Battle Brother Loken - March 21, 2009 03:15 PM (GMT)
not bad at all

Magos Explorator - March 21, 2009 03:45 PM (GMT)
I don't really game so won't comment on rules, but where's the model from? Looks very nice!

Talonclaw - March 21, 2009 03:47 PM (GMT)
I made it and painted it. It's from bitz and sculpting done on the leman russ torso and legs from Iacton.

Magos Explorator - March 21, 2009 10:50 PM (GMT)
Good work, then! :)

Uzthizzar, Librarian-Sorceror - March 22, 2009 11:42 AM (GMT)
Jolly Good.
Matches Corax as in Fulgrim, which I have only just read!

Legion XX - March 25, 2009 11:33 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Talonclaw @ Mar 21 2009, 01:49 PM)

The Featherstorm
Corax's jump pack was the epitome of single-man flight and was inlaid with elaborate script and prayers, it was crafted with the rarest metals and technology. The Featherstorm may move 18" in the movement phase instead of the normal 12".

Very well done!

The only issue is a minor one, but what we now know of the pre-Heresy era, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any prayers on his person anywhere!

Talonclaw - March 26, 2009 06:11 PM (GMT)
Ah, excellent point. Scripts and embellishments then! ;)

Uzthizzar, Librarian-Sorceror - March 27, 2009 04:43 PM (GMT)
Not really being serious in saying this, but how do you suppose you fire a bolt pistol whilst using LCs?

Talonclaw - March 27, 2009 04:49 PM (GMT)
LCs are retractable. I really don't know though. Shrike has a bolt pistol though, so I suppose you should be asking GW.

Fair enough!

Talonclaw - March 30, 2009 04:54 PM (GMT)
I've tuned him down a bit. He mashed through a 1000 pt army single-handedly!

Torg - March 31, 2009 09:19 AM (GMT)
You know it kinda fits my Corax that I made awhile ago,
Thought I might put it down here for a idea?Does this fit the description?

Nice Corax dude!It fits mine!At least some of us know
about putting the talons and pack on him.(Hey by any chance
is there any thing I might add on my Corax to make him look even more Coraxy
instead of Shrike like?

Talonclaw - March 31, 2009 10:21 AM (GMT)
I'd change the head. Give him a Space Wolf head, they always seem to work well.

@Mashing 1000 Points Army: Woah! :o

@Modeld: You have both done a great job! ;)

@ Fulgrim Rules: Nice! :)

@ Sanguinius Rules: Nice! Slightly similar to mine. ;)

Can I post my prototype rules for Mortarion and the Deathshroud please?

Talonclaw - March 31, 2009 01:42 PM (GMT)
Certainly. I thought your rules were well balanced, I hope you didn't mind me editing them. ;)

Oh, here's a new rule:

Epic Duel: If two Primarchs every come into close combat, every model is pushed back 6" and may not enter the combat. Every combat within 12" is halted, as the participants watch a god-like battle.

Cool! What about another Primarch or even the Emperor himself though? Surely they would not be affected?

Mortarion and the Deathshroud are coming!

Talonclaw - April 1, 2009 03:49 PM (GMT)
Oops. Here's a revised version.

Epic Duel: If the Emperor, or a Primarch ever enter combat against another Primarch, every model within 6" is pushed back until they are 6" away. If an "epic duel" combatant is killed every model of the controlling Primarch's side within 36" must take a Morale test with no modifiers. Other Primarchs may enter the "epic duel" combat.

Talonclaw - April 2, 2009 02:47 PM (GMT)
Hmmm, I think we need to drop 2D6 armour penetration. Sure, Primarchs were strong, but they couldn't rip open a Land Raider. (or could they? )
