Title: Cally a Toaster?!
Description: No, she's just a body double!

Sorry to scare you off here, but lookie what I recently dug up on the Battlestar Wiki:

http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Image:Final_Five.jpg

This is a promotional image from S3E12: "Rapture". Although the final edited scene might have been different (post FX, lighting conditions), a clever eye can spot a few things:

* Aaron Douglas on the far right. (No need to explain, face is full on visible. Unshaven.)
* A male character, possibly Michael Trucco, left from center.
* Nicki in dead center, opposite Lucy Lawless. This is undoubtedly Nicki, looking at her length compared to the rest of the actors (Nicki is tiny, remember), the bottom part of her face, and the dark blonde ponytail.
* Right from center, a female character, although it is NOT Rekha Sharma (Tory Foster). They may have used an extra for this shot (as Tory should have been in there if the Final Five were to be shown full-on)
* Undoubtedly Michael Hogan far right. (Tall male, pretty big face)

Storyline wise, this would turn out to be two female Final Fives and three males (the three males being already revealed).

One cannot say much more from this photograph, as I said, the final shot has been re-edited to make the faces unrecognisable. Nicki IS the shortest in the group, however, and she is definitely smaller than Rekha (if Rekha were to be on right from center). Katee Sackhoff would have been taller than Rekha (and thus would require a different body double from Nicki)

I'm going to see if I can dig up a HD screencap of the final edit instead of the photograph, as the photograph clearly was not intended as a canon shot. And, I'm going to find out who that extra between Michael and Nicki really is.

Can't see pic. Battlestarwiki dosent like hot linking.

Edit: Found the pic. Not surprised they used stand ins, so no one would ever know even on the set. Clearly not Aaron Douglas or any other star of the series. But good find all the same! It actually proves you cannot tell the final five from the shot that made it into the episode.

Edited, as BSG Wiki just added hotlink protection recently (probably).

If Nicki were to be a Cylon too, it wouldn't work anyway, since she has a child from Tyrol (also Cylon). If two Cylons were to conceive it would mean the introduction of a new model.

Funny thing though: Cureently, only six of the Significant Seven (every one but Athena) are actually against humanity, and these models have been shown to know that they're Cylon from the start. Could there be something like a 'lower six' (D'Anna, Cavil, Leoben, Simon, Doral, Caprica-Six) who know from the start, and an 'upper six' (Tyrol, Tigh, Anders, Athena, Tory, ....) that require a trigger and are capable to ascend beyond their programming? Clearly, there is going to be a huge split in the Cylon culture the upcoming season, possibly a civil war.

Cally isn't a Cylon, because Ron Moore officially said her baby Nicky with Galen is a hybrid.

****If you notice, everyone in that photo is Caucasian, but Tori is South Asian.

They must have just had stand-ins under the hoods and not the real actors.

Besides, the final Cylon is Dualla; pause your DVD on Number Three's sketches of them and there's one that looks just like Dualla. Plus "Anastasia" = Greek for "Resurrection" was an obvious clue.

Cally being a Cylon is obviously impossible anyway, because there is no way two Cylons can have a child the "human" way (since that would mean creating a new humanoid Cylon model). She was used as a stand-in in this shot.

That is not a definite clue, however. It's a good argument, but that would mean the final model is also "different" from the last 4 revealed, otherwise Dualla would be in the same room as Tyrol, Tori, Tigh an Anders in the "Crossroads" scene, as she was on Galactica at the time and would have heard the Bob Dylan tune.
