't worry Pedda it was acted quite well

Knaves - March 8, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)
hey you can find that scene here it is at the end of a compilation of all the deleted scenes of season two with Aaron Douglas, there is another nice scene of the Chief watching Cally working from the place he was dreaming of jumping.

The host of the link is the Aaron Douglas Fans website and the link is down under Deleted Scenes.

Solium - March 8, 2007 12:39 AM (GMT)
This is the first time I have seen the deleted "kissing scene" and have to say, WOW! That was a wonderful performance by Cally and Aaron. Much better than some of the soap opera stuff we got with Lee, Dee, Kara, Anders in this third season.

OT: I don't remember Six's blouse being so transparent on Kobal. :o :whistle2:

Pedda - March 9, 2007 02:57 PM (GMT)
I like it when Sol appreciates a good script. ;)

Knaves, thank you so much for that link! The actors did a wonderful job capturing both the awkwardness and the sweetness of the situation. It makes you feel sooo good. Plus, if you've ever met Nicki and Aaron in person, you'd know how close Cally's joking around is to how these two act together in real life.
