Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is a new pair of Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS released in Japan in
September 2007 and April 2008 in North America. Like in the previous game, you take on the role of a human who was transformed into a Pokemon. Not much has changed in the way of game play from the first games(Pokemon Red rescue team and Pokemon Blue rescue team), but the story line is more developed. New Pokemon from the Sinnoh region have been added.

Game Information

As stated above, you are a pokemon. Your original intention was to find out how you became a pokemon. Unfortunately you get sidetracked by your partner a lot, exploring different dungeon for the guild and trying to find out about your partner’s relic fragment he carries around with him.

Time seems to be slowing down, is that even possible?! Your partner informs you that special items called Time gears control the flow of time. If those gears were to be removed from their resting places, then time itself would stop. Apparently someone is stealing the time gears, what could they be up to…?

IQ has been improved from the previous games. Now instead of every Pokemon learning the same IQ skills, Pokemon have been split into groups. Certain IQ skills are in each group. This gives the ability to allow you to give jobs to a Pokemon such as in the Pokemon D/P games. And like before, a Pokemon can learn certain moves once they reach a certain IQ level.

Probably the best thing they did for this game was add the Wi-Fi feature. Now you can send your SOS mail to anyone in your registry or anyone in the world. Like wise, you can also download missions others have put up. While trading items is impossible through this manner, the Wi-Fi feature is still truly a great step of improvement from its prequel.

Ever wanted to battle your friend’s team? Here’s your chance! Another improvement from this game is the ability to download teams from the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection or trade teams with a friend via Wireless communication or Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. This is one way for you to get Pokemon that aren’t in your game to join your team.

Like before, each version has it’s own Pokemon/Items that are exclusive to that version only. But thanks to wonder mail codes, the version exclusives are now available in both versions of the game. In addition to that, eggs have also been added to the game. Friend areas have from the last game has also been removed. All in all, the game has made major improvement from the first game.

YOu might want to move some of the stuff from your summary down to the game information section as features and u don't need (or actually shouldn't have) tags

Striker - May 30, 2008 09:59 PM (GMT)
Why no ?

Just so it matches with all the other game overviews which have all been without the underling if you look at the site

Now it's complete! Added section on IQ, the Wi-Fi features, and some other junk XD.
