The Official IMDB Thread

Got the latest scoop or news from Nicki's IMDB account? Post it here!

Nicki finally has some pics on her IMDB account. (Not sure who posts them) To be honest not the best pics, but at least there’s something up there now. :D

Sometimes a link comes in handy... ;)

Jeez, those pics are really small. As far as I know, actors pay for submitting a profile pic. The other photos, however, are mostly posted by IMDb itself, I think. At least the event pics.

Oh, and I noticed that the telemovie is now offically called "Battlestar Galactica: Razor".

Yeah, the pictures are small, but at least it's activity.

Yea, some pics at least means some activity. ;)

Activity is good, but I think someone chopped her bio down some. It was never great to begin with but I imagine that it was longer than it is now. Could simply be my memory though.

They may not have much on Nicki's Bio, but Wikipedia has a good bit of stuff on Nicki and Cally.

I find that Wikipedia borders on censorship nowadays. They took off this fan site in the links section and removed the photograph of Nicki. Since this fan site is a part of the Nicki Clyne culture and not a promotional piece created by Nicki or her agent I believe the link shouldnt have been removed. I believe the image used was a portrait shot which I believe would fall under fair use.

On a side note they even removed the Luciana Carro Fan Board Link on Wiki.

I am note a lawyer but they seem to be getting selective in the information they wish to release. Sorry for the rant.

Censoring may be a word too strong to describe what's going over there, but I definitely know what you mean. On the one hand, it's very understandable that they have to protect themselves against allegations of intellectual property shift as well as against allegations that every idiot's unsourced additions remain unchecked.

On the other hand, many of their other policies appear to be more rigid or even than necessary or even downright stubborn. You are not allowed to link to forums/boards or to sites using Flash, even if they are official. Plus, the semi-official staff seems to be preoccupied with constantly re-categorizing articles, and with measures to streamline the appearance.

Consequently, I'm very happy that the Battlestar Wiki is such a well-managed and civil place.

"Censoring", may have been a bit strong.

I am a bit on edge nowadays because "news and information" have become manufactured forms of entertainment. What should be a free exchange of ideas and information is all to often presented with misinformation or with valuable information missing from the piece, thus distorting the over all "truth" in the presentation of knowledge base presentations.

Off soap box.... :P
