well first of all it's not costumes (that is a "disfras" or something you put on for halloween) it's customs.

and one of the customs here is independence day. That's like huge here.
it's huge because it's the only day of the years were you get to blow up fireworks.(they are illegal in any other day)

in this country you can't run through a streelight. the police will catch you!and no you can't bribe them.

another customs is thanksgiving which is also pretty big. americans eat turkey andd have a feast.

christmas is not so big here, since there are a lot of people that are not christian.

oh and black people get offened if you call them black. they prefer african-americans. but some don't care if oyu call them black. they are a-ok.(if that sounded racist I'm sorry)

for halloween...umm it's pretty much the same. you dress up and go get candy. but when you knock on a door you have to say "trick or treat".
and then they give you candy (vd)

then we have music. It plays an important role in todays american teens.(real big role) some kids like to pretend they are rock stars and dress like them.hmm now that I think about it...all people dress the way their favorite singer dresses.(except me...I don't like the popular stuff)

anime is considered as a "not cool thing" here. anime has a lot of fans though. it's just that the mayority of people don't like it.

oh and saint seiya is not liked here at all.(thank you DIC!) (sacar)

In halloween u usually find sexy bitches on the parties dressed like witches, faires, pirates, bunnies, etc... but what they all have in common is that they look like sexy bitches.

Thanksgiving it's something I don't care about, but I always get invited to a thanksgiving dinner and that's free food for me; so I don't complain (ja)

Christmast... people put lights and all kinds of nice looking things on their houses. However, on the 24th it seems very boring and sad cuz most of the people go to bed early rather than stayed up after midnight to get drunk and party 'til the sun rises like we do in South America.
