(OK, i made a post like this is the forest pad but didn't get too many replies so I'm opening up discussion with the regular members)

Ok...Ive done ALOT of thinking about these teams and I for one am not ready to give such a good idea up with out a fight. There is still a way we can make use out of these. First, we need to expand the color teams site wide.

Now i already here that argument from the last time, "its just like clans"

No, no it isn't. Just like everything else we do here, TAG can do it better than anyone else. Clans have WARS with other sites, they SPAM other sites in anticipation, run spy campaigns, flame the other sites (TAGots), and even hack them if it gets bad enough.

The color teams will be FRIENDLY COMPETITION. It will give people incentive to battle, brawl, or race but won't hurt the relationships between the people doing so, in fact it will build those relationships.

Think of it this way, clans are more like two armies at war, while color teams are more like two sports teams playing a basketball game. At the end of the basketball game everyone walks off the courts with respect, having a good time.

But how do we make this work? Well I say we have 3 admins head each of the color teams (ludi, jido, and coji) and I'll either start a 4th color team (since were not really bound by the colors of brawl each started) or just stay neutral.

Then we'll go with Ludi's idea and let ppl join whatever color team they want. Since u can't really say one admin is way more popular than the other it should work out rather nicely. If for some reason they become terribly unbalanced we can always work something out then.

We can make a new forum section of the main page and give each team a new forum in it, as well as one to set up matches. From now on everything that goes on could also be awarded color points, even if you werent acting as a "team". Like ludi's pokemon tournament, if coji wins and she was say on the green team, she would win some color points for her team just cause she particapted and won even though it wasn't a color team event.

We could also give special perks to the current winning color team to promote ppl to battle and brawl again like 1/2 at the credit store, or getting a personal chat for a week, or some other prize.

*whew* Ok, what does everyone think?

Should we have restricted-access boards for each of the teams? Or would that be too much competition? (We don't wanna end up like clans)

i think it would be ok since there is an admin in each section so nothing would get out of hand
