I decided that this would be a good idea because I know we all get a little annoyed at things from time to time that we well...

THE VENT THREAD

So basically, this is the place to vent your frustrations that niggle at you all the time, or the ones that just happen occasionally that really bug you at the time and the ones that you just fell you have to get off your chest ;)
And to be honest, there are little rules, just standard TGC rules and please don't post things which could cause any real offence to other members.
Eg. "I really hate (bored member) they do my head in"
but to be honest, I think were all mature enough not to do stuff like that, and I'm sure people won't take a hissy fit by people saying something like "I don't like a certain football team because....." and in all fairness I believe that would be a touch childish.
Basically, use your discretion, use your head, and just play nice with each other! :lol:
And also I will add, help each other out where possible, If you have useful advise that could help to any degree, SPEAK UP!


Well, I think I will start this off with my little frustration that's bothering me at the moment :rolleyes: ....
I joined the Bolter and Chainsword a few month ago and I've realised I've never actually posted on there and to be honest, I barely use the damn site! :rolleyes:
The only time I use the site is when I need to use the space marine painter and even then that's a very rare, rare occasion.
Basically, I joined on there for no reason (to my recollection) and as I cannot delete myself Im stuck with an account which will most likely never be used :(
I hate the idea that I've got a useless tie to a website that I don't use, It really grinds my gears :angry:
Has anyone else got any profiles littered across the net that they don't actually need but are stuck with?
I wouldn't be bothered but its just the fact that I know it's gonna lay dormant for ever and I hate the idea of clutter, of any nature. Especially this as I just feel I'm tied to something I don't want to be a part of :unsure:

Yes and it bugs me too, because I'm taking up space on a website that I don't visit.

Today as I'm leaving school, some people in my class keep egging me on to ask a girl to a dance that I asked once. And I might add, I'm just a friend, a normal friend. So I do and she seemed a bit frustrated so, I'm thinking, Dang it, those people just probably ended my friendship with a girl that is pretty cool to hang out with, since we both have several hobbies that are the same. (No not the GW hobby.) So I'm pretty angry right now. Makes me wanna be Angry Ron for a day! :angry:

Where the hell do I begin
-Redoing a carpet on the second floor of my house only to find the floor underneath is rotten
-Ripping out 1 board to see the extent of damage
-Leaving board off even though I am not ready to put a new board down
-PUTTING FOOT IN BETWEEN NAILERS AND SMASHING THROUGH THE CELING OF MY F"ING LIVING ROOM.
(My foot went through the floor of the second floor and out the celing in the living room on the first floor,the piece of sheet-rock landed on my dog who did not get hurt but got the you know what scared out of her)

Having to patch a giant piece of sheet-rock in living room celing
-Having to redo the entire subfloor of the second story of my house
-Relising the boards I used were too thin.
-Having to nail a complete second set of boards over the set I just layed down.

(This is what I have been doing since last thursday)

Hmmm lets see..

-Having to wake up at 6:30 am to study Management because i fell asleep early yeasterday,watching tv(damn those boring shows on tv).
-Having to wait so long for the next HH novel.I read them in like a day or two and the next one usually comes out after 4 damn months...
-Not having the patience to paint one army at a time.
-Winter weather,i'm more of a summer guy.
-The weather being fine all week and then raining on Saturday night so most airsoft fields are messed up next morning(we play at Sundays).
-People in airsoft shooting you from 2 meters away.
-Having enough money to buy a Titan and then realizing thats 2 months worth of rent i'm about to spend on a big toy(damn rationality).
-Law Class
-Drivers in Greece thinking that instead of "slow down and wait for the red light",the orange traffic light means "speed up to avoid the red light".

All of those things are awesome. Particularly parmesan. KING of cheese. I agre with the rest though.

Mind you, I'm an enthusiastic cook so am a big fan of all sorts of ingredients that many other folks find distasteful. Like fish heads (I regularly have drawer in my freezer full of fish heads and carcasses for stock and stews). And bone marrow. And snails. And REALLY REALLY stinky cheese. Hell, I'm practically French when it comes to stuff like that. Mind you, us English are pretty good when it comes to stinky cheese too, stilton is great for example.

Lessee, things that are bugging me at the moment:

The managing agents + landlord of my flat. Useless, lazy, and generally VERY annoying.
London council tax. Ouch.
Gas bills. Farcically expensive these days in the UK. And the fact that British Gas actually texted me to brag about the fact they had brought prices down by 10%, despite raising them around 50% over the previous 9 months. Eejits.
The fact that one night of snow can cripple the entire London public transport infrastructure... what the HELL is that all about?!? Useless.
And I very much agree with Iacton about screaming/squealing kids of either gender. Just TALK why dontcha? There is NO NEED for all that volume.

My car, previously thought to be suffering from a cracked coolant tank, has actually got multiple breaks in the radiator system.

I hate the fact that the rest of the country disappeared under a lovely big blanket of snow which = time off, snowball fights and other general returning to your childhood.
We had about 8 hours of snow, followed by 36 hours of drizzle, with an overnight freeze thrown in.

That the weather in San Francisco PMS's like a 13 year old girl. Seriously, today at rowing practice, it got cold so I put on a jacket and beanie and long spandex. Then 2 minutes later it got unbelievably hot, so i took off all the heavy layers and put on short spandex. Then when we got on the water it got cold again, so I was freezing for a couple hours until we got on land. Then I put heavy layers on again but it got hot... AGAIN. So I just kept the warm clothes on and dealt with it, but for some reason the weather didn't want to get cold again.

That and commercials that try to sell a product by pretending its an unbiased discussion between two people.

For instance: "It sounds like you really approve of this product."
"I absolutely do (because of course I would say I don't like it when trying to sell it!)"

Oh yeah, one other thing that really annoys me....

If you watch a film in the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream NY you very likely will be shot by the people making the noise :unsure:
