soooo, ummm, any comments?

In most of the pic's they are too out of focus to pick out the details.
In the first two shots where I can see him clearly, the paint job looks nice and clean. Some in focus close ups would be great.

Agreed. Looks like a nicely-painted mini, based on the first couple shots, but would love to see something closer-up that captures more detail. Shroud mentioned in another thread that he is going to try to post a tutorial on taking best possible pics of minis - I know this will help me, perhaps it will help you & others as well.

Practical photography tutorial coming up this weekend. Hopefully it will help in cases such as this - excellent minis, lousy camera work! :D
As has been said, the mini looks great, can't wait to see some better pics.

Agreed. They do look good from a distance. As soon as you can clean up the photos, I'm positive we'll be able to use them with very little problem. Like your color choices; lighter than I'd expect, but it works.

I painted these before the recent descriptions from the HH novels. They're based on my interpretation of the colour scheme from the IA article.

They look great (all of them). MotF, consider the beakie pipe-thing stolen. :P
Iacton - March 31, 2008 10:19 AM (GMT)
I really like the darker colour scheme that you have used MotF. It inspired a similar sort of palette with a figure that I finished recently (in my blog).
They have an excellent brooding look about them
I am similarly keen on evilamericorp's WBs and the inscriptions there too.
I don't know why, but I just don't have Kor Phaeron down as a terminator, maybe I've missed it in the artbooks. I understand that it has been done to make him "big" in scale and personality but I just have the WB characters as being dominant by force of will and words, rather than size like so many of the other legions.
Just my 2p's worth and nothing wrong with the quality of either of you guys' efforts

When he's a traitor at least, he's in power armour (looking rather great I might add). Maybe it's a special mission or summin.
Also, the first one could be taken as artificer power armour (especially seen as that variant of termi armour was only seen ten thousand years later...)

Just adding in the Word Bearer that I completed a little while back using a RT librarian, a current head and some GS
