I certainly remember this performance! Yes, indeed, he really did "send me" that week.
Looking back, I realize now that Taylor really had a plan when he was on the show. He certainly knew that if he sang that song, every woman listening to him was going to be hooked!

This was one of the performances that won it for Taylor. Even Simon said he was magic. He looked REALLY good, and that little point with the tilt of the heard he does at the start coming down the ramp- man, my heart pounds when I see that. He was hot that night, and no fire department could have put out that blaze.

My absolute all time favorite AI 5 performance from Taylor. He had the look, the style , the voice , the passion and the hook.........
