With the arrival of some Cold Ones, I've started to build a prototype 'Jetbike', Exodite style.

I'm hoping to add some Crusade-era debris, corpses and so on to them. Mk2 helmets on trophy racks and the like.

It reminds me of my first ever conversion based on the Mike McVey exodite vs chaplain diorama he made in the late 90's.

Except that his was great, mine looks like I used a spatula to paint it! <_<
(I also bumped him as I went to take a pic and his tail broke and had to be re-glued.) <_<

I'd like to do some with spears to act as Shining Spears.

Going to have to work out some uniform patterns, attachments for the basic riders to make the spears stand out more- maybe a set of helmet plumes.

Maybe bashing up a Dino Raiders Kit to make a Exodite Battle Dino ?...

It does look big enough to fit an Exodite artillery piece.

Yeah, ol' lizzie's been floating around a few days.
I love the model and from a art point of view I will be doing something with it, but it's going to be hard to proxy something that big. Ideally it would be a Wraithlord if you stuck to official Codex, but that's a 40mm round base :P

Like i said look for Dino Raiders toys on ebay and look what you can do wit them...they sometimes come with attached armor and weapons and the miniature size from their figures isnt too different from the size of 40k Miniatures so you only need to customize a little bit...

Looks good--I'm doing some too (along the pipeline, sadly behind my Mechanicum stuff!) and was going to head in a similar direction. So I'm glad to see that it works! I think that the Dark Elf Corsairs could make a good base for Exodites on foot, too.
