Hey guys, just a few notes as to what these 'big changes' are that I've been hinting about!

First of all, our community is going from strength to strength, and we are attracting attention from GW head office - I can't say any more at this stage, but suffice to say that even the HH authors themselves walk amongst us from time to time... ;)

As most of you know already, I am an independent retailer for GW products, and also that GW are tightening their grip on us indies to prevent undercutting and 'bedroom entrepreneurs' from cornering the market. In the past, I traded under the name of Roll of the Dice, but now I have changed my details (and decreased by workload!) by moving my retail domain to The Great Crusade. This means that I will have a basic store facility running through this domain name, and that members of these boards will be the only customers entitled to discounts! More on that when I get the store page and shopping basket facility up and running.

Secondly, I am removing my teeth. Not literally of course, that would be horrible. :blink: I mean that I am stepping down as a moderator from the boards, and indeed if you look you will see that I am no longer listed anywhere as a moderator in any forum. Fear not, I am not going to do a runner back to Terra like the Emperor, but I am moving entirely into the role of Admin and leaving more moderators in my place to act as my eyes and ears (and occasionally fists!) and I will be online and joining in the discussions just as I always have.

As has been pointed out, it is not really fair to have one person in sole charge of a board - if my workload gets too much, the community suffers from my lack of attention, and if I have a bad day it can mean that I sit beyond reproach no matter what negative things I do or say.

So in my place I leave a whole load of new moderators, taken from the most prolific posters and people who spend the most time logged into these boards anyway. The warning system also now applies to ALL members, including moderators, so no one is above the law! The moderator team now consists of:

and I am waiting to hear back from a couple more. So many thanks to all these guys, and I'm sure they will do a sterling job!

Finally, on Monday (after we have recovered from Games Day) we will be announcing some VERY special new contests, as befitting to the growing status of our little PH community - I hope you will all be as excited as I and the moderators are at the prospect of what is still to come... ;)
